This study was intended to assess the effect of a psychoeducational computer‐assisted and paper‐and‐pencil training designed to empower visuospatial skills in students attending the second grade of the primary school. At pretest, posttest and at the subsequent 3‐months follow‐up, 44 Italian second graders were presented with a battery of tests assessing nonverbal problem solving, imagery, speed of processing, visuomotor coordination, and verbal working memory. After pretest, 22 pupils were trained by the psychoeducational intervention for 15 weekly sessions (Fastame & Antonini (2011). RECUPERO IN… abilità visuo‐spaziali [Recovery in… visuo‐spatial abilities]. Trento, Italy: Edizioni Erickson). Posttest scores and a follow‐up assessment conducted after 3 months by the end of the training documented the positive effect of the psychoeducational intervention in enhancing visuospatial functions of the experimental group. These outcomes were also replicated when a questionnaire assessing visuospatial efficacy was proposed to the teachers of the participants.  相似文献

在学习过程中,学习注意是保证学习者对知识信息进一步记忆与深入思考、学习真正发生的重要前提。当前的研究仍有在数字化学习资源画面设计中,对学习注意这一重要影响因素重视不足的问题。数字化学习资源画面色彩表征影响学习注意的“关系模型”,以及促进有效学习注意形成的色彩表征设计的“操作模型”,就是针对这一问题而提出的。“关系模型”提出了数字化学习资源画面色彩表征知识内容形态影响选择性学习注意,色彩表征知识关系形态影响持续性学习注意,色彩表征知识目标形态影响分配性学习注意等观点,并从中推衍出学习注意的“自动加工→序列加工→精细加工”的过程。“操作模型”从促进有效学习注意形成、优化数字化学习资源画面设计的研究视角,提出了“色彩编码设计形式”“色彩线索设计形式”和“色彩信号设计形式”等三种色彩表征设计形式,并通过对色彩表征设计流程的系统梳理,推导出“学习注意类型分析、色彩表征设计形式分析、色彩表征语义设计、色彩表征语用设计、色彩表征语构设计”的设计流程。对数字化学习资源画面的色彩表征设计,影响着学习注意的定位策略、匹配策略和管控策略,这为提升数字化学习效果提供了新思路。  相似文献

Three definitions of ``quality' have entered the qualityassurance (QA) debate: quality as value for money, quality as fitfor the purpose of the institution, quality as transforming. The firstis pivotal for retrospective QA, which sees QA in terms ofaccountability, and conforming to externally imposed standards. The lasttwo are pivotal for prospective QA, which sees QA asmaintaining and enhancing the quality of teaching and learning in theinstitution. In this paper, the reflective practitioner is taken as themodel for prospective QA. Three stages are involved in institutionalreflective practice: articulating an espoused theory of teaching, thequality model (QM); continually improving on current practicethrough quality enhancement (QE), in which staff development should playan important role; and making quality feasible (QF), by removingimpediments to good teaching, which often arise through distortedpriorities in institutional policy and procedures. The novel method of improving the quality metric of protein microarray image presented in this paper reduces impulse noise by using an adaptive median filter that employs the switching scheme based on local statistics characters; and achieves the impulse detection by using the difference between the standard deviation of the pixels within the filter window and the current pixel of concern. It also uses a top-hat filter to correct the background variation. In order to decrease time consumption, the top-hat filter core is cross structure. The experimental results showed that, for a protein microarray image contaminated by impulse noise and with slow background variation, the new method can significantly increase the signal-to-noise ratio, correct the trends in the background, and enhance the flatness of the background and the consistency of the signal intensity.  相似文献

Research on the facilitative effect of diagrams on solving mathematics problems is both inconsistent and inconclusive. This study investigates the effects of diagrams on 124 Singaporean pupils in three classes: Primary One and three, and Secondary One. Pupils' performance was measured with the use of teacher-written mathematics problems in the form of worksheets. Number of errors made on problems accompanied with and without diagrams were compared. Whether or not pupils benefit from diagrams was estimated by their patterns of errors made in the presence or absence of diagrams. Results both confirm and disconfirm previous findings and shed further light on the use of diagrams in mathematics.  相似文献
