Previous research in the association between network centrality and job satisfaction has not established a consistent relationship between the two. Considering a specific type of network and multiple measures of centrality may clarify this relationship. Thus, the current study examined the association between various types of centrality in workplace friendship networks and job satisfaction in a Korean construction company. Friendship network centrality measured as closeness was positively related to job satisfaction. However, friendship centrality measured as betweenness and degree was not related to job satisfaction. The results suggest that distinguishing among measures of centrality and network type is vital for future research.  相似文献

This study investigates the extent to which the skills and proficiencies mentioned in ACRL's Standards for Proficiencies for Instruction Librarians and Coordinators are represented in a current sample of instruction librarian job advertisements. Advertisements from U.S. academic institutions posted on the American Library Association's JobLIST site were collected over a period of six months. Results from a content analysis of these advertisements as compared to the Standards reveal trends in those skills which are in-demand. These results add support for the importance of collaboration, instructional design, leadership, and subject expertise as they relate to instruction and demonstrate that not all skills identified as crucial for instruction librarians within the Standards are typically indicated within the content of a job advertisement. This research will be of interest to library science students, job seekers, LIS faculty, and employers hoping to attract qualified candidates to fill library instruction-related positions.  相似文献

Branch libraries are considered important for effective public library service to large communities. This study was aimed at investigating the administration of branch libraries in a developing country, Nigeria. A pretested mail questionnaire was used for data collection. Usable responses were received from twelve state public library services which had 66 branch libraries. The branch libraries were inadequate for the populations they were meant to serve. They were poorly funded and staffed, and had small collections. Though efforts were made to reflect the interests and needs of the branch libraries in book selection and other aspects, heads of branch libraries had inadequate administrative powers for efficient management of their units.  相似文献

提出了应用于蓝牙射频前端的跳频频率综合器的设计方案,并介绍了关键模块压控振荡器与双模预分频器的设计技术,采用混合0.18 μm CMOS工艺进行了流片验证.设计的压控振荡器性能稳定,低功耗低相噪,频率在2.4 GHz时测试相位噪声达-114.32 dBc/Hz@2.4 MHz.对双模分频器进行了设计优化,并采用一种集成"或"逻辑的锁存器结构,降低了功耗,提高了电路速度.测试结果显示电路在1.8 V时稳定工作双模分频器核心功耗仅5.76 mW;均方差抖动在输出周期为118.3 MHz时仅为2 ps,约占输出周期的0.02%.  相似文献

本研究以企业中层管理人员为对象,通过构建工作绩效评定量表,对工作绩效的结构进行了探讨。探索性因素分析表明,工作绩效在结构上可以区分为四个因素:任务绩效、人际绩效、适应绩效和努力绩效;相关分析和多元回归分析表明,构建的量表具有良好的信度和效度。重新采集样本后,经验证性因素分析,发现四因素结构模型有最佳的拟合,从而确认了工作绩效的四因素结构模型。  相似文献

为探讨大四学生认知风格与择业效能感关系,采用镶嵌图形测验和择业效能感问卷对重庆市与黑龙江省两所高校227名大四学生进行调查。结果发现:(1)大学四年级学生在认知风格上有显著的性别与专业差异;(2)大学四年级学生在择业效能感有显著的性别差异,在专业性质上没有显著的差异;(3)不同认知风格类型的大学生的择业效能感差异不显著,认知风格与择业效能感的相关不显著。  相似文献

This article compares individuals already in teaching and non-teaching teacher graduates, and explores the motivation to pursue a teaching job based on job motives and work values. From the response of 241 recently graduated teachers it may be concluded that teachers consider intrinsic, altruistic and interpersonal features as strong job-specific motivators. Furthermore, teachers prefer altruistic and interpersonal work values, while non-teachers are more attracted by individualistic work values such as career opportunities and executive power.  相似文献
