“What does Obama want of me?” Anxiety and Jade Helm 15

This article reclaims the concept of anxiety for rhetoric and demonstrates the usefulness of doing so by examining reactions to the Jade Helm 15 military training exercise. Following Lacan's recently translated seminar on Anxiety, the essay argues on behalf of a conceptualization of anxiety as a result of affective investments in a network of discourse rather than an individual feeling. This rearticulation of anxiety has implications for both rhetorical theory and criticism as well as practical responses to right-wing conspiracy theories such as those surrounding Jade Helm.

艾尔弗丽德.耶利内克的半自传体小说《钢琴教师》着力于探讨老科胡特女士和埃里卡的母女关系。在显性的“母女”关系之下隐藏着深层的“夫妻”关系。造成这一关系的根源,从精神分析角度来看,与埃里卡童年时期母亲的渎职和父亲的缺位有着密切的关系。     

弗洛姆爱的哲学思想及其成因探析

弗洛姆爱的哲学思想主要包含：爱是对人类存在问题的回答;爱是“给予”而不是“接受”;爱是一种态度;爱是一种实践等等。弗洛姆生活的社会背景、弗洛伊德的精神分析学说、法兰克福学派及其社会批判方式以及马克思的历史唯物主义原理及其异化理论都对这一思想的形成产生重大影响。弗洛姆爱的哲学思想,虽然是20世纪西方资本主义社会思想意识形态下的产物,但是弗洛姆反思爱的失落与危机,追寻真爱的过程对我们今天仍有重要的理论意义和实践意义。

Anton Ehrenzweig,the Artist Teacher and a Psychoanalytic Approach to School Art Education

In the 1960s Anton Ehrenzweig devised an experimental course for school art teachers based on his deep knowledge of British psychoanalytic theory, especially Melanie Klein’s ideas of projection and introjection. Ehrenzweig’s early advocacy for the idea of an artist teacher, which formed a key element of his Art Teachers Certificate course at Goldsmiths, could be seen as ahead of its time, anticipating some of the ideas and practices of the past couple of decades. However, his claim that good teachers use their pupils as a medium for the teacher’s own creativity raises ethical questions that still resonate today. In this article, I will draw out some comparisons between Ehrenzweig’s theories of creativity and art education, and recent writing on the artist teacher. I will consider ways in which Ehrenzweig’s development of Kleinian psychoanalytic theory can both complement and challenge current thinking about the merging and differentiation of artist, teacher and student identities.

文章主要探讨“《银幕》理论”中的“文本分析”方法。20世纪70年代,围绕英国电影理论杂志《银幕》发展起来的“《银幕》理论”整合五六十年代以来的前沿人文学科理论,发展了以左派意识形态-符号学-精神分析为框架的电影“文本分析”和电影精神分析方法,对现代电影理论影响很大;同时因其与以“伯明翰当代文化研究中心”为代表的英国文化研究复杂的理论交织、缠绕关系,今天梳理“《银幕》理论”对增进我们对文化研究的理解很有意义。     

对弗洛伊德无意识概念的再认识

弗洛伊德创立精神分析理论流派至今一百余年,其理论深奥复杂、难以理解,概念界定也比较模糊。“无意识”概念是其精神分析理论的核心和基石,也是学习精神分析的关键,但学习者较难把握。文章探讨了弗洛伊德无意识概念发展的三个阶段,即从最早的受抑观念论到受抑无意识论再到无须压抑的无意识论,再认识弗洛伊德无意识概念的发展历程,对学习和掌握精神分析理论至为重要。
