构建《高职数学教育学》之论证

高等职业技术教育在培养目标、专业设置、课程开设等方面都有自身的特点,有必要对其研讨,构建出《高职数学教育学》这门新学科。     

建立学习档案对语言学课程进行形成性评价的实验研究

教育界已经开始呼吁利用学习档案对学习和教学进行形成性评价,培养学生自主学习能力和反思能力。在这一背景下,本研究选定安徽科技学院英语专业某班学生为受试者,研究在他们学习语言学的过程中,学习档案对其产生的影响。结果表明:学生的自主学习和反思学习意识大大增强;学习档案有力地督促了学生坚持规划和实施学习。多数学生对学习档案持认可态度。发现的问题有:尽管学生自主学习和反思学习的意识增强了,但还未来得及彻底转化为有效行动。有些学生未能充分理解这一形成性评价工具的目的和作用,影响了学习档案的效果。     

Integrating Computer-Mediated Communication into an EAP course

The development of the computer along with the widespread use of the Internet has rapidly promoted Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) as a very important communication media, which can be used widely and effectively in foreign language teaching and learning. This essay tries to explore the advantages of CMC as well as its proposed application, beginning with the introduction of some concepts related to CMC. From the research history, the rationale of using CMC in foreign language learning is summarised. The context of an EAP course is introduced and some suggestions on using CMC in this course are proposed.

PISA and high-performing education systems: explaining Singapore’s education success

Singapore’s remarkable performance in Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) has placed it among the world’s high-performing education systems (HPES). In the literature on HPES, its ‘secret formula’ for education success is explained in terms of teacher quality, school leadership, system characteristics and educational reform. This article offers an alternative explanation for the education success of Singapore and, in so doing, questions the basic assertions of the HPES literature and, in particularly, the use of PISA results as the prime indicator of the educational performance of a school system. The explanation is informed by a historical perspective on the development of the Singapore education system and based upon a body of empirical findings on the nature of pedagogical practice in classrooms, both of which are vital for understanding the educational performance of Singapore’s education system. The article concludes by addressing the implications of this analysis for educational policy borrowing.     

组合技术创新的理论模式与实证研究

技术创新作为企业资源结构有机化和高度化的核心动因，对单个技术创新的分析研究显然是不够的，必须以系统的观点、从战略的高度和组合的角度来研究企业的技术创新行为。本文即从组合的角度，结合浙江省典型企业的具体事例，对技术创新的新模式——组合技术创新的理论模式作一探讨，对技术创新管理作了展望。

Online portfolio management via deep reinforcement learning with high-frequency data

Recently, models that based on Transformer (Vaswani et al., 2017) have yielded superior results in many sequence modeling tasks. The ability of Transformer to capture long-range dependencies and interactions makes it possible to apply it in the field of portfolio management (PM). However, the built-in quadratic complexity of the Transformer prevents its direct application to the PM task. To solve this problem, in this paper, we propose a deep reinforcement learning-based PM framework called LSRE-CAAN, with two important components: a long sequence representations extractor and a cross-asset attention network. Direct Policy Gradient is used to solve the sequential decision problem in the PM process. We conduct numerical experiments in three aspects using four different cryptocurrency datasets, and the empirical results show that our framework is more effective than both traditional and state-of-the-art (SOTA) online portfolio strategies, achieving a 6x return on the best dataset. In terms of risk metrics, our framework has an average volatility risk of 0.46 and an average maximum drawdown risk of 0.27 across the four datasets, both of which are lower than the vast majority of SOTA strategies. In addition, while the vast majority of SOTA strategies maintain a poor turnover rate of approximately greater than 50% on average, our framework enjoys a relatively low turnover rate on all datasets, efficiency analysis illustrates that our framework no longer has the quadratic dependency limitation.     

对高职高专专业英语教学改革的思考

专门用途英语（ESP）是英语语言教学的一个重要分支,在高职高专职业教育中,ESP教育与经济和技术发展关系最为密切。本文针对专业英语课的特点．分析了目前专业英语教学中存在的问题,提出关于该课程的改革构想,即教学与实践相结合,加大技能训练在教学中的比重,以及专业教师与英语教师相结合的教学探索模式,目的是提高高职院校学生的专业英语应用能力,为新世纪培养高技能人才。     

Comprehension of relations among controversial texts: effects of external strategy use

This study examined the effects of external strategy use on the comprehension of relations among controversial texts. About 80 undergraduates read six controversial texts for the purpose of either finding intertextual relations or forming their opinion about the controversial issue. Half of them were permitted to use external strategies, the other half were not. Results indicated that only when given a purpose of relation-finding did external strategy users perform better than non-users in the comprehension of intertextual relations. Readers with a purpose of relation-finding also outperformed readers with a purpose of opinion-forming when permitted to use external strategies. The use of external strategies had no influence on the recall of intratextual arguments, regardless of reading purpose. These results were discussed in terms of readers’ use of external strategies to serve their reading purposes.
