概念隐喻理论对商务英语词汇教学的启示

认知语言学认为隐喻不仅是一种语言现象,而且也是一种思维方式。隐喻能力的培养对学习语言有明显的促进作用,因此本文以概念隐喻理论为基础,探讨了商务英语词汇教学方法,包括:准确把握词汇隐含义,利用概念隐喻将词汇分类记忆和了解词汇的文化内涵差异。     

浅析英语文化教学的环境创设

语言是文化的载体,语言又是文化的一部分.文化教学是英语教学的重要组成部分.语言教学与环境有着密切的关系,英语教学缺少真实、地道的英语环境,在英语文化教学中要积极创设环境,提高文化教学的针对性和有效性,培养学生的文化意识和跨文化交际能力.     

本三院校CET4后大学英语教学现状以及后续课程设置研究——以宿迁学院为例

大学英语四级后的教学到底该如何进行一直是困扰大学英语教师的一个问题。本文从一项对宿迁学院学生的问卷调查入手,对四级后学生的学习现状进行了调查分析。从后续课程设置角度看,目前的四级后大学英语教学己经不能很好的满足学生的学习需求。而多样化的四级后续课程设置既能满足学生的学习需求,也能很大程度上提高学生的语言应用能力。     

非英语专业高职生英语语用能力石化现象初探

对非英语专业高职生的英语语用能力进行分年级的横向和纵向量化研究,结果显示,我国非英语专业高职生在一定程度上存在着英语语用能力石化现象。造成语用能力石化现象的主要原因是母语干扰与目的语文化知识的匮乏等因素。对此,笔者从高职英语教学的角度提出了应对非英语专业高职生英语语用能力石化现象的一些设想。     

Challenges to Brand Australia: international students and the problem with speaking

Although communication skills in English are important for both their career prospects and the success of their overall study experience, many international students find their spoken English a barrier to employment after graduation. In this paper, we draw on longitudinal interview data from international postgraduates to investigate the individual and social factors that impacted on the development of their speaking skills as they studied in Australia. Our findings suggest that, despite high levels of motivation to improve, they received little instruction in such skills on their English for Academic Purposes programs and had little access to them in the community. We argue that for compelling moral as well as economic reasons universities urgently need to address these issues through both instruction and social integration initiatives if they are to safeguard their lucrative but vulnerable overseas markets.     

论外语课程的文化回应性教学

本文认为,当前外语课程教学在文化教育方面存在着片面强调语言知识教学,忽视中西方文化背景、文化价值观导入、缺乏文化理解力培养的局限性。语言与文化具有发生学的关系,语言是文化的载体,文化的任何内容都可通过语言来反映。外语教学中要注重文化背景、文化价值观念、文化差异的导入,以培养学生的跨文化交际能力和文化理解力。文化回应是基于语言学立场与文化立场整合的外语教学策略。     

全数字化语言实验室系统环境下的医学英语教学研究

为了将全数字化语言实验室系统（Newclass）应用于医学英语教学研究,探求构建全新教学模式,以改善低效的教学现状。挑选了实验班与对照班各62人。全数字化语言实验室系统环境下进行医学英语教学,能够提高学生的语言应用能力（听说、词汇、摘要写作）与自主学习能力,但对阅读理解能力提高并不显著。     

论高职计算机公共课综合教学改革

高职计算机公共课传统学科式教学都存在较多问题,迫切需要综合教学改革。高职计算机公共课分模块基于工作过程的教学,是综合改革的方向。本文剖析了这两种教学模式的优缺点,并介绍了1＋x基于工作过程分模块的计算机公共课教学改革设计方案和具体实施方案。     

Cultural Background Knowledge and English Teaching

Culture background knowledge in English teaching arose in eighties of the twentieth century. It has been closely linked with the reformation and open in China. With the increase of exchange between China and English speaking countries resulting from the reform and opening policy to the outside world, people have come to find that due to the lack of profound knowledge of the culture of the English speaking, "cultural shock"or "cultural conflict" often arises when Chinese people communicate with Westerners, which leads to the realization that the pure-linguistic centered English teaching form cannot meet the demands of the social development any longer. Culture teaching must be introduced into English teaching in order to learn English language well and communicate well.This essay explains the importance of the cultural background knowledge teaching through analyzing the relationship of the language and culture as well as communicating barrier caused by the cultural differences, and it also submits falsifiable suggestions about how to introduce background knowledge into English teaching.     

构式语法与大学英语教学方法创新

构式语法是基于认知语言学理论而建立的理论体系。其要点就是＂构式是形式和语义的匹配。构式的意义独立于句中词语的意义而存在＂。本文在简要介绍构式语法的基础上探讨了构式语法研究在英语教学及语言习得中的指导作用,旨在探索英语教学的新方法,提高英语教学水平。
