Report on the conference “information technology: Impact on the way of life”

Expanding computer network technologies have emerged as a popular communication channel for millions of people. Contemporary literature abounds with ideologically biased accounts of on-line interaction that hinder the emergence of a coherent analytical framework. Scholarly work on computer-mediated communicative play remains underdeveloped. Through an empirically grounded theoretical orientation, this study aims to identify and illustrate processes and elements central to the emergence of self in on-line chat environments. By use of an e-mail survey, participant observation, content analysis, and open-ended interviews, the social nature of on-line interaction is illustrated and identified as significantly more than the technological sum of the medium. Findings indicate that through on-line chat-interaction a ''cyberself'' emerges, rooted in a unique form of communication that is disembodied, dislocated, anonymous, multiple-simultaneous, and faceless. Each of these elements introduces new possibilities to the dramatic nature of on-line interaction, which represents a kind of communication ''self-game'' where participants enact a multiplicity of selves.     

DVD收音机实时操作系统的任务调度策略

实时操作系统已经被广泛应用于工业控制、网络以及家用电器等领域。任务调度策略是嵌入式实时操作系统的核心,实时操作系统的任务调度策略可分为优先级调度和时间片轮转调度两种方式。将DVD收音机的每个功能作为一个任务,采用非竞争机制的任务调度设计,可将整个运行周期控制在几毫秒之内,同时,也节省了内存,简化了资源的管理和分配。     

虎耳草ISSR反应体系的建立及优化

建立并优化虎耳草ISSR-PCR反应体系和扩增程序,为探讨虎耳草种质资源遗传多样性奠定基础.采用正交设计方法和单因子试验,研究TaqDNA聚合酶、dNTP、Mg2+、引物、模板DNA、延伸时间及循环次数对PCR扩增的影响.结果表明:虎耳草ISSR-PCR的最佳反应体系为:在25μL的反应体系中含模板DNA 35ng,Mg2+1.25mmo/lL、dNTP 380μmo/lL、引物1.2μmo/lL、Taq DNA聚合酶1.5U.反应程序为:95℃预变性5min;94℃变性1min,50℃(据不同引物的退火温度)退火70s,72℃延伸1.5min,40个循环;72℃延伸10min,4℃保存.经过11份虎耳草种质检验,证明该体系稳定可靠,可用于虎耳草种质资源遗传多样性分析及居群鉴别的研究.

Real-Time Chat Reference and the Importance of Text-Chat

Summary

One of real-time chat reference's strengths is the options it gives the librarian in terms of answering questions. Librarians can use text chat, send over a Web page (push pages), or let a patron watch them work over their computers. Options come with a price, though-transaction speed. While most librarians work from a speedy connection, patrons chatting with them are probably using slower dial-up connections. Chat software features are expanding quicker than most patrons can handle, so now it's time to focus on how to best serve the most patrons, instead of inadvertently catering to a select group of technologically savvy patrons with fast computers. Text chat is an excellent way to make sure the most patrons get the best results from real-time reference chats.

本文介绍了多任务版本的实时系统调度算法.该算法能够满足实时系统中的关键性任务在最坏情况下运行时,仍可满足截止时闻的要求.通过为实时系统中的关键性任务设置两个任务版本,即主态和从态版本.主态任务版本具有较好的质量,从态任务版本只提供最基本的功能,运行时间较短.在最坏情况下避免调度主态任务版本,来满足实时调度的实时性要求.
