随着家庭结构和功能分化以及社会流动的增加，我国农村出现了大量的老年空巢家庭，已经成为一种社会现象。老年空巢家庭的出现对空巢老人及社会都产生了重要影响。文章通过对农村老年空巢家庭的产生、特征和影响的分析，旨在探讨其对我国社会保障提出的挑战。

Communities of Caring: Developing Curriculum That Engages Latino/a Students’ Diverse Literacy Practices

This study investigates the learning and work of a community of practice that engaged in a specific inquiry around family/community literacy and the development of a culture of caring that would connect family/community/school literacies in ways that allowed their mostly Latino/a students to develop positive student identities, enhanced personal connections to their peers, and stronger experiential responses to literacy instruction.     

Insights on Caring for Early Childhood Professionals and Families

Caring is the core value that empowers families and early childhood professionals. This article articulates the meaning and power of caring in the lives of children and families. It also explores family, professional, and community strategies for creating caring and nurturing children and families. In particular, insights that show that caring is learned early and that its impact is life long are discussed and applied to the early childhood professional’s identity.     

Parental Perceptions of Learning Disabilities

Abstract

The research presented in this article analyses 242 written responses to interview questions conducted with families who live in the United States to explore parental perceptions of disabilities. The data were analyzed through a case study methodology and discourse analysis. Findings from this study illustrate how parents drew upon both medical metaphors and sociocultural factors to discuss their perceptions of their or their children’s perceived learning disabilities.     

Helping Military Families Who Have a Child with a Disability Cope with Stress

This exploratory study investigates perceived levels of family stress for military families who have a young child with a disability. Two primary areas of study were the sources and levels of stress, and the benefits of resources designed to help families cope. Results of the study indicate an increased level of stress for families when the demands of military life were coupled with the demands of caring for a young child with a disability. Events such as separation from family members, relocation, deployment, and personal safety and health issues emerged as concerns of the military personnel. The importance of coordinating services for these families is discussed.

以世界广布的兰科植物为例．它在广东和中国的分布是非常复杂和有趣的．在中国169属当中．世界广布占2．95％．泛热带分布占4．73％．热带美洲和热带亚洲间断分布占0．6％．旧大陆热带分布6．5％．热带亚洲至热带大洋洲分布9．46％，热带亚洲至热带非洲分布2．95％．热带亚洲（印度－马来西亚）分布38．46％，北温带分布7．69％．东亚和北美间断分布2．36％．旧大陆温带分布1．18％，温带亚洲分布、地中海分布和中亚分布不存在，东亚分布14．79％．中国特有8．28％．但进一步的分析表明兰科的原始分布中心主要在东亚热带至亚热带地区．即主要是在华夏植物区系发生和发展起来的．     

论辽代家庭生活中佛教文化的影响

石刻资料和传统文献表明 ,辽代家庭生活中有着广泛的佛教文化的影响 ,这种影响可以归纳为以下四个方面 :第一 ,在思想上 ,拔苦灭罪、行善积德、祈祥增福、报恩尽孝这样以佛为本、儒释相融的观念成为主流 ;第二 ,在家庭财产的处置上 ,出现了组织佛教邑社和捐资修建寺院、佛塔 ,刊刻佛经等助佛现象 ;第三 ,在日常行为上 ,除了剃度出家以外 ,还出现了大量的居家念佛、诵经立幢的现象 ;第四 ,在生活习俗上 ,生子取名用佛号、妇女化妆用佛装 (妆 )、节日庆典遵佛诞等成为时尚。到了辽代中后期 ,这种影响在长城以南燕云地区汉族下层民众的家庭生活中表现最为突出
