Student Perceptions of Chemistry Laboratory Learning Environments, Student–Teacher Interactions and Attitudes in Secondary School Gifted Education Classes in Singapore

This study investigated the chemistry laboratory classroom environment, teacher–student interactions and student attitudes towards chemistry among 497 gifted and non-gifted secondary-school students in Singapore. The data were collected using the 35-item Chemistry Laboratory Environment Inventory (CLEI), the 48-item Questionnaire on Teacher Interaction (QTI) and the 30-item Questionnaire on Chemistry-Related Attitudes (QOCRA). Results supported the validity and reliability of the CLEI and QTI for this sample. Stream (gifted versus non-gifted) and gender differences were found in actual and preferred chemistry laboratory classroom environments and teacher–student interactions. Some statistically significant associations of modest magnitude were found between students' attitudes towards chemistry and both the laboratory classroom environment and the interpersonal behaviour of chemistry teachers. Suggestions for improving chemistry laboratory classroom environments and the teacher–student interactions for gifted students are provided.     

员工多样性、知识共享与个体创新绩效——一个有调节的中介模型

关于员工多样性与绩效的关系,已有的研究并无定论。将研究层次限定在个体层面,以信息决策理论、社会分类理论、断层线理论等为基础,选取个体感知差异来刻画组织的多样性情况,深入研究其对个体创新绩效的具体作用机理。面向全国多家企事业单位展开调研,回收有效问卷306份,对数据进行分层回归分析的结果表明:员工多样性与个体创新绩效正相关;知识共享部分中介了这一正向关系;员工对待多样性的态度对此中介过程发挥调节作用。随着个体对多样性的态度越来越积极、正面,多样性对知识共享的促进作用越来越显著。     

新时代公共图书馆服务与建设创新的重点和难点

[目的/意义]新时代背景下,研究公共图书馆的根本任务、发展方向和重点难点等问题,对于推进图书馆事业变革,提升图书馆社会影响力具有重要意义。《公共图书馆法》将服务全民阅读定为公共图书馆的重要任务,指明新时代公共图书馆服务与建设创新的发展方向。[研究设计/方法]结合近两年多家机构发布的统计数据以及多个典型案例横向对比。[结论/发现]分析发现公共图书馆持证率、覆盖率和阅读率的现状和存在的问题。[创新/价值]认为提升持证率、覆盖率和阅读率是公共图书馆创新的重点和难点,更是公共图书馆提升社会影响力的关键。     

社会力量参与全民阅读的制度保障比较研究

社会力量参与全民阅读需要健全的制度予以保障。本文采用文献调研、政策文本分析、对比研究等方法,从国内外现存社会力量参与全民阅读的制度保障研究入手,通过分析美国、德国等发达国家全民阅读制度保障及我国已有制度,提出加快出台全民阅读促进法、完善社会力量参与儿童阅读的制度保障、促进社会力量合作和连接的融合发展机制、激励社会力量参与阅读扶贫,构建全民阅读制度保障体系。     

日本儿童阅读活动政策研究

日本政府高度重视发展儿童阅读事业,中央由文部科学省主抓,地方上则由教育委员会主管,中央和地方在职责上各有不同。2001年,日本制定了《关于推进儿童读书活动的法律》。根据这部法律制定的基本计划是儿童阅读事业发展的政策纲领。日本中央和地方均要制定基本计划并定期更新。日本政府的重点举措包括建立政官民合作体制,推动家庭、公共图书馆和学校图书馆发展,设立基金会,开展调查研究和绩效评估等,促进了日本儿童阅读事业的发展。

本文梳理和总结了当代知名学者曾祥芹教授在语文教育学、文章学、阅读学三个领域的斐然成果,尤其是从无到有地建构“汉文阅读学”的具体建树,指出其学术研究的内在动力和精神特质是“学以致用”及“知行合一”,其治学毅力和创新品质,值得当代学术界大力弘扬。

大字本图书是低视力人群重要的信息来源和学习资源,公共图书馆作为大字本图书主要的馆藏地,肩负着大字本图书阅读推广服务的重要职责。通过5W1H分析法,提出公共图书馆大字本图书阅读推广服务对策,包括服务时间、地点的选择、服务团队的建设以及服务方法等,以期对公共图书馆开展大字本图书阅读推广服务有所帮助。     

Explanations of attitudes to change: Colombian mathematics teachers’ conceptions of the crucial determinants of their teaching practices of beginning algebra

This article arises from a study whose overall purpose was to investigate the relationship between Colombian mathematics teachers’ conceptions of beginning algebra and their conceptions of their own teaching practices. The teachers’ understandings of their teaching practices were explored with a view to unravelling their conceptions of change in their teaching. Focusing on the perspectives of teachers afforded opportunities that exposed the powerful role that the teachers’ conceptions of social/institutional factors of teaching played in their conceptions of their practices. The degree to which the teachers attributed these (external) factors as crucial reasons for what they do in their teaching was the basis of a categorisation of their conceptions of the crucial determinants of their teaching practices into three types. The findings are particularly relevant to our understanding of the stability of mathematics teaching approaches in the Colombian context but have likely implications for a range of international education contexts. Specific implications for the development of the research into teachers’ conceptions of mathematics and its teaching, and for teacher education programmes are presented.
