高职院校大型校园招聘会低签约率的分析与对策

当前高职院校毕业生就业压力不断增大,但大型校园招聘会却出现低签约率的现象。这与毕业生、用人单位、学校三方均有一定的关系。要提高高职院校大型校园招聘会签约率的成效,学校就要指导毕业生做好招聘会应聘的前期准备工作和邀请用人单位的各项工作,同时还要做好校园招聘会自身的宣传、组织、协调、服务工作。     

需方视角下的经济管理类大学生实践能力研究——基于50家用人单位招聘要求的整理

大学生实践能力培养是培养合格大学生的重要途径,对大学生实践能力内涵和外延理解的模糊将导致高等学校在设置其人才培养方案以及课程时的混乱。文章基于对50家用人单位的网络招聘要求的整理,指出经济管理类大学生实践能力主要包括一般实践能力和专业实践能力两种,一般实践能力则包括学习能力等18类具体要求,专业实践能力则包括专业工作能力等6类;同时,文章还基于分析得出用人单位对大学生的实践能力要求主要体现在一般实践能力上的结论,并由此给出了高等学校在进行人才培养方案和课程设计过程中的相应对策和注意事项。     

Recruitment to Teaching: The Changing Impact of Social Origins in Norway 1975–2010

Concerns about the status of the teaching profession are widespread. In this paper, the social selection to teacher education is compared with the social selection to other higher education courses in Norway from 1975 to 2010. This comparison can shed light on changes in the status of teaching relative to other types of higher education. Using enrolment data supplied by educational institutions, this study examines whether the recruitment to teacher education has changed in a manner that reflects a unique decline in teacher status. The analyses show that the social selection to teacher education has declined. However, a similar decline is found for recruitment to other educational fields. Thus, the results suggest that the declining status of teaching is part of a larger trend in which the status of bachelor’s level applied educational fields declined relative to traditional university courses.     

Who really selected you? Insights into faculty selection processes in top-ranked higher education graduate programmes

Over the past decade, the number of advertised tenure-track faculty positions in higher education institutions in the United States and abroad has steadily declined while the competition for these positions has become fierce. This situation has caused some scholars to seek perspectives into the factors that influence the tenure-track faculty selection process. This study investigates the elements that impact higher education graduate programme faculty searches. A total of 39 programme coordinators, department heads and deans who had previously participated in higher education programme searches were surveyed to explore their experiences and perceptions regarding the selection process. The findings indicate that the search committee’s faculty votes within the higher education hiring programme are more influential in selection decisions than the votes of either a programme chair or dean. Additionally, participants identified a candidate’s academic accomplishments, interview performance and presentation skills as the determining characteristics influencing their selection. These findings provide useful information to tenure-track job seekers who seek faculty positions at higher education graduate programmes in the United States and around the world.     

Enhancing survey participation: Facebook advertisements for recruitment in educational research*

Surveys are commonly used to determine how people feel about a specific issue. The increasing availability of the internet and popularity of social networking sites have opened up new possibilities for conducting surveys and, with limited additional costs, enlarge the pool of volunteer respondents with the desired background, experience, or characteristics. In this paper, three different educational research studies are described. In each, a Facebook advertisement was among the methods used for recruitment of survey participants. In two of the studies, Facebook advertising was adopted to overcome obstacles encountered when more traditional sampling procedures failed; in the third study, Facebook was used to broaden representation to include international participants within project budget limitations. Details of the studies and of the recruitment approaches adopted, and the effectiveness of using Facebook advertising are presented. The limitations of using Facebook as a source of recruitment are also considered.

大学在录用教师过程中与教师职位申请者之间存在着较为严重的信息不对称问题。对于处在信息占有相对劣势地位的大学而言,在录用什么样的人来担任大学教师问题上承担着越来越大的风险。在严重信息不对称条件下,大学教师录用过程中可能会产生“逆向选择”现象。“逆向选择”可能的后果之一,是带来大学教师队伍整体素质的降低,进而导致大学学术创造力的衰退。
