抗日战争时期陕甘宁边区文化教育建设概览

抗日战争是中华民族在军事、政治、经济和文化的各条战线上万众一心抗击日本侵略者,最终获得民族独立的一场伟大的民族自卫战争。在中国共产党领导的抗日民族统一战线的旗帜下,文化教育肩负着特殊的使命,它汇聚了民族力量,激发起民族精神,指明民族未来的方向,为抗战铸就了强大的精神武器。陕甘宁边区文化教育建设以国防教育为纲领,以干部教育为首要,以国民教育为方向,通过一系列教育建设举措,为抗战各条战线输送了大批优秀人才,根本改变了旧的教育制度和教育方针,成为各抗日根据地文化教育建设事业的典范。     

“博罗队事件”探析

惠州、广州等地沦陷后,东南亚惠侨发起了东江华侨回乡服务团。1939年5月,根据各方报告,国民党断定服务团已为中共占据并实施中共之活动,因而对服务团的态度由初期的赞扬转变为监视、设法取缔。1940年1月,国民党广东军队取得第一次粤北大捷,加之日益浓厚的反共氛围,国民党广东军政当局制造了"博罗队事件",以此作为解散服务团的前奏。事件发生后,成员逐步流入中共领导的东江纵队,成为华南抗战的重要力量。

《八月桂花遍地开》是军旅小说家徐贵祥于世界反法西斯战争胜利60周年之际创作出的作品。小说通过叙述发生在江淮地区的抗日斗争来反思抗战,反思我们的敌人和我们自己。与同类题材文学作品相比,《八月桂花遍地开》成功地表现了我们的敌人,不仅写得像,而且写得真、写得深,尤其是对汉奸群体的刻画。但小说中的女性角色,则比较单调、平面,对男主人公沈轩辕的处理也稍嫌过火,有神化英雄之嫌。

Cultural Evolution and Ideology in Korean Soccer: Sport and Nationalism

Modern Korean sports have been adopted mostly from the West, but now Korea has emerged as a sporting power demanding global attention. The influence of historical and political ideology has been in the cultural background of Korean sports development, and the process of cultural evolution in soccer may be explained in the similar context. What helped the Korean soccer team qualify for the World Cup eight consecutive times – only the sixth country in the world to do so – thus making it the most powerful soccer team in Asia? Soccer initially appeared in Korea during the threat of Japanese invasion, and this backdrop provided the opportunity for soccer to be combined with nationalism and transformed into a cultural product that confronted Japanese imperialism. Since the Korean War, South Korean soccer has become a vehicle for ideological confrontation with North Korea amid the atmosphere of the Cold War, and it thus gave rise to sports nationalism by revealing an ideological superiority and nationalistic disposition. Soccer, which arrived in Korea on a British ship, has become a representative Korean sport and continuously challenges the global stage ahead of Asia's leading economic power. It was against the background of such rapid development that nationalism formed.     

Welcome to Norway!? The Discussions About German Participation in the 1952 Olympic Winter Games in Oslo

The German re-entry into the Olympic Movement after the Second World War took place at the 1952 Olympic Winter Games in Oslo – the capital of a country which had been occupied by Nazi Germany from 1940 to 1945. The wounds of war had by no means healed in Norway at the time of the Oslo event; thus, the 1952 Olympic Games became once more a political issue. In fact, prior to the event, the question of German participation had given rise to numerous discussions between Norway, the Federal Republic of Germany and the IOC. Therefore, the West German ‘Return to Olympia’ was a process which took two years and required patience and diplomatic tact. The objective of this article is to trace this process both from the Norwegian and German perspectives since the research results on the subject available to date emphasised either a Norwegian or a German perspective. This approach also seems interesting against the historical background of the onset of the Cold War.
