民营经济管理规范化探析

加强民营经济的规范化管理是确保民营经济健康持续发展的关键，是贯彻党的十五大政策的有效举措。我们可以从加强政策引导、健全监督机制、改进企业内部管理几方面入手。     

对我国民办教育的政策分析

营利性民办学校是社会主义市场经济条件下的产物，在我国教育资源仍然比较匮乏的背景下，适度鼓励发展营利性民办教育事业，对于教育的大众化以及普及化都具有十分积极和重大的意义。     

Whether and where to enrol? Choosing a primary school in the slums of urban Dhaka,Bangladesh

Slums account for around a third of the population of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and are thought to be growing rapidly. But there is little in the research literature about education of children who live in slums and it is doubtful whether they are covered in official statistics such as those on enrolment rates. This paper addresses this gap with information from a 2008 survey of around 1600 slum households. Most had incomes of less than US$1 per day per person, and faced problems including flooding, poor housing, and risk of eviction. A wide range of school types provided education to children from the study areas, but this varied a lot between different slums.     

Does growth in private schooling contribute to Education for All? Evidence from a longitudinal,two cohort study in Andhra Pradesh,India

This paper informs debates about the potential role for low-fee private schooling in achieving Education for All goals in India. It reports Young Lives’ longitudinal data for two cohorts (2906 children) in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Eight year olds uptake of private schooling increased from 24 per cent (children born in 1994–5) to 44 per cent (children born in 2001–2). Children from rural areas, lower socioeconomic backgrounds and girls continue to be under represented. While some access gaps decreased, the gender gap seems to be widening. Evidence on risks to equity strengthen the case for an effectively regulated private sector, along with reforms to government sector schools.     

Remembering World War II: The rhetoric and politics of national commemoration at the turn of the 21st century

This essay critically examines the reemergence of World War II in public culture. By analyzing four popular memory texts (the World, War II Memorial, Saving Private Ryan, The Greatest Generation, and the Women in Military Service for America Memorial) as well as the discourse circulating about them, it argues that these reconstructions of the past function rhetorically as civics lessons for a generation beset by fractious disagreements about the viability of U.S. culture and identity.

青番茄图书馆评析

2010年8月上线的青番茄图书馆以快递借还图书、全程免费的运作方式,吸引了60万名渎者利用。青番茄通过企业馆、网页广告及押金运作等收入盈利,但面临着物流成本不断上升、电子书广泛利用、公共图书馆服务提升及企业参与程度不高等问题,其可持续发展受到影响。青番茄图书馆的运营表明,目前仍有大量读者阅读纸质图书,因此公共图书馆应扩展布点、提升服务、着力营造良好的信息共享空间,以吸引读者的利用。     

基层纯公益性私人图书馆可持续发展研究——以杨霄松家庭图书馆为例

基层纯公益性私人图书馆是我国基层公共文化服务体系中的重要一环,其具有如下价值:讲求实效、凸显个性,潜移默化、增强辐射,体现本土特色、传承文化。虽然基层纯公益性图书馆有许多优势,但也遭遇了各种问题的困扰。因此,基层纯公益性私人图书馆要想实现可持续发展,可采取如下措施:依靠制度保障,建立良性运行机制;与其他图书馆合作,实现双赢;鼓励志愿者参与,实现创新;实行荣誉机制,点燃激情。     

合肥李氏望云草堂藏书流传述略

李鸿章幼子李经迈,家富藏书,室名望云草堂。李经迈去世后,其子李国超将大部分藏书捐给上海法租界公董局,由震旦大学图书馆代为管理流通,并成立"李氏文库"。20世纪50年代,因全国高校院系调整,"李氏文库"入藏复旦大学图书馆。
