Decisional procrastination correlates: personality traits, self-esteem or perception of cognitive failure?

The aim of the present study is to examine a number of decisional procrastination correlates. A sample of 258 subjects attending secondary school were administered the Melbourne Decision Making Questionnaire, Cognitive Failures Questionnaire, Self-Esteem Scale, Big Five Questionnaire and Five Factors Adjective Short Test. The data were subjected to correlation and multiple regression. Decisional procrastination is best explained by the Cognitive Failures Questionnaire. The results enable a further analysis in the field of decisional procrastination.

Non-centralized control for flow-based distribution networks: A game-theoretical insight

This paper solves a data-driven control problem for a flow-based distribution network with two objectives: a resource allocation and a fair distribution of costs. These objectives represent both cooperation and competition directions. It is proposed a solution that combines either a centralized or distributed cooperative game approach using the Shapley value to determine a proper partitioning of the system and a fair communication cost distribution. On the other hand, a decentralized non-cooperative game approach computing the Nash equilibrium is used to achieve the control objective of the resource allocation under a non-complete information topology. Furthermore, an invariant-set property is presented and the closed-loop system stability is analyzed for the non-cooperative game approach. Another contribution regarding the cooperative game approach is an alternative way to compute the Shapley value for the proposed specific characteristic function. Unlike the classical cooperative-games approach, which has a limited application due to the combinatorial explosion issues, the alternative method allows calculating the Shapley value in polynomial time and hence can be applied to large-scale problems.

开封话隶属中原官话,虽然属于北方方言,但毕竟是地域方言,所以有些方言词语在语音、语义及语法等方面与普通话相比还是存在着区别。如开封话中的"得"字就很有特色,不仅表现在语音上,在语义、语法方面也有生动的体现。本文试图探索"得"在单独成词与组合成词后的方言特色,揭示在推及普通话过程中,标准语与方言发展的不平衡性。     

从配价角度考察“V1P＋V1＋得＋MC”中动词的省略情况

本文运用配价语法理论,结合成分移位的分析方法,对“V1P＋V1＋得＋MC”结构中“V1P”的动词V1省略情况进行分析,并尝试归纳出该动词省略所需的前提和条件;此外,还探讨了该结构中动词、论元、情态补语之间的语法语义关系;最后一部分针对“V1P＋V1＋得＋MC”结构动词省略情况在对外汉语教学中的实际教授提出了个人意见和建议。     

Expansionism,Physical Education and Olympism: Common Interests of King Leopold II of Belgium,Cyrille Van Overbergh and Pierre de Coubertin (1894–1914)

In this article, we focus on the links and synergies between the Ecole mondiale of King Leopold II of Belgium, the Plans du Collège Léopold II of Pierre du Coubertin and the establishment of the Belgian Olympic Committee in 1906. A firm belief in the advantages of international cooperation undercut these three projects that were planned in Belgium. Always accompanying the internationalist discourse was the conviction that they should also strengthen Belgium's international position. Consequently, they focused strongly on physical education and sport, emphasising the great expansionist assets. All in all, however, the outcomes of the projects were less than expected. While the Belgian Olympic Committee had a difficult start, Coubertin's project only existed on paper, and the Ecole mondiale never rose above its foundations because of serious practical and political issues. Nonetheless, the expansionist discourse did facilitate the creation of the Higher Institute of Physical Education at the State University of Ghent in 1908.
