Comparison with Trados and Déjà Vu

The biggest difference between Star and Trados and DéjàVu is that Star has no translation memory.When working with Trados or DéjàVu,the user will always build up the translation memory.During the translation,user can click"Set/Close Next Open/Get"in Trados translation workbench or"Add Pair to Translation Memory"in DéjàVu to send the translated sentence pair to the translation memory.In that case,translation memory is like a big storage,the more translation work the user does,the more translation units the memory has and large memory usually requires large storage space.However,Star develops a distinct function of alignment.With alignment,users can match source text and its corresponding target text as reference language pairs.This is a flexible solution of translation assistance,but it may not be as systematic as translation memory is.

Peril in the personals: the dangers and pleasures of classified advertising in early twentieth‐century Britain

The question of how newsbook storytelling contributed to the cultivation and development of thinking about particular political practices during the English Civil Wars in the 1640s needs systematic attention. A sustained examination of newsbook narratives reveals assumptions about political order, activity and legitimacy that were being continuously reiterated in public discourse. Examining how the author of the Royalist Mercurius Aulicus chronicled, selected and ordered recent events into a series of narrative episodes across a number of issues, this article offers a preliminary approach towards understanding how newsbooks contributed to everyday political thinking. Using Charles Taylor's notion of ‘social imaginaries’, it outlines the ideas and assumptions that constituted Aulicus' discussion of the Solemn League and Covenant's introduction in September and October 1643. As an important form of political engagement, the stories newsbooks told were used to shape ideas about political propriety on a weekly basis.

将星形模型下的参数分布推广到树形模型来研究基因信息,在模拟的过程中用FST对模型进行了估计,发现FST和遗传漂变率是正相关的。当p趋向于0时,树形模型转化为星形模型;当p趋向于1时,树形模型退化为含有两个子代的星形模型。

微波萃取八角茴香油的研究

研究了利用微波萃取八角茴香油的方法,探讨了微波功率、微波辐射时间、萃取次数对提取率的影响,结果表明:微波萃取法比常规的索氏提取的提取率高,且提取的时间只有常规法的1/80,在功率650W、辐射时间200s、溶剂用量80ml,可得到较好的提取率。

该文针对大班教学的全校性公共数学课程,利用"超星学习通",在教学过程中引入过程性评价,改革传统教学方式,探索适应新时代特点的新型混合式教学模式,增强学生的学习积极性和主动性,并以"概率论与数理统计"课程为实践案例,运用学习通进行混合式教学,得到了学生的认可,取得了良好的效果。
