This paper is about mothering an intellectually disabled child identified with special educational needs. It specifically looks at the parent partnership rhetoric that has dominated UK government policy and directives for nearly three decades and yet research suggests parents and more often mothers have to battle to be recognised as legitimate experts. This paper engages with sociological analysis as it highlights via qualitative narratives that mothers are weighed down by the sheer number of professionals involved in their day-to-day life. Moreover, mothers whose children are not identified in the early years are often blamed in the first instance for playing a part in their child’s difficult behaviour. This research ultimately suggests that partnership work is important and necessary for practice within health, education and social work professions, not least of all because the emotional roller-coaster that mothers experience during the assessment and statementing process is disabling.  相似文献

[目的]归纳科技期刊刊群实现形态和实施路径,为我国科技期刊刊群建设提供参考。[方法]使用网站调研、文献调研、访谈调研和案例研究等方法,全面搜集国内外现有科技期刊刊群资料,归纳和分析刊群的存在形态和发展路径。[结果]科技期刊刊群实现模式可以分为学科刊群、学协会刊群、出版社或公司运营刊群、内容集成商刊群及网络聚合刊群模式。刊群建设路径可以分为孵化式、复制式、加盟式、改造式及整合式路径。[结论]针对不同的刊群实现模式需要有对应的建设路径,并遵循一定的建设原则,从平台、品牌、产品、服务等方面加以保障。  相似文献

家长气质及教养方式对幼儿自我效能感的影响研究   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
本研究以38名大班幼儿及其家长为研究对象,采用问卷、访谈和情景测试等方法,探讨了幼儿自我效能感与家长气质及教养方式之间的关系。结果表明:(1)幼儿自我效能感的个体差异较大。(2)幼儿自我效能感不存在性别差异。(3)家长气质类型不同,其子女的自我效能感有显著差异。(4)家长教养方式中的“情感支持与理解”因子与幼儿自我效能感存在显著正相关“,拒绝与否认”因子与幼儿自我效能感呈显著负相关。(5)家长气质与教养方式的某些因子有显著相关,由此推论出家长的内在气质通过外显的教养方式体现,家长的教养方式对幼儿的自我效能感产生直接影响。  相似文献

The transition from maternity services to community child health services on discharge from hospital occurs at a potentially vulnerable time for women in their transition through the childbearing/early parenting continuum. Their experiences contribute to their developing maternal efficacy and parenting skill. The ideal attributes of services that aim to support women and their families during this time include continuity of care, service integration, and birth in accessible, community-based contexts. The purpose of this study was to investigate aspects of maternal experience of mothers attending with their infants a publicly funded drop-in postnatal health-care service, as well as their reasons for attending and their perceptions of its usefulness to them as a mechanism of continuity and a source of support.  相似文献

The reluctance of parents to provide sex education has been a problem for educators since the first attempts at the modernisation of sex education in the early twentieth century, yet the sexual needs, desires and fears of parents are rarely even mentioned in pedagogical debates. This article examines the intense anxiety and embarrassment felt by both parents and teachers when they tried to provide sex education in mid-twentieth-century England. The gendered sexual cultures of women and men and the way in which these shaped responses to the pubertal experience of girls and boys are described. Sex education was a rational progressive discourse; the response of sex educators to resistance and rejection of what they offered was to present ‘rational’ arguments explaining that these anxieties are unnecessary and can thus be abandoned. Waves of popular emotion concerning child sexual abuse since the 1980s demonstrate the continuing relevance of this fear and anxiety, emotions that shaped the course of sex education over the past century.  相似文献

This study examined how emotional contagion may influence student perceptions of rapport with the instructor, emotional support received in the classroom, emotional work performed, and perceived cognitive learning. Participants revealed that emotional contagion was positively related to perceptions of rapport with instructors but unrelated to emotional support from instructors, emotional work performed in the classroom, and valence. Students who were high in emotional contagion reported significantly more rapport, emotional support, and positive valence. When controlling for emotional contagion, only classroom valence predicted students’ perceptions of cognitive learning.  相似文献

为了探讨师范类大学生人际信任与家庭教养方式的关系,采用人际信任量表和父母养育方式评价量表对四川师范大学150名师范生进行问卷调查,并采用SPSS13.0进行数据处理和相关分析.统计结果显示,当代师范类大学生人际信任水平显著低于理论中值水平,不同群体(文理、城乡、性别、是否独生子女)间师范生人际信任水平差异无统计学意义;当代师范类大学生的家庭教养方式总体比较科学;当代师范生的人际信任与母亲的部分教养方式相关显著.  相似文献

本研究选取301名3-5岁儿童的祖父母作为被试,考察祖父母参与儿童教养的基本情况及其特点.结果发现,祖父母对孙子女的教养支持行为最多,惩罚行为最少.祖父母与父母的关系、祖孙相处时间对祖父母的养育行为具有显著预测作用;祖孙相处时间对于祖父母对孙子女的心理压力具有显著预测作用;忽视型祖父母在四类祖父母教养方式中人数最多,溺爱型祖父母人数最少;祖父和祖母在教养方式上存在性别差异,祖母更多参与孙子女的教养,且更多指导型与溺爱型,祖父则更多采取专制型;祖父母的教养方式在不同儿童年龄上存在差异,随儿童年龄增长,采取溺爱和专制型教养方式的祖父母减少,而开始更多采取忽视型的教养方式.  相似文献

本研究采用问卷法和测量法,以大连市某幼儿园104名3~5幼儿为被试,分析了幼儿多元智能发展的年龄差异和性别差异,并进一步探讨了幼儿多元智能发展与幼儿气质、父母教养方式之间的关系。结果表明3~5岁幼儿多元智能的发展存在年龄差异,幼儿的多元智能随年龄增长而逐渐发展,且该年龄阶段是多元智能发展的关键期;3~5岁幼儿空间智能发展的性别差异显著;3~5岁幼儿多元智能与气质、父母教养方式密切相关。气质特点不同的幼儿在多元智能的发展上呈现出不同的特点,父母教养方式也会影响幼儿多元智能的发展。  相似文献
