People's media and communication rights in Indonesia and the Philippines1

This article attempts to investigate the emerging people's media in relation to the development of communication rights in Indonesia and the Philippines. The thrust is to focus on how the Indonesian and Philippine press acquiesced to political and economic control by the governments of the dictatorial regime of President Soeharta and President Marcos. On the other contrary, we look at how people felt that communication rights are their basic rights and that freedom of thought and freedom of speech are essential for democratic rule. Their resistant to violence, imprisonment and murder carried out by state functionaries have brought new forms of media. These are people's media or radical and citizen media which empower as well as transform ‘passive citizens’ into ‘political actors’.     

Rethinking the Rural Idyll

ABSTRACT

This article traces the profound social repercussions that resulted from the mass enlistment of British office workers into the armed forces during the First World War. Drawing heavily upon fictionalized autobiographies of the period, my study examines the various stages of the clerk's experience of the conflict and argues that the confidence gained during warfare by surviving office workers fundamentally shaped a more democratic postwar society. This change is evidenced, I argue, in the profile of the fictional clerk that emerges in British literature after 1918.     

J.B. Priestley,the ‘Modern’ and America

ABSTRACT

J.B. Priestley has often been seen as representative of a nostalgic Englishness which rejected the modern world and, in the process, embraced anti-Americanism. However, as this article suggests, Priestley had a more complicated relationship with both America and modernity than has been accepted. Focusing on the 1930s, it shows how Priestley travelled widely in the United States and came to admire the democratic and collective aspects of American culture, whilst also developing a critique of what he saw as the lack of individuality and creativity in other elements of the ‘mass' society, anticipating arguments he would develop after 1945.     

2019年篮联世界杯广州赛区小组赛对中国队的启示

2019年国际篮联篮球世界杯在中国圆满举行,广州作为分赛场,承接了西班牙、波多黎各、突尼斯以及伊朗四支代表队的小组比赛6场。通过对广州赛区四支队伍在小组赛中的表现技术进行分析,并对比中国队在本次赛事中的表现,发现中国男篮在备赛与参赛阶段,存在大赛目标不清晰,心理训练与细节训练不足,教练团队执教水平不稳定,篮球基本功不扎实等一系列问题,反映出我国篮球的发展正处于困境。系统地分析广州小组赛中四支队伍的赛况,并与中国队做出对比,有针对性地提出建议,为中国篮球的发展提供参考。     

论教师专业发展中的知识分子意识

“知识分子”是一个内涵不断变化的历史性、开放性的词语,知识分子与人类社会同在。知识分子意识是知识分子对自己角色、使命、价值追求和生存方式的自我意识,主要有理性批判意识、社会参与意识、非专业化意识。教师有可能成为知识分子,在专业发展中,教师在一定程度和特定意义上可以具备知识分子的某些意识,这有助于解决教师专业发展过程中出现的角色单面化、过度专业化和崇尚技术化的问题。教师在教育教学中需要自觉努力维护、构建课堂的公共性,并致力于将自己和学生培养成具有批判、探索、创新精神的民主型主体。     

心理契约视域下社会化阅读用户的退出、建言、忠诚和忽略行为

社会化阅读是伴随着互联网特别是移动互联网而产生的一种具有虚拟社区特点的全新阅读模式。为了全面揭示和解释社会化阅读用户的情感和行为,本文将组织行为学中的心理契约理论延展到社会化阅读虚拟社区,通过构建研究模型,采用焦点小组访谈与问卷调查相结合的方法进行实证检验;探究了用户感知信息价值和感知社交价值对其心理契约违背的影响,以及用户在社群化阅读的情境下心理契约遭到违背后所引发的退出、建言、忠诚和忽略行为。研究表明:①感知社交价值和感知信息价值与用户的心理契约违背之间均有显著的负相关关系,但对交易型和关系型两种不同类型的心理契约影响有所差异;②社会化阅读用户的交易型心理契约违背与建言行为和忠诚行为均呈负向显著关系,但与忽略行为和退出行为并无显著关系;③关系型心理契约违背与建言行为和忠诚行为呈负向显著关系,与退出行为和忽略行为呈正向显著关系。图2。表6。参考文献 57。     

Dissecting through Barriers: A Follow-up Study on the Long-Term Effects of Interprofessional Education in a Dissection Course with Healthcare Professional Students

Several studies have shown significant improvements in the attitudes and perceptions of healthcare professional students toward interprofessional education (IPE) immediately following intervention with IPE courses. However, there remains little evidence on the lasting effects of IPE courses and the long-term influences of these IPE experiences are poorly documented. The purpose of this study is to assess the long-term effects of an intensive, ten-week interprofessional gross anatomy dissection course at McMaster University. Attitudes and perceptions of past participants towards interprofessional learning were evaluated, now that they have started working with other healthcare professionals outside of the IPE course setting. Thirty-four past participants who have clinical experience working in interprofessional settings or are currently working in the healthcare field completed a follow-up questionnaire consisting of a modified Readiness for Interprofessional Learning Scale (RIPLS) and open-ended questions. Quantitative analysis revealed a significant decrease in their attitude towards teamwork and collaboration and respect for other health professions, but a significant improvement in their understanding of roles and responsibilities compared to their results immediately after the IPE intervention. Qualitative analysis of open-ended questions revealed several themes such as developing interprofessional competencies, developing relationships, and remembering the strengths of the IPE dissection course. The results of this study indicate that the IPE experience in anatomy was highly valued by the students and that past participants maintain a clear understanding of their scope of practice, but the reality of clinical practice may have eroded gains made in the program. 艺术体操旋转训练仪的研制与应用

根据对艺术体操转体动作的技术特点、动力学模型及生理学基础较为系统的理论分析,研制了艺术体操旋转训练仪,并给出了该仪器的机械系统和电气控制系统的设计原理。在应用方法上,提出了利用主动训练法可以提高艺术体操运动员转体启动阶段获得外界放射性冲量矩的能力,利用被动训练法可以提高运动员转体过程中人体姿态的自身调节能力和运动员前庭器官的稳定性,利用旋转训练仪的旋转速度、启动加速时间及停止减速时间、旋转方向、旋转圈数的不同组合可以探索更为个性化的艺术体操转体训练方法。     

新规则导向下世界女子竞技体操格局及发展趋势的研究

运用文献资料法、数理统计法和专家访谈法，结合新规则对39届世界体操锦标赛女子团体、全能和单项前8名运动员的比赛成绩、动作难度和完成情况进行了比较分析。结果表明：世界女子体操的格局基本稳定；全能比赛呈现出强项突出，单项均衡发展的特点；单项比赛的竞争呈现出个性化、特长化的发展趋势，技术的发展要求在动作难度和编排上不断创新，同时注重表现的艺术性和发挥的稳定性。     

我国女子撑竿跳高运动发展历程回顾及当前存在的问题分析

通过对我国女子撑竿跳高运动由强到弱的发展历程的回顾，以及对当前我国女子撑竿跳高存在的问题的分析，指出后备力量不足、教练员整体素质不高、训练选材理念存在偏差是制约我国女子撑竿跳成绩进步的主要因素。
