Talent,Schmalent: An Instructional Design/Action Research Framework for the Professionalization of Teaching in Academic Libraries

When myths become canonical beliefs within a professional culture, they can have a profound impact on professional practice. In this paper we identify as a pernicious educational myth the belief that the ability to teach well is a naturally occurring innate talent or skill. The first two sections of the paper aim to demonstrate (i) that the concept of the naturally gifted teacher is a myth based on factually incorrect assumptions about expertise development and (ii) that this myth has several major negative implications for professional practices around teaching in academic libraries. We then we draw on the education literature to offer an alternative model for the cultivation of teaching excellence, an instructional design/action research framework that prioritizes ‘deliberative’ practice over innate talent. We close with suggestions for how academic librarians and library administrators can implement this framework within their institutions.     

基于Pro/E的模具数控加工过程

阐述了Pro/E模具数控铣削加工的基本流程,实现了烟灰缸凹模数控加工的全过程,分析了如何利用Pro/E NC模块进行数控加工仿真并得出最终产品及NC代码。实践表明,基于Pro/E的数控加工技术能够在产品的设计及制造阶段有效地发挥作用,缩短产品的设计及制造周期。     

《机床数控技术》教学改革的探索与实践

本文阐述了《机床数控技术》理论与实践教学改革尝试的一些工作。提出了改革理论教学,实施研讨式教学法,改革实践教学,实施三段式数控编程实训方案的改革思路,详细介绍了具体的实施步骤和措施,就实施改革的教学效果作了总结。     

基于模糊理论的数控机床故障诊断方法

通过分析数控机床故障的特点,应用模糊数学理论,结合经验,提出了一种数控机床故障诊断模糊数学定量分析方法,分别从数控机床故障症状、故障源两方面进行研究,最后加权综合,找出故障原因.解决了传统数控机床故障诊断依靠经验而带来的困难,减少了盲目性,提高了可靠性,并以数控系统主电源低为例介绍了此方法的具体应用.     

Differential effects of norm-referenced and self-referenced feedback on performance expectancies,attributions, and motivation

When feedback is provided to students in a norm-referenced manner that compares the individual's performance to that of others, people who perform poorly tend to attribute their failures to lack of ability, expect to perform poorly in the future, and demonstrate decreased motivation on subsequent tasks. The present study examined the hypothesis that the deleterious effects of failure might be attenuated when failure is expressed in self-referenced terms—relative to the individual's known level of ability as assessed by other measures. In this study, subjects received feedback indicating that they did well or poorly on an anagram test, and this feedback was described as either norm-referenced (comparing the individual's performance to that of others) or as self-referenced (comparing performance to other measures of the individual's ability). As predicted, compared to norm-referenced failure, self referenced feedback resulted in higher expectancies regarding future performance and increased attributions to effort. Contrary to expectations, attributions to ability were not affected. The implications of the results for the structure of academic feedback are discussed.     

数控设备应用与维护专业教学做一体化教学模式改革研究

根据高职数控设备应用与维护专业的特点,给出专业实施"教学做"一体化教学模式需要改革的重要内容,包括教学计划中的课程体系构建到教学资源的准备、教学条件要求,再到课程实施中教师的教学方法和学生的评价考核方案设计,从而形成一套切实可行的"教学做"一体化教学模式实施方案。     

浅谈判断与排除数控机床一般故障的方法

数控机床发生故障后,如何在诸多故障现象当中,捕捉到故障病因的症结?故障的诊断是否遵循一定的规律和方法?如何迅速诊断故障出处并排除故障使其恢复正常,是提高数控机床设备使用率的迫切需要。不断探索研讨故障发生的根源与防止故障发生的措施,才是最积极、最有效地提高数控机床使用效益和经济效益的举措。     

UG软件在数控加工中的应用

文章对一手机凸模进行数控加工,介绍了UG软件在数控铣削编程中的应用,对使用UG进行数控加工有一定借鉴意义.     

《产品设计与制造实训》教学探索与实践——以兰州石化职业技术学院为例

针对高职数控技术应用专业的培养目标和能力要求,结合我院新修订的数控加工技术人才培养方案,开发了《产品设计与制造实训》课程,科学构建了新的课程体系、拟定了该课程教学内容组成模块及具体知识要点和教学过程,制定了详细的实施方案,为提高数控高技能专业实践教学环节的教学质量进行了探索与实践,更好地满足了"十二五"期间高端装备制造的发展对数控加工人才培养的新要求。
