Self-Regulated Learning in a TELE at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne: an analysis from multiple perspectives

Self-regulation has become a very important topic in the field of learning and instruction. At the same time, the introduction of new technologies in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) has made it possible to create rich Technology-Enhanced Learning Environments (TELEs) with multiple affordances for supporting self-regulated learning (SRL). This study was conducted within the framework of the TELEPEERS project where we wanted to identify TELEs that seemed to have a potential for supporting SRL. For the last ten years, our University has been deeply involved in research, innovation, and exploration of digital technologies for training (initial and continuous). Local, regional, national, European and international projects were conceived and developed, so that a very significant knowledge base exists today. Our study focuses on a course called 'Introduction to Algorithms and Programming' (NF01) which our University is offering and on the perception of different stakeholders (experts and students) of its affordances for supporting SRL.

Oral health beliefs and behavior among young adults in Appalachian Kentucky

We used communication infrastructure theory to investigate oral health beliefs and behavior among young adults in Appalachian Kentucky. We conducted 7 focus groups with 67 participants who reported poor oral health behavior, but this was not necessarily the result of poor oral health knowledge. Participants identified several sociocultural factors affecting their oral health, including lack of oral health prioritization among older generations, and risky health behaviors that competed with good oral health. These sociocultural factors create a context in which standard oral health recommendations are commonly seen as excessive. Participants described various responses to the poor oral health in the region, including fatalism and a distrust of dentists, and that oral healthcare professionals may be using potentially problematic communication tactics. Practical implications for designing effective oral health promotion campaigns in the region and theoretical implications for developing social-contextual frameworks of oral health promotion are discussed.     

我国团体标准网络特征及合作模式研究——基于ICT行业的分析

为寻找提升团体标准竞争力的途径,探索团标制定组织和标准制定参与单位两类参与主体的合作行为特点,在梳理团体标准制定相关方的基础上,构建了团体标准制定合作网络。通过全国团体标准信息平台获取相关数据,利用Ucinet 6软件进行分析。根据分析结果,将团标制定组织与参与单位之间的合作模式划分为合作共进模式、核心支撑模式、独立发展模式和项目推动模式四类模式。其中,合作共进模式的组织和参与单位之间呈现出良性互动的关系,在网络结构上占据重要的位置,是目前ICT领域团体标准发展中更具优势的组织模式。     

我国电子商务发展中面临的问题及解决措施

针对当今世界电子商务的快速发展给传统的商业领域带来的深刻变化，分析研究了我国的电子商务在发展过程中在安全、法律、基础设施等方面存在的一些问题。并针对这些问题的解决提出相应的解决措施。     

Risk acceptability and cost-effectiveness of protective measures against terrorist threats to built infrastructure considering multiple threat scenarios

Decisions are often needed about the need and/or extent of protective measures against explosive blast loads on built infrastructure. A decision support analysis considers fatality risks and cost-effectiveness of protective measures expressed in terms of expected cost spent on risk reduction per life saved for terrorist threats to infrastructure. The analysis is applicable to any item of infrastructure, but in this paper is applied to casualties arising from building facade glazing damage. Risks may be compared with risk acceptance criteria in the form of quantitative safety goals. The risk acceptability and cost-effectiveness of protective measures includes cost of the protective measures, attack probability,reduction in risk due to protective measures,probability of fatality conditional on successful terrorist attack and number of exposed individuals.

教学环境是开展成功教学的关键，在英国ICT教学环境中，更多注重资源的综合性开发与使用，人文关怀的成分比较浓厚，探究其教育环境的发展及其建设，有助于我们从中感悟ICT教学环境对教学的促进作用，对我国的ICT教学环境作一理性的思考，从中获取一点启示。     

动态联盟组件式信息系统的软件架构和模型研究

动态联盟是在新的全球经济竞争形式下，随着信息技术的飞速发展而逐渐形成的一种崭新的组织模式，其管理信息系统是联盟企业取得竞争优势的技术基础。本文提出了一种基于组件技术的动态联盟信息系统的软件构架，介绍了一个基于该软件架构的动态联盟信息系统模型，讨论了动态联盟组件式信息系统应用中的关键技术问题。
