浙南沿海地区成年人群体质与体育锻炼现状及对策研究

对浙江省南部沿海地区城市成年人群体质和体育锻炼现状进行分析,结果表明:浙南沿海地区城市成年人群体质总体水平高于全国平均水平,低于浙江省平均水平,女性好于男性.成年人群中高血压患病率为14.08%,男性患高血压病率高于女性、城市体力劳动者高于城市非体力劳动者(P＜0.01);城市老年人参与体育锻炼的比例较高,然而体质状况不理想,主要原因是缺乏科学的锻炼指导.通过调查分析,为浙江南部沿海经济发达地区全民健身计划的实施提供科学依据和发展对策.     

惠州市成年人身体形态特征研究

采取随机抽样法对年龄为20～59岁的惠州市城乡1809人进行了5项形态指标测试,提供了群众体质健康比较数据。同时对测试结果进行了城乡比较,对不同年龄段人的身高、体重、胸围、腰围、臀围各种指数及其派生指数的变化趋势进行了比较分析。结果显示,惠州市成年人身高比全国成年人低,农村成年人平均身高更低,克托莱指数也均比全国平均数低。惠州市男性腰臀比及男性城市非体力劳动者的体重、体重指数有随年龄增大的趋势。     

What movie advisory boards say about the cinematic representations of love among older adults

Love and romance in later life as a field of investigation has gained a notable place among academic circles in recent years, with attention mainly directed to the portrayal of older characters’ sexuality in movies. In this article, we examine the ways four movie advisory boards, the social entities responsible for setting age limits on movie admissions and presenting their justifications, investigated movies considered by the American Association of Retired Persons as Best Grownup Love Story films. It was found that the American and British movie advisory boards regulate age admissions more strictly for these movies in comparison to their counterparts in Australia and New Zealand. Yet all boards share the same concerns, namely, attaching warnings that these movies are heavy in profanity and sexuality.

This directs attention to the potential contribution of movie advisory boards in the construction of representations of older adults.     

开放教育模式下成人外语学习者的自主学习策略研究

开放教育模式下的成人外语学习是基于自主学习为主、多种媒体辅助、面授教师点拨的一种全新的学习模式。因此文章指出,成人学习者的外语自主学习策略的形成必须从增强学生的自主学习意识出发,逐步养成学习者的自主学习习惯,利用教师的面授、合作学习小组和多种媒体资源,创设宽松、民主、平等、和谐的学习环境,激励、启发、引导学生内在的教育需求,使学习者充分发挥自我教育潜能,成为成功的外语学习者。     

Lifelong learning policies and young adults: Considerations from two Italian case studies

ABSTRACT

The article focuses on social vulnerability and how Lifelong Learning (LLL) policies tackle it. Two Italian case studies on local LLL measures within Italian Youth Guarantee (YG) scheme are discussed: Civic Service in Genoa and NEETwork Project in Milan. The aim is to investigate how such measures shape the life courses of young adults in vulnerable conditions. Examining whether their support of the school–work transitions meets the youths’ needs, accounting for the different contexts and the individual resources and shortcomings. Similarities and differences between the two case studies are discussed, focusing on policies’ governance and concept of vulnerability applied to young adults. A conceptualisation of the vulnerability as a process developing over the young adults’ life course trajectories is presented. Conceiving it in a multidimensional way, discussing the interplay between the individual resources, and contextual factors in emerging ‘vulnerable conditions’ of young adults. Then, the article proposes possible interpretations of the ways in which young adults relate to and cope with LLL policies, according to the Merton’s strain theory, outlining different strategies of adaptation in uncertain biographies. The risk to increase social exclusion and inequalities is discussed as an unintended effect of LLL policies.     

听障成人汉语唇读理解能力的发展研究

为了从年龄、性别和语言级别三方面探讨听障成人汉语唇读理解能力的发展趋势,研究以听障成人为被试,以汉字、词语、语句为实验材料,采用视频-图片匹配范式,测量不同年龄、不同性别被试汉语唇读理解的正确率与反应时。结果发现:(1)听障青年人的汉语唇读理解正确率显著高于听障中年人与老年人;反应速度由快到慢依次是听障青年人、听障中年人与听障老年人。(2)听障女性与听障男性的汉语唇读理解正确率与反应时无显著性差异。(3)听障成人汉语唇读理解词语的正确率显著高于语句和汉字;语言级别的反应速度由快到慢依次为词语、汉字、语句。研究结果表明:听障成人的汉语唇读理解能力有年龄差异,表现为随着年龄的增长而下降;无性别差异;听障成人具有汉语唇读理解词语优势。     

关于高校成人教育新模式的探索

为了适应当前社会的发展,普通高校成人教育应大力进行改革。首先,建立体现“宽专业、多方向、大类招生、大类培养”的新的培养模式;其次,还应改革教学管理体制,作为传统教育向素质教育发展的一种新型的教学管理制度,学分制尤其能发挥其作用。     

Decolonising dominant knowledge constructions in the education of immigrant youth in Canada

ABSTRACT

This paper examines the dominant knowledge construction in Canadian public schools. Using the grounded theory approach, thirty-six Chinese Canadian youths and young adults were interviewed in Alberta. Drawing on critical, anticolonial and Bourdieusian perspectives, I argue that some teachers’ racialised habitus and biased knowledge constructions devalued the indigenous knowledges that immigrant youth bring to the classroom. Moreover, they reproduced anti-immigrant discourses and reinforced racial hierarchies in Canadian society. As a consequence, they negatively affect the identity construction of immigrant descendants and undermine their attempts to negotiate a sense of belonging in Canada. I argue that decolonising dominant knowledge constructions requires challenging teachers’ racialised habitus in teaching and their interactions with immigrant students.     

Job satisfaction and temperament structure of gifted people

This article focuses on the problems of adults who in secondary school were high ability learners. The main point of interest of the research presented here is job satisfaction among gifted people and their temperament structure. The authors are interested whether there exist correlations between the investigated variables both in the entire group of gifted individuals as well as in the subgroup of those gifted in the humanities and in the control group. The research results show that between the group of gifted people and the control group there appear significant differences in vigorousness (VG) and activity (AC). The studied groups differ as to the kind and extent of the fulfilment of expectations concerning professional career. Gifted individuals, in comparison to the control group, are more satisfied with their jobs.
