泰山封禅作为一种文化仪式,在不同的历史时期都有新的发展变化.对传统泰山封禅仪式的起源和象征意义进行分析,从性质、目的、形式、影响等方面,结合符号意义、身份认同诉求、共同信仰、祭祀仪式等因素,对泰山传统封禅仪式和现代《中华泰山·封禅大典》演出进行比较研究,阐释新媒介环境下利用实景演出呈现传统仪式的积极和消极作用.     

Learning of Chemical Equilibrium through Modelling‐based Teaching

This paper presents and discusses students’ learning process of chemical equilibrium from a modelling‐based approach developed from the use of the ‘Model of Modelling’ diagram. The investigation was conducted in a regular classroom (students 14–15 years old) and aimed at discussing how modelling‐based teaching can contribute to students learning about the main qualitative aspects concerning chemical equilibrium. The data (collected from the written material produced by the students and the video‐recording of the classes) were organised in case studies for each group of students. The discussion supports the conclusion that elements from the ‘Model of Modelling’ diagram, as well as methodological aspects related to the teacher’s action, influenced the students’ learning process.     

Difficulties in co‐opting a complex sign: Our Lady of Guadalupe as a site of semiotic struggle and entanglement

The Cult of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the product of appropriations authored by both the Aztecs and the Roman Catholic Church, has served as a tool of empowerment, dominion, and accommodation. Central to this contested cult is an indigenous reinvention of the Virgin Mary that is simultaneously index, icon, and symbol. This study demonstrates the difficulties in attempting to selectively appropriate the desirable features of such a sign while excluding those deemed undesirable. In attempting to appropriate certain features of the Virgin it deemed desirable, the authors argue, the Church also annexed aspects of the Aztec religious tradition at odds with the teachings of Catholicism. While Catholicism's attempt to co‐opt this Virgin extended the influence of the institutional Catholic Church, the authors suggest, it also undermined the integrity of the faith the Church promotes by fostering a form of popular Catholicism contrary to the teachings and practices of orthodox Catholicism. This study is grounded in data obtained through interviews conducted with pilgrims in the vicinity of the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe immediately prior to, during, and after the Virgin's annual feastday (December 12). The authors also draw upon anthropological, historical, and religious studies scholarship to make sense of the pilgrims’ beliefs and place them within the broader historical and religious contexts in which they operate.     

How a qualitative approach to concept map analysis can be used to aid learning by illustrating patterns of conceptual development

This paper describes a qualitative approach to analysing students' concept maps. The classification highlights three major patterns which are referred to as 'spoke', 'chain' and 'net' structures. Examples are given from Year 8 science classes. The patterns are interpreted as being indicators of progressive levels of understanding. It is proposed that identification of these differences may help the classroom teacher to focus teaching for more effective learning and may be used as a basis for structuring groups in collaborative settings. This approach to analysing concept maps is of value because it suggests teaching approaches that help students integrate new knowledge and build upon their existing naive concepts. We also refer to the teacher's scheme of work and to the National Curriculum for science in order to consider their influence in the construction of understanding. These ideas have been deliberately offered for early publication to encourage debate and generate feedback. Further work is in progress to better understand how students with different conceptual structures can be most appropriately helped to achieve learning development.     

Symbol error probability of decode and forward cooperative diversity in Nakagami-m fading channels

In this paper, we provide closed-form expressions for the symbol error probability of decode and forward cooperative diversity systems, when operating over independent but not necessarily identically distributed Nakagami-m fading channels. The results hold for arbitrary number of relays, and refer to the M-ary QAM and M-ary PSK modulations.     

A new normal? Competing national cultural discourses and workers’ constructions of identity and meaningful work in Norway

We examine how conceptions of identity and meaningful work are influenced by a nation's changing economic and political environment. We collected research in Norway – a country with a rich economy that has heavily relied upon oil production since the 1980s. Yet depleting oil resources are prompting an economic transformation. Twenty-seven interviews and a thematic analysis revealed how Norwegian workers safeguarded their traditional, collective workplace values, yet were simultaneously confronted with modern – more masculinized – workplace performances ushered in with the oil era. We contribute to theory by suggesting that work's meaningfulness is constructed by competing national cultural discourses that evolve over time. These discourses become narratives that citizens draw upon to evaluate work and to negotiate their personal and professional identities.

本文简述了有意义学习理论和可理解性输入理论，并分析了两者的关系，提出了有意义学习理论对外语教学中语言输入的启示：不能忽视母语的作用；正确处理机械学习与有意义学习的关系；重视对有“文化”意义的输入。     

谈辞趣中的数学符号

我国著名修辞学家吴士文先生在他的论著中提出了:辞格与辞趣对举,辞趣中有辞的形貌,辞的形貌中有插用图符,插用图符中有符号示意,符号示意中有数学符号。所以以此为起点,对当前广泛使用数学符号的修辞现象,进行了梳理和分类,并进一步阐发数学符号的修辞作用:凝练醒目、新鲜形象、简约有趣。     

艺术设计中的政治符号研究

艺术设计中的符号有很多类,政治符号便是其特殊的存在。设计中某些元素作为政治符号有它显著、独特的特征,同时在其发展过程中政治符号与设计元素一直都在进行着形式与功能的较量。设计中的政治符号在人类的历史上曾有着重要的地位,也产生了不可替代的影响和作用。但是由于现今社会的多元性与趋同性,使它的功能逐渐弱化,使人们对它的研究变得更为紧迫和重要。

本文通过对众多电工学教材中有关无功功率的一个错误的补正 ,讨论了无功功率教学中几个值得注意的问题
