京津冀区域技术转移网络结构与网络治理

本文对近三年京津冀区域技术交易流量情况进行统计分析,结合社会网络分析法构建了京津冀13个城市间的技术转移网络,并分析其时空分布及演变特征。发现了京津冀区域技术转移的联系整体性逐渐加强,区域技术转移的凝聚力也逐渐增强,但仍处于较低水平。也印证了京津冀区域技术转移网络“核心—边缘”结构特征,并发现天津在京津冀区域技术转移中的中介、传递作用不足,且处于降低趋势。针对此问题,本文还提出构建京津冀区域技术转移网络治理机制的相关建议,供管理部门决策参考。     

关于高职技术伦理教育的几点思考

技术与伦理能够发生联系的中介是科技道德价值。克服技术异化、回归人的本质、伦理学具有的文化形态的独特性、构筑抵御现代技术负面效应的思想屏障都需要技术伦理教育的实施。本文在阐明技术伦理内涵的基础上,分析了开展技术伦理教育的必然性和重要性,并探究了开展技术伦理教育的主要途径。     

No longer a waltz between red wine and mint tea: The portrayal of the children of immigrants in French newspapers (2003–2013)

Despite the egalitarianism that informs French civic culture, the socio-economic marginalization of citizens of non-European origin, mostly from North African countries, provide empirical evidence that challenges the French Republican ideal of integration. Such marginalization needs to be reconciled especially within the cultural realm. In this article, we look at French newspapers’ coverage of the children of immigrants during a ten-year period (2003–2013). We analyse coverage in three major newspapers since French news coverage can be considered to follow a specific political/literary model, which has a profound influence on how news in France is both coded and decoded. The article examines the ways political allegiances affect the portrayals of the children of immigrants. Using the constant comparative method, an analysis of the discourse over time shows that the narratives of integration of the decedents of North African immigrants have been complicated by the 2005 riots, both as a romantic illusion, a reflection of reality, or a possible outcome of events. The three newspapers grapple with the ambiguous position of the children of immigrants in French society in different ways. Coverage of children of immigrants continues to be divided along partisan lines which are bounded by the political/literary model of journalism. What is also clear is that the changing portrayal of children of immigrants is intrinsically attached to evolving social, political, and economic dynamics both nationally and beyond state borders.

我国女网选于郑洁在08年温网赛上凭借外卡一路闯进女单四强,在第三轮更是战胜了现世界排名第一的伊万诺维奇,取得了中国网球在4大公开赛上的单打最佳成绩,创造了我国运动员首次击败现任世界排名第一的纪录。本文运用文献资料、电视录像观察统计、数理统计等研究方法,对郑洁及其对手的情况进行技术统计分析,并从众多数据中揭示郑洁在本次温网赛上实现历史性突破的主要原因及击败世界第一的关键所在。     

People's media and communication rights in Indonesia and the Philippines1

This article attempts to investigate the emerging people's media in relation to the development of communication rights in Indonesia and the Philippines. The thrust is to focus on how the Indonesian and Philippine press acquiesced to political and economic control by the governments of the dictatorial regime of President Soeharta and President Marcos. On the other contrary, we look at how people felt that communication rights are their basic rights and that freedom of thought and freedom of speech are essential for democratic rule. Their resistant to violence, imprisonment and murder carried out by state functionaries have brought new forms of media. These are people's media or radical and citizen media which empower as well as transform ‘passive citizens’ into ‘political actors’.     

An Examination of Media Usage among French-Muslims

Media help in the formation of identity. For ethnic communities, ethnic media can play a dual role, aiding in the acculturation process and assisting in holding onto ethnic identities. This study examines media and identity negotiation. Specifically, this study analyzes differences in media usage among French-Muslims. The principal researcher interviewed 42 first and second generation French-Muslims to explore their media usage and the relationships between their media usage and ethnic identification. Analysis uncovered two key findings. First, second-generation French-Muslims prefer to use ethnic media more than French produced media as a form of protest against French assimilationist policies. Second, abandoning ethnic media is equated with becoming French, which is something first and second generation French-Muslims resist.     

Intergroup Contact,Media Exposure,and Racial Attitudes

The present investigation uses intergroup contact and media systems’ dependency theories to illuminate the relative significance of various sources of information in shaping Caucasian-American attitudes toward African-Americans. It uses empirical data from an exploratory survey of college students to build a chain of related variables that link primary sources of information (face-to-face versus mediated) to stereotypical beliefs, perceived internal causal attributions for African-Americans’ failures, and prejudicial feelings toward African-Americans. Results suggest that face-to-face sources of racial/ethnic out-group information are more effective than mediated sources in prejudice reduction. The discussion includes theoretical and practical implications of the findings.     

Pathways of Immigrant Political Socialization: Examining the Role of News Media,Social Connections,and Community Interaction

Going beyond the traditional socioeconomic status model of political participation, this study examines pathways that lead to the sociopolitical incorporation of immigrants in the USA, with a focus on the role of communication socialization agents. Using a Current Population Survey sample of 7,626 first-generation immigrants in the USA, results show that communication socialization agents significantly contribute to immigrants’ political socialization, and an important mediating path translates political learning into greater political engagement. Results also identify ethnic differences in how socialization variables affect immigrants’ socialization.
