融入与“断连”:老年群体ICT使用的学术话语框架分析

本文通过对国内有关老年群体信息传播技术(ICT)使用的学术话语展开框架分析,阐释了框架的建构及其背后的预设。分析发现,既有研究的话语框架倾向于将老年群体的"断连"(disconnect)行为问题化,强调数字融入的积极影响和断开连接的负面影响,并将问题归因为老年群体对技术的恐惧和新媒体素养的匮乏,呼吁通过文化反哺等社会干预策略让老年群体"跑步"进入数字化。本文提出将"断连"视为一种文化现象加以考察,探寻其中所编织的意义之网,丰富老年群体的信息传播技术使用的面向。此外,置身于无处不在的"连接文化"之中,应当营造一个对老年群体更为友好的基础设施环境与语言环境,在公共生活中提供多种选择的可能。     

社会力量参与全民阅读的制度保障比较研究

社会力量参与全民阅读需要健全的制度予以保障。本文采用文献调研、政策文本分析、对比研究等方法,从国内外现存社会力量参与全民阅读的制度保障研究入手,通过分析美国、德国等发达国家全民阅读制度保障及我国已有制度,提出加快出台全民阅读促进法、完善社会力量参与儿童阅读的制度保障、促进社会力量合作和连接的融合发展机制、激励社会力量参与阅读扶贫,构建全民阅读制度保障体系。     

Temporal bibliographic networks

We present two ways (instantaneous and cumulative) to transform bibliographic networks, using the works’ publication year, into corresponding temporal networks based on temporal quantities. We also show how to use the addition of temporal quantities to define interesting temporal properties of nodes, links and their groups thus providing an insight into evolution of bibliographic networks. Using the multiplication of temporal networks we obtain different derived temporal networks providing us with new views on studied networks. The proposed approach is illustrated with examples from the collection of bibliographic networks on peer review.

我国实行匿名审稿制度的社科期刊很少,原因在于编辑主体对匿名审稿制度的认识不足,社科期刊界尚未形成良好的匿名审稿大气候,审稿专家难找且需要一定的经济支出.基于此,应提高编辑认识,重视匿名审稿;学习先进期刊,建立匿名审稿制度;充分调查研究,制订行业规范;建立审稿专家库,增加投入,解决审稿费用.     

ICPSR meets OAIS: applying the OAIS reference model to the social science archive context

This paper reviews the archival process at the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR), a repository of digital social science data, and maps ICPSR’s Ingest and Access operations to the Open Archival Information System (OAIS) Reference Model. The paper also assesses ICPSR’s conformance with the archival responsibilities of “trusted” OAIS repositories, with the proviso that audit criteria for archival certification are still under development. The ICPSR to OAIS mapping exercise has benefits for the larger social science archiving community because it provides an interpretation of the reference model in the quantitative social science environment and points to preservation-related issues that may be salient for other social science archives. Building on the archives’ long tradition of shared norms and cooperation, we may ultimately be able to design a federated system of trusted social science repositories that provides access to the global heritage.

Departmental networks—An empirical analysis of career patterns among junior faculty in Germany

By using recruitment data from 60 German departments of business administration, networks are constructed in which the nodes are departments, and two departments are connected if they have either sent or received a scientist from one another. Different concepts of social network analysis are applied to answer a series of questions, such as the number of scientists the business departments produce, to whom they send and from whom they receive their scientists, and which role academic networks play in the career of young scientists in business administration. Regression analysis revealed that network centrality is a robust predictor of departmental reputation. The social network approach can be used to assess reputational differences among business departments, thereby providing an alternative to existing opinion surveys and research rankings.
