Cyberbullying and threats of Internet predators, not to mention the enduring consequences of postings, may lead to dangerous, unspeakable consequences. Cyberbullying and threats of Internet predators through social networking sites and instant messaging programs are initiating numerous problems for parents, school administrators, and law enforcement on a national level (McKenna 2007 McKenna, P. 2007. The rise of cyberbullying. New Scientist, 195(2613): 2627.  [Google Scholar], 60). A 34 item survey was developed to assess Knowledge of appropriate behavior on social networking sites (alpha = .84), Bullying Behavior (alpha = .72), and Internet Use (alpha = .78) of social networking sites for N = 588 grade 7–8 students from an urban and a suburban school. Implications for educators and parents regarding Cyberbullying and Internet Predators are discussed.  相似文献

The present article highlights teacher paraphrasing, a response habit that can hinder student problem solving, authentic classroom dialogue, and promotion of a democratic classroom. Specifically, it discusses reasons teachers may have for paraphrasing student comments, along with potential impediments for student learning. Alternative response behaviors are proposed for encouraging student discussion, creativity, and self-evaluation: listening, wait-time, nonverbal behaviors, acknowledgment, asking for elaboration, and using student ideas.  相似文献

以成都裂隙性黏土为对象,进行一系列室内试验,探讨了成都裂隙性黏土的流变特性。通过三轴固结不排水蠕变试验,得到不同围压下各级偏应力水平的全过程蠕变曲线和应力—应变等时曲线,对试验结果做了讨论,并建立了蠕变方程。其中应变—时间关系采用伯格斯模型,应力—应变关系采用指数函数的蠕变方程,拟和曲线与试验曲线很好的吻合,较好地表达了土体的应力—应变—时间关系。  相似文献

本研究通过对411名高中生进行了团体问卷调查,探讨了各类教师课堂教学行为对学生课堂参与行为的影响。结果发现:①教师的积极教学行为对学生课堂参与有显著的预测作用,其中教学技能、支持帮助维度预测力最大;②教师教学行为对不同学习效能感水平学生的课堂参与作用不同。低效能感学生的课堂参与受教师的消极教学行为尤其是不公平行为的负性影响更多,受教师积极教学行为的积极影响较少。  相似文献

依据心理动力定型理论,以现实生活中的画家蒙克精神分裂后仍能创作出《呐喊》、凡高精神失常后仍能创作出《星月夜》这样的旷世杰作为佐证,对鲁迅小说中的“狂人”、张洁笔下的金乃文和余华塑造的“疯子”的悖逆表现作出科学的合理的解释。这些文学形象,“疯”前的大脑皮层对一定的复合刺激物形成完整的自动化的反射系统,“疯”后一旦受到某种刺激,引起条件反射,能将沉于心底深处的认识(知识)下意识地自动化般翻腾出来,从而使这种人虽疯了,但能在各自所从事工作的领域中创造出奇迹来。  相似文献

Recent developments in self-determination theory research in the educational setting (e.g., Reeve, Deci, & Ryan, 2004), suggest that teachers’ interpersonal style should be considered as consisting of three dimensions: autonomy support, structure and interpersonal involvement. Based on this theoretical proposition, the purpose of the present study was to test the effects of a training program for three physical education newly qualified teachers on the aforementioned teachers’ overt behaviors and students’ psychological needs satisfaction, self-determined motivation and engagement in sport-based physical education. After a baseline period of four lessons, the teachers attended an informational session on adaptive student motivation and how to support it. The training program also included individualized guidance during the last four lessons of the cycle. Results revealed that from pre- to post-intervention: (1) teachers managed to improve their teaching style in terms of all three dimensions, and (2) students were receptive to these changes, as shown by increases in their reported need satisfaction, self-determined motivation and engagement in the class.  相似文献

Bed expansion behavior and sensitivity analysis for super-high-rate anaerobic bioreactor (SAB) were performed based on bed expansion ratio (E), maximum bed sludge content (Vpmax), and maximum bed contact time between sludge and liquid (τmax). Bed expansion behavior models were established under bed unfluidization, fluidization, and transportation states. Under unfluidization state, E was 0, Vpmax was 4 867 ml, and τmax was 844–3 800 s. Under fluidization state, E, Vpmax, and τmax were 5.28%–255.69%, 1 368–4 559 ml, and 104–732 s, respectively. Under transportation state, washout of granular sludge occurred and destabilized the SAB. During stable running of SAB under fluidization state, E correlated positively with superficial gas and liquid velocities (ug and ul), while Vpmax and τmax correlated negatively. For E and Vpmax, the sensitivities of ug and ul were close to each other, while for τmax, the sensitivity of ul was greater than that of ug. The prediction from these models was a close match to the experimental data.  相似文献
