大学图书馆建筑的走向

近30年来,许多大学图书馆建成了开放式、综合性、多功能、高品质的现代化图书馆建筑,然而存在的问题也不少,平庸或糟糕之作甚多。期望未来大学图书馆走向以科学发展观为指导、以人为本的人性化建筑,节能环保、可持续发展的绿色建筑,人与建筑、环境相和谐的环境友好型建筑,人文与科技相交融的文化建筑,功能与造型完善结合的精品建筑,融入更多专家和专业人员智慧的成功建筑。     

基于灰色GM（1，1）模型的宁夏入境旅游客源市场预测研究

为了给宁夏旅游客源市场的规划发展提供决策上的参考,从拓展入境旅游客源市场方面,采用灰色理论构建了宁夏入境旅游客源市场的灰色GM（1,1）预测模型,并通过各项指标的检验,得出模型的预测级别为好,并预测了未来5年宁夏入境旅游人数．可以看出,宁夏入境旅游人数正处于较快增长阶段,并已拥有较稳定的海外客源市场．     

“市场调查与预测”教学模式初探

本文根据"市场调查与预测"的课程性质与特征,结合笔者的教学实践经验,对课程的教学改革思路与教学改革模式进行探索,并提出了教学改革与创新的具体措施。     

教育技术的技术化倾向

当前我国教育技术领域存在着许多技术化问题,如软硬件建设不同步、管理体系欠完善、重视设备管理轻视教学等,这些问题已经影响到我国教育技术的发展。分析了产生这些问题的原因,提出了克服教育技术技术化倾向的实践策略。     

Scaling laws and forecasting in athletic world records

In this study, we analysed running world records and found that the mean speed of the race, μ, as a function of the record time, τ, can be described asymptotically by two well-defined scaling laws of the form u ?s τ - β. There is a break in the scaling laws (?1000m) between the shorter and the longer races at a characteristic time of around 150-170 s, after which a new scaling regime emerges. This is the first occasion that this characteristic time has been clearly found in physical terms; we interpreted it as the transition time between the anaerobic and the aerobic energy expenditure of athletes. This phenomenon is independent of the athletes' sex and is also found in swimming races with similar values of the characteristic time. We also investigated the forecasting of world records using historical data. Using an approach based on the identification of non-Poissonian events for a sequence of temporal point processes, we found that the sequence of improvements in all athletic records from 1900 to the present day cannot be considered as a sequence of completely random events.

高职学生留学倾向的调查与分析

了解高职学生留学倾向,可以促进高职院校更好地开展留学工作。通过对温州职业技术学院学生留学倾向进行随机调查,结果表明,学生入学时有明确留学倾向的较少,学生在留学途径与留学国家、专业对口度、留学费用与留学时间、留学障碍上都有较明显的倾向。因此,应通过提升高职教育国际化水平,谨慎选择合作专业,提高留学性价比,加强英语教学,为高职学生创造良好的留学环境。     

网络围观“黑幕倾向”的负面效应及对策

作为一种基于互联网技术平台的新型政治参与方式,网络围观在技术手段上提高了网络民意在政府政策执行运作中的分量,然而网络广场对现实社会的揭示和质问总是呈现出一种“黑幕倾向”。从某种程度上讲揭露社会“黑幕”更能彰显网络围观的警示功能和监督功能,但另一方面网民热衷围观“黑幕”也容易招致负面的社会影响,分析网络围观“黑幕倾向”现象的成因并采取科学的应对措施将有助于消解中国的互联网治理困局。

Summary

This article reviews the American and British library literature of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries to see what librarians of this period expected libraries and librarianship to be like in the mid to late twentieth century. They expected librarians would be involved in a variety of services and outreach activities such as teaching children in the schools. These writers also anticipated a publishing glut with more books being printed than any library could acquire. Budgets, consequently, were expected to be tight. Though no one foresaw the computer, most expected technology to have an increasingly important role. Improvements in mechanical devices also meant a unified national catalog might be realized. This would be but the harbinger of other cooperative activities such as inter-library reference and lending. Writers also expected libraries would be imposing edifices. Finally, many forecast that librarians would become professionals.     

Scenario planning in public libraries: a discussion

The authors explore the use of scenario planning in public libraries via a Q&A discussion. They discuss the impact of unexpected events and unwelcome trends on libraries’ future, explain the distinction between scenario work and forecasting, and outline a practical approach to devising and delivering scenario planning activities at a local library level. This discussion, which took place at Oxford University’s Said Business School on 23 August 2018, explores the use of scenario planning in public libraries.
