侵财型职务犯罪情况分析及预防对策研究——以乐山市为例

我国刑法界定的职务犯罪是指国家机关、企业事业单位、国有公司、人民团体工作人员利用已有职权,徇私舞弊、贪污、贿赂、滥用职权、玩忽职守,侵犯公民人身权利、民主权利,破坏国家对公务活动的规章规范,依照刑法应当处以刑罚处罚的犯罪.此类犯罪具有严重的社会危害性,一是危害人民民主专政的政权和社会主义制度的政治基础;二是危害国家财产所有权和劳动群众集体所有的财产,危害社会主义的经济基础;三是破坏正常的社会秩序和经济秩序.文章对乐山市十年来职务犯罪中侵犯财产型案件的相关情况进行了调查分析,对此类犯罪的规律、特点和原因进行了归纳总结,并以此为基础提出预防职务犯罪的相应对策.     

情绪类型与延迟满足关系的实验研究

为探寻情绪类型对延迟满足的影响,采用三种不同情绪类型的视频短片激发大学生被试产生不同情绪(积极、中性和消极情绪),比较不同情绪状态组延迟满足得分,进而得出情绪类型对延迟满足的影响情况。实验结果表明:积极情绪组与中性情绪组延迟满足得分差异不显著;积极情绪组得分显著高于消极情绪组;中性情绪组得分显著高于消极情绪组。

Exploring the psychological foundations of democratic group deliberation: Personality factors,Confirming interaction,and democratic decision making

This report investigated relationships among group members’ personalities, confirming interaction, and democratic decision making. Using the Big Five personality measure and a self‐report measure of confirming interaction, it was hypothesized that confirming interaction would be reported more often in groups whose members are relatively extraverted, agreeable, conscientious, non‐neurotic, and open to experience. Of these personality factors, one had a clear association: Groups with higher mean levels of agreeableness reported higher levels of confirming interaction. In addition, perceived confirming interaction was hypothesized to be positively correlated with members’ perceptions of democratic decision making. This hypothesis was also supported.     

Evaluating Model Fit With Ordered Categorical Data Within a Measurement Invariance Framework: A Comparison of Estimators

A paucity of research has compared estimation methods within a measurement invariance (MI) framework and determined if research conclusions using normal-theory maximum likelihood (ML) generalizes to the robust ML (MLR) and weighted least squares means and variance adjusted (WLSMV) estimators. Using ordered categorical data, this simulation study aimed to address these queries by investigating 342 conditions. When testing for metric and scalar invariance, Δχ² results revealed that Type I error rates varied across estimators (ML, MLR, and WLSMV) with symmetric and asymmetric data. The Δχ² power varied substantially based on the estimator selected, type of noninvariant indicator, number of noninvariant indicators, and sample size. Although some the changes in approximate fit indexes (ΔAFI) are relatively sample size independent, researchers who use the ΔAFI with WLSMV should use caution, as these statistics do not perform well with misspecified models. As a supplemental analysis, our results evaluate and suggest cutoff values based on previous research.     

An Exercise to Introduce Power

In introductory statistics courses, the concept of power is usually presented in the context of testing hypotheses about the population mean. We instead propose an exercise that uses a binomial probability table to introduce the idea of power in the context of testing a population proportion.

MTHFR (Ala 222 Val) polymorphism and AMI in patients with type II diabetes mellitus

The prevalent Ala222Val single nucleotide polymorphism of the MTHFR gene has been shown to be associated with type II diabetes. The objective of the present study was to find out whether there is genetic predisposition for development of acute myocardial infarction in type II diabetes mellitus among South Indian Tamil population. PCR-based restriction enzyme analysis was performed in DNA isolated from 120 acute myocardial infarction patients with diabetes mellitus and 100 non diabetic healthy individuals with no documented cardiovascular diseases. The results indicate that the MTHFR 677TT genotype is absent in both case and controls. The MTHFR 677CT genotype was observed among 32 (26.7 %) cases and 20 (20%) controls and the MTHFR 677CC genotype among 88 (73.3%) cases and 80 (80%) controls. The allelic frequencies were in accordance to Hardy Weinberg equilibrium. There was no statistical difference in genotype distribution between cases and controls. In conclusion, we suggest that the analysis of MTHFR genotyping for C677T polymorphism alone need not be considered to find out whether there is genetic predisposition for development of acute myocardial infarction in type II diabetes mellitus among South Indian Tamil population.
