Collapse analysis of imperfect subsea pipelines based on 2D high-order nonlinear model

To study the collapse of imperfect subsea pipelinos, a 2D high-order nonlinear model is developed. In this model, the large deformation of the pipes is considered by raiaining the high-order nonlinear terms of strain. In addi-tion, the J2 plastic flow theory is adopted to describe the elasioplastic constitutive relations of material. The quasi-static process of collapse is analyzed by the increment method. For each load step, the equations based on the principle of virtual work are presented and solved by the discrete Newton＇s method. Furthermore, finite element simulations and full-scale experiments were preformed to validate the results of the model. Research on the major influencing factors of collapse pressure, including D/t, material type and initial ovality, is also presented.     

从《今词初集》看“独抒性灵”的纳兰词

《今词初集》是清初一部极具特色的词选,其中收录了编者纳兰性德17首词作,是单个作家选词比重最大的。所选录的词作体现了纳兰"独抒性灵"的词学观念。另外,选词中还有典故的大量运用,这种看似矛盾的创作手法实际上也是与纳兰词学观相统一的,是纳兰调和理论观念与创作实践冲突的体现。纳兰词"自然"的美学传统渊源有自,消融了清初词派的隔阂,而纳兰词主"情"的特点也对清代词坛的创作起到了补弊纠偏的作用。     

语言的不完备性及其补救策略

语言的不完备性是语言的特性之一,表现在语言的线性、离散性、歧义性、疏略性、不够用性和不确定性。语言的不完备性不能从语言内部被克服,只能从语言的内部和外部进行补救。本文从语言自身的发展和人类一般认知的角度分析自然语言不完备性的补救策略,包括与人类认知能力相关的概念范畴理论、完型认知理论、通感认知手段、隐喻认知观、认知推理观几方面。     

‘My colleagues wear blinkers . . . If they were trained,they would understand better’. Reflections on teacher education on inclusion in Cyprus

This paper discusses fundamental theoretical issues in relation to education on inclusion. These issues inform core decisions about initial teacher education courses and in‐service teacher‐training programmes on inclusion. International and local discussions and research in this area formed the background for the design and implementation of a 2‐year funded research project whose aim was to record teachers' knowledge, attitudes and skills in relation to inclusion before developing an in‐service training programme that suited their profiles. The paper focuses on Greek‐Cypriot teachers' perceptions of their initial and in‐service teacher education on inclusion in Cyprus, as revealed by survey and interview findings. The findings are discussed with reference to relevant literature from Cyprus and other countries in an attempt to draw connections between teacher education, local culture and international practice. The paper concludes with a discussion of the argument that in‐service training programmes on inclusion are of central importance, not only for Cyprus but also for other countries. We argue that teachers' initial education does not guarantee a shared understanding of inclusive education; therefore, in‐service teacher‐training programmes need to be carefully planned and delivered to all schoolteachers to address both theoretical and practical aspects of inclusive education effectively.

The challenge of shaping socially responsible teachers*

It has been vigorously argued over decades that trainee teachers hold entrenched, stereotypical attitudes and beliefs about diverse groups of pupils. These assumptions have been shown to create discriminatory teaching practice which affects the educational attainment of pupils as young as five. This article reports on a study of the complex issues involved in challenging trainee teacher assumptions in an attempt to address the cycle of perpetuating stereotypes. The study was carried out within the context of Initial Teacher Training during a 10-month primary PGCE programme at an English university. The professional reflections of a participant sample of trainee teachers were analysed to ascertain the participants’ awareness of their own socio-cultural beliefs and assumptions and how the variety of instructional pedagogies supported or inhibited their examination of those beliefs. The findings provide implications for all teacher training programmes that attempt to ensure educational equality for children.
