实验室建设在应用型人才培养中的作用

加强专业实验室建设,充分发挥实验室的作用,使其成为培养本科生创新能力、实践能力的重要场所,对于进一步加快推进本科应用型人才的培养是十分必要性、紧迫性。实验室建设工作既是当今高校改革与发展的重要内容,对解决我国当前高等教育对人才培养与社会需求矛盾具有实际意义。在分析了应用型本科教育的特征和应用型人才培养模式的基础上,探讨了实验室硬件建设和运行体系构建对本科应用型人才培养的作用。     

“国培计划”体育教师培训满意度研究

根据教育部颁布的《“国培计划”课程标准》编制了《体育教师培训课程重要性与满意度调查问卷》。根据问卷对福建师范大学体育科学学院所承训的两期“国培计划”178名体育骨干教师进行调查,对培训课程重要性与满意度进行比较分析。研究发现学员对培训课程内容的满意度指数达到中上水平;课程的满意指数较高的主要集中在学科知识和教学设计两个维度;第4期学员满意度明显高于第3期。据此,为改进与完善培训课程提供参考建议。     

Analysing a cycling grand tour: Can we monitor fatigue with intensity or load ratios?

This study evaluated the changes in ratios of different intensity (rating of perceived exertion; RPE, heart rate; HR, power output; PO) and load measures (session-RPE; sRPE, individualized TRIMP; iTRIMP, Training Stress Score?; TSS) in professional cyclists. RPE, PO and HR data was collected from twelve professional cyclists (VO_2max 75 ± 6 ml?min?kg^?1) during a two-week baseline training period and during two cycling Grand Tours. Subjective:objective intensity (RPE:HR, RPE:PO) and load (sRPE:iTRIMP, sRPE:TSS) ratios and external:internal intensity (PO:HR) and load (TSS:iTRIMP) ratios were calculated for every session. Moderate to large increases in the RPE:HR, RPE:PO and sRPE:TSS ratios (d = 0.79–1.79) and small increases in the PO:HR and sRPE:iTRIMP ratio (d = 0.21–0.41) were observed during Grand Tours compared to baseline training data. Differences in the TSS:iTRIMP ratio were trivial to small (d = 0.03–0.27). Small to moderate week-to-week changes (d = 0.21–0.63) in the PO:HR, RPE:PO, RPE:HR, TSS:iTRIMP, sRPE:iTRIMP and sRPE:TSS were observed during the Grand Tour. Concluding, this study shows the value of using ratios of intensity and load measures in monitoring cyclists. Increases in ratios could reflect progressive fatigue that is not readily detected by changes in solitary intensity/load measures.

我国图书馆员教育与培训研究现状统计分析

论文以1996年到2008年维普数据库收录的关于我国图书馆员教育和培训研究的1032篇文献为研究对象,运用文献计量学方法,从年度文献量、期刊分布、著者、主题等方面进行统计分析,揭示了近十三年来国内关于图书馆员教育和培训领域的研究状况,以期为国内在这一领域的研究提供一些参考。参考文献5。     

论特殊教育教师专业化发展

特殊教育教师的专业化水平直接关系到特殊儿童受教育的权利和特殊教育的质量,是特殊教育教师队伍建设的重要方面。特殊教育教师专业化不仅包括教师所应有的共同素质,还包括特殊教育职业所特别需要的专业道德、专业知识和专业能力等方面。目前我国特殊教育教师专业化发展存在的问题在于特殊教育教师的数量严重缺乏、专业水平不高、培训制度不完善,促进特殊教育教师专业化发展的对策在于加强特殊教育教师专业化培养、完善特殊教育教师的培训制度、尽快建立和实行特殊教育专业资格证书制度、建立有效的激励机制。

Evaluation of a surfing programme designed to increase personal well-being and connectedness to the natural environment among ‘at risk’ young people

Outdoor activities can be an important complement to classroom learning, especially for children/young people excluded, or at risk of exclusion, from mainstream schooling. The current research explored the impact of a 12-week surfing programme among such a group in the UK. Pre-post data on physiological health (heart rate (HR)/blood pressure), self-reported well-being (life and domain satisfaction), connectedness (e.g. to nature, school), environmental awareness (e.g. role of sand dunes) and teacher evaluations (e.g. behaviour) were collected. Results found significant drops in HR (suggesting improved fitness), increased satisfaction with appearance, more positive attitudes towards school and friendships, greater environmental awareness and more positive teacher evaluations, post-intervention. A lack of findings in other domains suggests these results were not due to participants simply conforming to demand characteristics. Overall, the results suggest that surfing interventions could have important benefits for vulnerable young people who struggle with mainstream schooling. The need for future research using control groups and longer term follow-up is discussed.     

Encouraging Identification with the Larger Campaign Narrative: Grassroots Organizing Texts in Barack Obama’s 2008 Presidential Campaign

Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign motivated thousands of people to train, organize, and recruit volunteers to get involved at the grassroots level. In this essay, I study a set of training manuals used during the 2008 Obama campaign and explore how four key rhetorical devices encouraged volunteers to identify strongly with the campaign. Using Kenneth Burke’s theory of identification, I analyze how (a) “Respect. Empower. Include.,” (b) the Story of Self, (c) volunteer recruitment and retention, and (d) the Obama “O” symbol fostered a sense of mission and commitment to the larger campaign narrative.
