“两会”赠书管理工作研究——以武汉大学图书馆为例

美国亚洲基金会和中美亚洲之桥基金会的外文原版赠书现已成为许多高校图书馆外文馆藏的重要来源之一。武汉大学图书馆的两会赠书具有学科涵盖广泛、数量多等特点,有效补充了其外文馆藏,但同时也存在重复率较高、重收藏而轻利用、缺乏完善的制度等问题。我们应该规范两会赠书的工作细则、加强与西文图书采购人员的沟通与协调、加大两会赠书的宣传,从而优化两会赠书的管理工作。     

Accelerating knowledge production on educational leadership and management in East Asia: a strategic analysis

This paper discusses a strategy for accelerating the development of a regionally grounded knowledge base on educational leadership and management in East Asia. The study reviews data on patterns of knowledge production in East Asia, and employs the findings in the development of a strategy for increasing knowledge production. The study concludes that a suitable coordination strategy for the region should incorporate formal and informal strategies, be intermediate in scale and organised around a common research agenda. The authors propose that the substantive findings and the method of strategy analysis may also be relevant for academic leaders in other developing regions of the world.     

《东周列国志》城濮之战“闪现型”人物的互见文献探微

作为“羽翼信史”派历史演义小说,《东周列国志》在运用古籍材料《左传》和《列国志传》塑造“闪现型”人物形象方面,主要呈现两个特点.第一,丰富已有人物,如郄縠,《东周列志传》从“赵衰推荐郄縠”“练兵”“晋、曹交战”“堆尸-掘墓-棺尸”“假道于卫”“临终献计”及“文公怀念”七个方面加以润色,借《列国志传》之壳,据《左传》之实,撰写新的故事.第二,新增人物,如于朗,此人虽不见于《左传》,但《列国志传》和《东周列国志》中“归属”他名义之下的部分行为见于《左传》,可见小说作者为突出某一人物形象,往往将多件或不相关的事情,全部“归属”于该人物.     

基于低碳理念的东部华侨城景区建设探讨

低碳旅游是新形势下旅游可持续发展的重要方式,低碳景区的建设是低碳旅游发展的重要依托,也是必然趋势。文章探讨了低碳旅游与低碳景区的内涵与意义,以东部华侨城景区为例,分析了该景区的低碳旅游现状,从旅游企业的角度在低碳运营和低碳管理方面提出具体建议,以促进东部华侨城的低碳景区建设。     

The way of openness: Moral Sphere Theory,education, ethics,and classroom management

Noting the challenges of radical pluralism and uncertainty to ethics and education, the author describes, then explores Moral Sphere Theory (MST) developed by the philosopher Robert Kane and in relationship to insights drawn from American pragmatism. The argument is that MST offers fresh ways for thinking about education and the profound obligation of educators to support and sustain worthy forms of life.     

清末粤东地区书院到学堂的蜕变研究——以惠潮嘉师范学堂为例

在全国教育改制的大背景下,清末粤东旧式的韩山书院虽然几经周折,但最终从名实上完成了从书院到学堂的蜕变。今赖保存相对较为完整的清末《岭东日报》等报章与档案,得以揭示其清晰的演变脉络。惠潮嘉巡道褚成博于光绪三十年(1904)四月将道属的韩山书院改办为新式师范学堂,初名为"韩山师范学堂"或"潮州师范学堂",最终官方才定名为"广东省惠潮嘉官立初级师范学堂"。     

危险的民主--美国全球民主战略和"大中东"

美国外交战略的主要目标是领导世界、维护其霸权地位。美国以武力或“柔性”施压在中东地区推行美国式的民主而使得民主失去了原有意义,变成“危险的民主”。“适应型民主”对美国与阿拉伯世界都提出了要求,它的实施对中东的民主化进程与世界的和平与安全将是行之有效的。     

The Prague Spring Archive at the University of Texas at Austin

ABSTRACT

There is a noted lack of primary historical documents related to the Prague Spring, one of the key moments in the Cold War, available online. As such, there is a need for an online resource that presents these primary documents in their entirety, allowing researchers and the public to engage with these materials in a user-friendly, open access format. The Prague Spring Archive, a new project at The University of Texas at Austin, fills this gap. This article addresses the development, promotion, and future steps of the project.
