闽北大腔戏作为我省乃至全国至今保存最原始的一种提线傀儡戏艺术形态,融汇着浓郁的宗教精神。大腔戏的宗教性充分体现在它的宗教形态、行业信仰以及它与民俗礼仪的关系上。在从明清至今的漫长的历程中,大腔傀儡戏时时处处发挥它独特的宗教功能。闽北大腔戏是世俗的宗教祭礼,以最大众、最低俗、乃至最亵渎的神明形式,宣扬宗教思想,强化宗教精神,把宗教文化的种子播洒在每一位老幼妇孺的心田。  相似文献

The use of creative methods has been advocated within disability and childhood research as a means of including voices of inarticulate participants in research, as it can support and supplement the use of conventional language. This paper draws on a research project aimed at designing ‘the best school in the world’ with five students in a special needs unit of a secondary school in a socially deprived community in England, to suggest the use of playful creative methods in generating and representing data in inclusive education research. Play, as an activity occurring in an actual social reality yet not completely governed by its rules, offers an interesting starting point for researchers interested not only in describing the existing world but also in imagining viable alternatives to it. This paper discusses how using a playful methodology had an impact on power relations and provided an accessible context to foster participants' engagement in reflexive discussions about social norms and values. Creative and playful methodology was also useful in transgressing the primacy of language in educational research, thus opening spaces for other aspects of experience to be included in the analysis. This paper reports on an investigation into the quality of the learning experiences for 4–5‐year‐old children in Northern Ireland schools in the context of the debate about play‐based and formal approaches to learning and teaching. Detailed observations were carried out in 70 Year 1 classes: 38 in traditional Year 1 classes where the Northern Ireland National Curriculum is being delivered, and 32 in Enriched Curriculum classes, where a more developmentally appropriate, play‐based and child‐centred curriculum is being piloted. The quality of the learning experience in each class was assessed using a structured observation schedule, i.e. Walsh and Gardner's Quality learning instrument. Overall the Enriched Curriculum appears to be providing 4–5‐year‐old children in Northern Ireland with a higher‐quality learning experience. The children are given more opportunities to act independently, are engaged in more challenging activities and are more learning disposed, and they show higher levels of emotional, social and physical well‐being. The findings are discussed in terms of what constitutes an appropriate curriculum for this age group.  相似文献

This paper explores a range of therapeutic modalities used by counsellors of children and positions those modalities within Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences. Research by O’Brien (Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligence and its implications for the counselling of children. Unpublished doctoral dissertation, Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia, 1999) revealed that by drawing on a combination of preferred intelligences, children were able to enhance the dialogue between the unconscious and conscious, while strengthening the relationship between the counsellor and client. A number of useful counselling approaches are highlighted in working with children, particularly younger children who have not yet developed language sufficient for more formal counselling sessions. Suggestions that assist counsellors to operate across settings are explored.  相似文献

Young children's enthusiasm for undertaking challenging physical activities is described, and examples are given of physical risk-taking by 4 year olds and by younger children. Having acknowledged the prevalence of such play, three emerging questions are discussed: what are acceptable physical challenges for 4 year olds, how can we juggle the need for challenge with the increasingly restrictive safety requirements, and what may be the wider implications of restricting children's access to physical challenges?  相似文献
