Automatically extracting sheet-metal features from solid model

With the development of modern industry,sheet-metal parts in mass production have been widely applied in mechanical,communication,electronics,and light industries in recent decades; but the advances in sheet-metal part design and manufacturing remain too slow compared with the increasing importance of sheet-metal parts in modern industry. This paper proposes a method for automatically extracting features from an arbitrary solid model of sheet-metal parts; whose characteristics are used for classification and graph-based representation of the sheet-metal features to extract the features embodied in a sheet-metal part. The extracting feature process can be divided for valid checking of the model geometry,feature matching,and feature relationship. Since the extracted features include abundant geometry and engineering information,they will be effective for downstream application such as feature rebuilding and stamping process planning.     

学前儿童情绪表征认知发展的实验研究

通过故事叙述并辅以图片展示的形式，考察了72名3～5岁儿童理解人的外在情绪表现与其内在心理状态的关系。结果显示：3～5岁儿童对外在情绪表现与内在心理体验间关系的理解没有年龄差异，都还没有真正把握外在情绪表现和内在心理体验复杂关系的实质；3～5岁儿童对复杂性不同的外在情绪表征与内在心理感受不一致的情境的认识也不同，3～5岁儿童对情绪表征问题的理解性别差异不显著。     

虚拟环境下知识熔合的产品建模

Following researches on the knowledge-based product design, product modeling based on knowledge fusion is studied in a virtual environment. Knowledge fusion is the energy sources of product innovation designs. Because a knowledge representafon method is the main content of knowledge fusion, production rule way, semantic network, predicate, object-oriented and case-based representations are discussed. Using agents with object-oriented method, the knowledge can be represented as a set. The product knowledge set is divided into two subset: text knowledge and knowledge of engineering graphics that is a different form. Manipulation of the subset knowledge and fusion method is described. The paper also describes a six-tuple function in an agent data structure. A virtual environment computation model is proposed, and a practical example given.

Using an interactive platform to recognize the intersection of social and spatial inequalities

With the creation of interactive tasks that allow students to explore spatial ways of knowing in conjunction with their other ways of knowing the world, we create a space where students can make sense of information as they organize these new ideas into their already existing schema. Through the use of a Common Online Data Analysis Platform (CODAP) and data from Public Use Microdata Areas (PUMA), students can explore the communities in which they live and work, critically examining opportunities and challenges within a defined space.

Increasing diverse author representation within medical librarianship scholarship among BIPOC information professionals is an important endeavor that requires closer examination. This commentary looks to examine the ways in which the profession can support Latinx librarians and library workers in fully participating within the scholarly pipeline by exploring our unique and authentic voices, structural barriers, hesitation and fears, Whiteness in the profession and knowledge production, bias in the peer review process, lack of resources and support, and finally, a call to action.     

Unifying knowledge iterative dissemination and relational reconstruction network for image–text matching

Image–text matching is a crucial branch in multimedia retrieval which relies on learning inter-modal correspondences. Most existing methods focus on global or local correspondence and fail to explore fine-grained global–local alignment. Moreover, the issue of how to infer more accurate similarity scores remains unresolved. In this study, we propose a novel unifying knowledge iterative dissemination and relational reconstruction (KIDRR) network for image–text matching. Particularly, the knowledge graph iterative dissemination module is designed to iteratively broadcast global semantic knowledge, enabling relevant nodes to be associated, resulting in fine-grained intra-modal correlations and features. Hence, vector-based similarity representations are learned from multiple perspectives to model multi-level alignments comprehensively. The relation graph reconstruction module is further developed to enhance cross-modal correspondences by constructing similarity relation graphs and adaptively reconstructing them. We conducted experiments on the datasets Flickr30K and MSCOCO, which have 31,783 and 123,287 images, respectively. Experiments show that KIDRR achieves improvements of nearly 2.2% and 1.6% relative to Recall@1 on Flicr30K and MSCOCO, respectively, compared to the current state-of-the-art baselines.     

‘The Product of the Town Itself’: Community Representation and the Stanley Cup Hockey Challenges of the Kenora Thistles, 1903–1907

This case study of community representation in Canadian hockey analyzes media accounts of four Stanley Cup hockey series played by the Kenora Thistles between 1903 and 1907. It examines newspaper coverage of the Thistles hockey club as it moved from an amateur team represented by players with roots in their home community to a professional aggregation that included paid imports from outside the town. The essay explores the relationship between sport and civic identity during a key time of change in top-level hockey. The dominant narrative surrounding the Thistles portrayed players as true ‘members’ of the town of Kenora. Even after the turn to professionalism, narratives of small-town, amateur purity and close connections to the community characterized coverage of the Thistles as they pursued the Stanley Cup. At the same time, however, a growing emphasis on securing the personnel that could ensure victory led to praise for the club’s efforts to please its supporters, or ‘customers’. As a result, this study of notions of civic representation in early hockey provides insight into the process by which sports teams came to be viewed as symbolic representatives of their communities.     

基于表示学习的双层知识网络链路预测

当前,针对知识网络的链路预测主要是基于网络拓扑结构的相似性,很少考虑作者的研究领域,导致信息利用不充分等问题,因此本文提出了双层知识网络的链路预测框架hypernet2vec。双层知识网络,即作者合著关系网络和学术领域关系网络,利用网络表示学习,分别将两层网络中的节点映射到低维的向量空间,再输入到专门设计的卷积神经网络中计算并进行链路预测。与经典的链路预测指标如RA指标、LP指标和LRW指标等相比,hypernet2vec模型预测的AUC (area under curve)值取得了显著的提升,平均提升幅度达11.17%。文章还从情报产生层面和复杂系统层面,对模型发生作用的深层机理进行了探讨。     

运动表象训练在高校女生跨栏教学中的运用与研究

根据运动心理学原理，针对普通高校女生在跨栏学习过程中产生的消极、恐惧等现象，将运动表象训练运用到女生跨栏教学中，使跨栏的基本知识、基本技术和基本技能的学习与智能训练相结合，改变了原来跨栏教学枯燥而紧张的教学结构。实验结果表明，其教学结果优于常规教学。
