Protein Dynamical Structure Revealed by Temperature-jump Time-resolved Infrared Spectroscopy

<正>Protein could carry out its biological function only when it is folded into the right conformation,and the conformation might be changing during the activation process,therefore protein dynamical structure provides a key clue to understand its function.Although many protein static structures have been resolved by X-ray crystallography,2D NM and cryoelectron microscope at atomic level,the static structure could be different from the dynamical structure,especially under physiological condition.In their continuous effort to study the protein dynamical structure with temperature-jump time-resolved infrared spectroscopy(Biophys.J.2007,93,2756–2766;Biophys.J.2009,97,2756–2766),a team lead by Prof.WENG Yuxiang from the Institute of Physics(IOP),Chinese Academy of Sciences recently collaborated with Prof.CHANG Zengyi’s     

Thermographic study of the illuminations of a 15th century antiphonary

In this paper, we present an application of the infrared thermography to the study of illuminations. In particular, we analyze a 15th century antiphonary from the Biblioteca Angelica of Rome to characterize the conservation state and the structure of the illuminations on the occasion of its planned restoration. We show the results achieved from the stratigraphic investigation of the gilded surface, the parchment substrate and the underdrawing. The obtained information have been, then, used to direct the necessary restoration steps and also to assess the effectiveness of the treatments by a comparative analysis of the thermograms recorded before and after the restoration.     

A qualitative method for combining thermal imprints to emerging weak points of ancient wall structures by passive infrared thermography – A case study

The significant number of buildings constructed in the world before the appearance of compulsory earthquake projecting norms, as well as the subsequent construction in the safe seismic zones, requires a constant re-evaluation of the strength of the structures. For example, the 2009 earthquake happened in L’Aquila city (Italy), killed about 300 people. Furthermore, many old buildings, seriously damaged, were considered as historical monuments and their importance is still critical both from a cultural standpoint and for the city itself. On the basis of the surveys carried out by the Las.e.r. Laboratory (university of L’Aquila) before and after 2009 earthquake, this paper introduces the infrared thermography (IRT) as a mean to characterize particular thermal imprints that appear on ancient facades, employing the passive thermography, discussing the infrared images collected during several years, and analyzing their relationship with all kinds of influence factors, in order to validate the effectiveness of the technique and its role in preventive diagnosis.

基于单片机的语音遥控硬件系统设计

红外线遥控就是利用红外线传递控制信号,实现对控制对象的远距离控制。系统以AT89S52单片机为核心控制器实现红外线遥控语音录放功能,主要由红外发射部分、红外接收及单片机控制部分、液晶显示部分和语音录放部分组成,并且提供红外线遥控和近距离机械按键两种系统操作方式,同时带有实时显示系统工作状态的液晶显示功能,能实现对音频信号进行高保真度的录放过程。     

红外热成像技术在大型电站中的应用

红外热成像技术是一种非接触无损检测的故障诊断技术,它能及时发现和诊断运行电力设备的事故隐患和故障先兆,减少了设备的强迫停运次数,为电力系统的安全稳定运行提供了有力保障。本文通过介绍红外热成像技术在二滩水电站的成功应用案例,分析红外红外热成像测试的影响因素及该技术在应用过程中发现的一些问题及解决方法,为此项技术在其他大型电站电气设备的运行维护工作中的推广和应用提供参考。     

食用植物油中掺假的鉴别和分析方法的研究

采用皂化法、荧光法、色谱法以及红外光谱法对食用油中掺入矿物油的鉴别、分离和分析方法进行了研究,方法具有样品用量小、快速、准确度高的特点,适用于食用油中是否掺加工业矿物油的分析.     

IR study on surface chemical properties of catalytic grown carbon nanotubes and nanofibers

In this study, the surface chemical properties of carbon nanotubes （CNTs） and carbon nanofibers （CNFs） grown by catalytic decomposition of methane on nickel and cobalt based catalysts were studied by DRIFT （Diffuse Reflectance Infrared Fourier Transform） and transmission Infrared （IR） spectroscopy. The results show that the surface exists not only carbon-hydrogen groups, but also carboxyl, ketene or quinone （carbonyl） oxygen-containing groups. These functional groups were formed in the process of the material growth, which result in large amount of chemical defect sites on the walls.

合成了3种新的磺酰化氨基酸正丁基锡配合物[n-BuSn(O)(RCOO)]6利用IR^1HNMR表征了它们的结构，结果表明，磺酰化氨基酸均以双齿形式与锡原子配位的。     

Solvent effects on infrared spectra of 2-Methyl-4,5-dimethoxy-3-oxo-2H-pyridizine: Part 2. Binary solvent systems

This research on the solvent effects of 2-methyl-4,5-dimethoxy-3-oxo-2H-pyridizine (MDOP) in binary solvent systems on the infrared spectra for MDOP in n-hexane/CHCl₃ mixture solvents showed that there were three forms of carbonyl stretching vibration band [ν(C=O)] of MPOP as the mole fraction of CHCl₃ in the binary solvents changes. In pure n-hexane solvent, the ν(C=O) of MDOP appeared at a relatively high wavenumber. With CHCl₃ added, the ν(C=O) shifted to lower wavenumbers. Two new bands were observed over a certain range of mixture solvent compositions. The origin of the bands was discussed in the terms of two kinds of hydrogen bond together with their individual dependence on mixture composition. Comparisons were drawn for the solvent sensitivities of ν(C=O) for propanone. Project supported by the Analysis and Measurement Foundation of Zhejiang Province, China.
