The Design and Realization of Net Testing System on Campus Network

According to the requirement of modem teaching theory and technology, based on software engineering, database theory, the technique of net information security and system integration, a net testing system on local network was designed and realized. The system benefits for dividing of testing ＆ teaching and settles the problems of random testing paper. In this paper, system structure and main function, database designing, database programming and system integration and maintenance were introduced.

The Development of Consciousness Through the Supervision Process

The process of supervision can be regarded as an integrative process that enables the development of consciousness, since it helps counselors become aware of problems and search for ways of solving them. In this article the processes of supervision that lead towards growth and development of the professional and personal selves of an individual are examined. The process of supervision is related to several theoretical concepts that explain development in adulthood. Special emphasis is given to wisdom as a potential, natural stage of adult development, to the systemic or ‘construct aware’ stage of reasoning and to an attitude of self-questioning.     

The Great Media Debate and TPACK: A Multidisciplinary Examination of the Role of Technology in Teaching and Learning

This article bridges the fields of instructional design and teacher education, presenting and modernizing the media influence debate and synthesizing it with the technological pedagogical and content knowledge (TPACK) framework. Five modern technologies are presented as media comparison studies, analyzed from both the medium-as-variable and medium-and-method-as-variable perspectives, and highlighted in an example teaching and learning scenario analyzed for TPACK. The media debate is newly synthesized with TPACK, acknowledging the teacher as a critical variable in instructional success, and implications for research and teacher education and professional development are presented.

"1+X"证书制度是新型的国家资历框架制度,为了畅通技术技能人才成长通道,培养复合型高技术技能人才,确保职业教育人才培养质量,亟须解决当前职业院校实施"1+X"证书制度面临的现实困境,如证书与地方院校人才培养方案对接不畅、信效度偏低、"两证"融通度不够、专业匹配不足、"双师型"教师素质偏弱、教材教法适应不良、课证融通平台与渠道缺乏等。职业院校应通过多元主体参与、确保信效度、产教融合、加快课程建设、创新教师培养模式、改革教材教法、搭建"学分银行"等策略,确保"1+X"证书制度有效实施,实现以学生为中心,建立适合职业教育人才培养特点的评价制度和评价模式。     

英语合同语言的审美功能初探

语言有口语体、书面体。各体英语都有典型的表达方式和一定的美学价值。经济合同属法律文件，其语言使用的是庄重文体。它虽追求语言的准确、严谨、庄重，而非语言的美学色彩和审美效果，但从美学角度考虑，英语经济合同语言具有较高的审美价值，如语言形式上的单纯齐一、对称均衡、节奏鲜明以及多样统一等均与美学中形式美的规律相吻合。     

Teacher Candidates’ Perceived Learning in an International Exchange Program: An ICT Course Example

ABSTRACT

This article reports the perceived learning of a group of Chinese teacher candidates who audited an ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) literacy course while participating in an exchange programme between Southwest University in China and the University of Windsor in Canada. Data were collected through 1) reflective notes written by visiting students and 2) semi-structured interviews conducted with them towards the end of their visit. The majority of participants stated that the learning experience helped them to realise the important role theory plays in the learning of ICT and to seek ideas of how to creatively integrate ICT in their future classrooms. Participants with limited ICT knowledge and skills reported that by being exposed to various functions of frequently used programmes and many free software programmes, they felt more confident in using ICT in their own teaching. Furthermore, those with strong ICT backgrounds found that the course helped them to understand the relationship among ICT, society, and pedagogy. The teacher candidates’ perceived learning included aspects of culture and pedagogy in addition to ICT knowledge and skills. Coming to know in ways like this is critically important to international partnerships and foundational to reciprocal learning where each learns from the other.
