认真贯彻落实党的十六届六中全会精神 推动学院和谐快速发展

党的十六届六中全会是我党在改革发展关键时期召开的一次十分重要的会议。全会审议通过了《中共中央关于构建社会主义和谐社会若干重大问题的决定》,对当前和今后一个时期构建社会主义和谐社会作出了重要部署。认真学习贯彻全会精神,对实现办学目标,推动学院加快发展具有十分重要的意义。     

The association between mathematical word problems and reading comprehension

This study aimed to investigate the interplay between mathematical word problem skills and reading comprehension. The participants were 225 children aged 9–10 (Grade 4). The children’s text comprehension and mathematical word problem‐solving performance was tested. Technical reading skills were investigated in order to categorise participants as good or poor readers. The results showed that performance on maths word problems was strongly related to performance in reading comprehension. Fluent technical reading abilities increased the aforementioned skills. However, even after controlling for the level of technical reading involved, performance in maths word problems was still related to reading comprehension, suggesting that both of these skills require overall reasoning abilities. There were no gender differences in maths word problem‐solving performance, but the girls were better in technical reading and in reading comprehension. Parental levels of education positively predicted children’s maths word problem‐solving performance and reading comprehension skills.     

The comparative efficacy of two approaches to teaching sixth graders opinion essay writing

Children in sixth grade randomly assigned to a teacher-made writing procedure anchored in the self-regulated strategy development (SRSD) model and training procedures were predicted to surpass children assigned to the comparison condition on dependent measures of writing clarity, organization, and cogency. The prediction was generally substantiated. The results suggest that the rate of change among individual children in the SRSD condition was faster than among children in the comparison condition on measures of clarity and organization. On the measure of cogency, findings showed that the rate of change among individuals in the SRSD condition compared to the comparison condition approached but did not reach statistical significance. Variance in growth parameters on the measure of writing clarity was statistically significant; however on the measure of organization, there was no substantive variation in individual growth parameters. Social validity data from all the children and teachers indicated the training was well received. The results are taken to support the efficacy of the SRSD model and training procedures.     

三至五年级蒙古族小学儿童自尊状况的调查研究

自尊作为人格自我调节结构的核心成分,在儿童社会性发展的各方面均具有重要地位,文化是影响儿童自尊的重要因素。笔者以多元文化背景下的338名三至五年级蒙古族小学儿童作为研究对象,对其自尊特点进行了系统深入的探讨。结果表明：性别、年级、来源地和父母文化程度均不同程度地对蒙古族小学儿童的总体自尊及自尊各方面产生影响。     

对实验教材“函数“一段内容的探讨

"义务教育课程标准实验教科书"数学第八册(上)函数一节内容中,所给函数图形和相应的"教师教学用书"的内容,对摩天轮运动的理解出现了较大的错误,本文简明指出了这些问题并提出了相应的修正方案.     

加强和改进党的作风重在队伍建设——关于实践“三个代表“重要思想的理性思考

本文指出《中共中央关于加强和改进党的作风建设的决定》对加强和改进党的作风建设的极端重要性和紧迫性,对加强和改进党的作风建设的指导思想和重要任务,都作了深刻的阐述并归结为“八个坚持,八个反对”的具体要求。作者认为,执政党的作风问题是关系党和国家的生死存亡的极端重要的问题;党风是党性的外在表现,抓住作风问题由外在表现反思内在原因,做到标本兼治,取信于民。总结建党80年来的成功经验和失败教训,无不与党的作风有关;改进党的作风关键在领导,重在抓落实。抓好党的作风建设,重在队伍建设。     

高一学生函数对应关系的理解的研究

函数是近现代数学的基础,是中学数学中最重要,也是最复杂的概念.学生对函数本质的理解可划分为4个水平:前结构水平、单结构水平、多结构水平和关系结构水平.高一学生函数对应关系的理解整体水平偏低的原因有:函数本身的复杂性、发展性和教学的问题.数学教学中要更新教学观念,注重理解的数学教学,要掌握有利于促进理解的教学方法.     

Are we there yet? Progress in promoting independent learning in a Sixth Form College

This brief report describes an investigation into whether research into independent learning undertaken in Holland could be replicated in an English Sixth Form College. The research explored the degree to which a College’s drive towards self-regulated learning had impacted on students’ attitudes and behaviours. The findings echo much of the findings reported from the Dutch research and suggest that there is still work to do if we are to realise fully the ideal of independent learning.     

《现代汉语词典》(第六版)释义问题商榷

《现代汉语词典》(第六版)在第五版的基础上有了较大改进。但是,据观察仍存在少量细小问题。主要表现为例句和义项对应关系不匹配、对释义内涵外延揭示不严密、义项排列顺序不科学、释义以难释易绕口累赘及评判主观与意识形态色彩浓重等问题。     

贝多芬早期钢琴奏鸣曲中的增六和弦研究

贝多芬的钢琴奏鸣曲在和声的运用上,突破了古典时期一些规则的约束,其对和弦的运用就是调内和弦加增六和弦.这个在音乐关键曲式部位经常出现的明亮而带紧张度的和弦对于塑造音乐形象、揭示深刻的音乐思想及其音乐中的矛盾冲突都起到了极为重要的作用.
