避免全开架借阅书库图书乱架现象的措施新探

通过对全开架借阅书库内产生图书乱架现象的分析,并与传统常用措施相比较,寻求避免图书乱架的有效措施,并阐述其使用方法及优点.     

Introduction: Intercultural Studies within Central States

The study of intercultural communication (IC) has a long history in the Central States Communication Association (CSCA). Some of the earliest work in IC has come from universities in the CSCA region, such as Indiana University (William Starosta) and University of Minnesota (Vernon Jensen and Rosita Albert). Since the inception of the Intercultural Communication Interest Group within CSCA in the early 1990s, IC scholars have contributed immensely to the discipline by studying different aspects of the relationship between communication and culture. Several active IC scholars present their recollections of the development of IC research in this issue.     

The discoverability of award-winning undergraduate research in history: Implications for academic libraries

Making scholarly information visible to web search engines is an ongoing challenge, and undergraduate research is no exception. Using a sample of award-winning undergraduate history papers and journals, the authors searched Google, Google Scholar, Microsoft Academic, and the authors' institutional repository to gauge the difficulty of locating these works. Given that many of these works were not easily found, results suggest that libraries and their institutions could be doing more to increase the discoverability of undergraduate research. Based on the success stories observed in this study, we offer strategies to libraries and librarians for increasing the visibility of undergraduate student research.     

“文史者,讥评文人之得失也”语源辨正

钱基博先生等在引用"《中兴艺文志》:‘文史者,讥评文人之得失也’"一语追溯文史之名的缘起时,将《中兴艺文志》认为是《中兴书目》,后为众多学者沿袭引用。另外,亦有学者将《中兴艺文志》认为是《中兴馆阁书目》或者《中兴馆阁艺文志》,然此三种说法皆非是。《文献通考》中所称的《中兴艺文志》实为《中兴国史艺文志》之简称,"文史者,所以讥评文人之得失也"一语应为《中兴艺文志》文史类小序中语。由于该书已佚,而《中兴馆阁书目》作为南宋官修书目较为著名,从而致后世学者误将二书混淆。
