菜用甘薯茎尖不同储存期 Vc 和亚硝酸盐含量的变化研究

利用菜用甘薯茎尖,通过测定其不同贮藏期 Vc 和亚硝酸盐含量,研究了甘薯茎尖在冷藏和冷冻下Vc 及亚硝酸盐含量变化的规律。结果表明：随着贮藏时间的延长,在冷藏和冷冻两种贮藏方式下,甘薯茎尖 Vc 均下降,但冷藏处理较冷冻处理下降幅度小。亚硝酸盐含量出现消长变化,冷冻比冷藏条件贮存亚硝酸盐增加低些。所以食用时应根据需要综合考虑采用冷藏或冷冻,最大限度地降低其不利因素。     

Protective paracrine effect of mesenchymal stem cells on cardiomyocytes

Objective  The aim of this study was to test the protective effect of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) on cardiomyocytes in vitro and to investigate the anti-apoptotic signaling pathway. Methods  MSCs from Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were separated and cultured. MSC medium was collected from MSCs cultured in serum-free Dulbecco’s modified eagle medium (DMEM) under hypoxia. Cultured cardiomyocytes from neonatal SD rats were exposed to hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R) and treated with MSC medium. The apoptotic cardiomyocytes were stained with Annexin-V-fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), Hoechst 33342 and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling (TUNEL). The mitochondrial transmembrane potential of cardiomyocytes was assessed using a fluorescence microscope. The expression of Bcl-2, Bax, cytochrome C, apoptosis-induced factor (AIF), and caspase-3 was tested by Western blot analysis. Results  Our data demonstrated that MSC medium reduced H/R-induced cardiomyocyte apoptosis, increased the Bcl-2/Bax ratio, and reduced the release of cytochrome C and AIF from mitochondria into the cytosol. Conclusion  MSCs protected the cardiomyocytes from H/R-induced apoptosis through a mitochondrial pathway in a paracrine manner. 甘氨酸-N-甲基转移酶对神经干细胞分化的影响

本文主要是研究甘氨酸-N-甲基转移酶(Gnmt)抑制后对神经干细胞分化的影响。从14dSD孕鼠的胚胎纹状体分离培养神经干细胞,培养两周后,将神经干细胞接种到24孔板,加入甘氨酸-N-甲基转移酶的产物SAH对该酶进行抑制,观察其抑制后对神经干细胞分化的影响。采用RT-PCR分析Gnmt抑制后mRNA的表达。结果表明：甘氨酸-N-甲基转移酶抑制可以诱导神经干细胞的分化。

概述了神经干细胞的生物学特性、分布以及影响其分化和增殖的因素，并探讨了神经干细胞移植和基因治疗在神经系统疾病治疗中的应用.     

人胚胎期垂体的形态学研究——Ⅱ.前叶细胞的超微结构

为了阐明不同胎龄垂体前叶细胞的功能状态,取16～4O周新鲜胎儿垂体17例,电镜下观察。依照前叶细胞的超微结构特点,可以把它们分为四种类型:未分化型细胞、分化中细胞、巳分化细胞和退化中细胞。前叶细胞的分化过程可能经历了干细胞→分化中细胞→各类激素细胞的系列顺序。胎龄16～22周时,前叶内以未分化细胞为主,偶见已分化细胞;胎龄29～34周时胞质颗粒明显的分化中细胞及已分比细胞占1/2以上。

上皮组织广泛存在于哺乳动物体内,能够自我更新并维持。探讨了不同上皮组织中的干细胞和在不同部位对上皮的更新与维持以及临床治疗应用前景。     

Gene transfer into primary cultures of fetal neural stem cells by a recombinant adenovirus carrying the gene for green fluorescent protein

Objective: To evaluate the transduction efficiency of a recombinant adenovirus carrying the gene for green fluorescent protein (Ad-GFP) into the primary cultures of fetal neural stem cells (NSCs) by the expression of GFP. Methods: The Ad-GFP was constructed by homologous recombination in bacteria with the AdEasy system; NSCs were isolated from rat fetal hippocampus and cultured as neurosphere suspensions. After infection with the recombinant Ad-GFP, NSCs were examined with a fluorescent microscopy and a flow cytometry for their expression of GFP. Results: After the viral infection, flow cytometry analysis revealed that the percentage of GFP-positive cells was as high as 97.05%. The infected NSCs sustained the GFP expression for above 4 weeks. After differentiated into astrocytes or neurons, they continued to express GFP efficiently. Conclusion: We have successfully constructed a viral vector Ad-GFP that can efficiently infect the primary NSCs. The reporter gene was showed fully and sustained expression in the infected cells as well as their differentiated progenies.     

金银花茎藤栽培香菇主要营养成分研究

绿原酸、木犀草素苷是金银花植物特有的且具有清热解毒、增强人体免疫力等功效的保健药用成分。实验研究了金银花茎藤培养基培养香菇子实体中的蛋白质、香菇多糖以及绿原酸、木犀草素苷等的含量状况。实验证实,以金银花茎藤等为主要原料培养香菇,其蛋白质含量略高于栎木屑培养基,其特有的香菇多糖含量基本没有变化,同时含有较高浓度的金银花植物所特有的绿原酸、木犀草素苷等保健药用成分,赋予了香菇新的药用保健价值,具有良好的开发前景。     

Umbilical cord blood: information for childbirth educators

Umbilical cord blood was once thought of as a waste product. Now, years after the first successful umbilical cord blood transplant, more families seek information about whether or not to save their newborn's cord blood. Childbirth educators may be one of the main sources that an expectant family depends on to gain more knowledge about cord blood banking in order to make an informed decision. Preserving umbilical cord blood in public banks is advisable for any family; however, it is recommended that expectant families only consider private cord blood banking when they have a relative with a known disorder that is treatable by stem cell transplants. The childbirth educator is encouraged to be well versed on the topic of cord blood banking, so that as questions from class participants arise, the topic can be explored and addressed appropriately.
