对我国花样轮滑存在问题的认识——参加2007年国际花样轮滑运动培训班有感

通过参加2007年国际花样轮滑教练员、裁判员培训班,借鉴国外的先进经验,经过对比分析指出我国花样轮滑选手在技术和动作规范程度以及观念意识等方面存在的问题,希望引起教练员、运动员和管理人员的重视,为提高我国花样轮滑水平提供参考,为花样轮滑尽早成为奥运项目做好积极准备。     

关于教育技术之技术理性的思考

人们对新技术的过分热衷和盲目追求导致了在教育技术领域中出现了"以技术为中心"的片面的技术理性取向,具体表现为工具理性的过分张扬和对价值理性的遮蔽。工具理性占据上风会导致教育技术的发展误入歧途,教育技术需要大力倡导价值理性,使技术理性回到教育的本质上来,同时也需要与科学理性相结合的技术理性。     

“新体系”下高师音乐教育声乐重唱实验课程探索

针对当前高师校音乐教育专业声乐课存在的问题,结合音乐教育"新体系"的导向思想,在高师校音乐声乐重唱课程改进中有3个要点:首先是音乐教育教学模式应体现出自身(师范性)的特点,声乐教师明确教学目标为培养音乐教师;其次是音乐工作者应注重优秀重唱教材的编写和创作;再次是音乐教育者应重视重唱师资的培养以推动重唱课程的开展。     

民族器乐作品的解读与欣赏

文章针对高校民族器乐专业课在教学中重视技法练习而忽视人文诠释的普遍现状,以音乐形态学、音乐美学原理为主导,结合自身的教学经验,对器乐教学中作品解读、审美引导、人性与文化等环节展开论述,并提出了一些有益的建议.     

The private returns to education in rural Bangladesh

This study estimates the private average rate of return (ARR) and internal rate of return (IRR) to education in rural Bangladesh. Using data from the Bangladesh Integrated Household Survey (BIHS) 2015, we estimate average returns using the Mincerian method and IRR using the full method, accounting for both the direct and indirect costs of schooling. To account for endogeneity and selection bias, we use parental education as an instrumental variable and apply the Heckman correction method. We find an average return of 18 %, an IRR of 12 % for tertiary education, 4.86 % for secondary, and 5.24 % for primary. In the agricultural sector specifically, however, returns to tertiary education are more in line with primary and secondary education.     

The Effects of Sex and Gender Role Orientation on Approach-Based Coping Strategies Across Cultures: A Moderated Mediation Model

This study explores the mediation effect of gender role orientation on the influence of sex on coping strategies and how the mediation effects differ across the two cultures of the United States and China. A total of 478 respondents (243 Americans and 235 resident Chinese) participated in this study. Employing Hayes’ (2013) PROCESS for testing moderated mediation models using conditional process analysis, we found that femininity mediated the influence of sex on both emotional and instrumental coping, and the mediation effects were significantly different between American participants and Chinese participants. We also found that national culture moderated the influence of sex on coping strategies when gender role orientation was being held constant. This study adopts an integrated model of sex, gender role orientation, culture, and coping. This model allows us to examine both general and specific relationships among interested variables, which contributes to existing literature in several ways.     

Smoking, discount rates, and returns to education

Individual time preference determines schooling enrolment. Moreover, smoking behavior in early ages has been shown to be highly related to time preference rates. Insofar as discount rates are uncorrelated to ability, predicting school enrolment by discount rates can get rid of the ability bias in an earnings regression. Accordingly, we use smoking at age 16 as an instrument for schooling. Doing this for Austrian cross-sectional data, we find no evidence of ability bias in a simple earnings regression; the results are more mixed if family background is also included.
