COUNTER R5的新特性及对图书馆的影响

COUNTER是规范网络化电子资源使用统计报告数据处理、审核和提交的国际化标准,是图书馆电子资源使用量统计和评估的核心要素。目前COUNTER已经发布了最新版本R5,了解R5的新特性及与之前版本的不同对于图书馆的电子资源统计工作具有重要意义。本文拟从COUNTERR5的报告设置、报告的指标类型、数据类型、访问类型和其他完善报告的属性来解析R5,同时介绍R5对SUSHI收割的影响、"持续维护"的概念、R5发布对图书馆的影响和R5实施的重要时间节点,同时也对R5较之R4的发展和不同进行了比较和分析。COUNTERR5的主要关注点是一致性、清晰性和简单性,较之COUNTERR4有了明显的完善,同时包含了持续的维护过程,允许对代码进行更新而不必再引入一个全新的版本,解决了版本升级会对供应商和图书馆带来的各种时间和人员成本的影响。     

加快黄冈新型工业化进程的对策研究

黄冈经济是以传统产业为主导,在推进新型工业化进程中,存在着技术水平低、产业集中度低、科技投入不足、创新能力不强等问题。本文认为,黄冈经济发展要把握重点产业,推动产业集群发展;以信息化推进黄冈工业化;加速城镇化,提高城市经营水平;全面发展服务业,提高为工业化和人民生活服务的能力;加大制度创新、科技创新和管理创新力度,走一条跨越式的工业化发展道路。     

Blockchain and sustainable supply chain management in developing countries

Theoretical, empirical and anecdotal evidence suggests that there are more violations of sustainability principles in supply chains in developing countries than in developed countries. Recent research has demonstrated that blockchain can play an important role in promoting supply chain sustainability. In this paper we argue that blockchain’s characteristics are especially important for enforcing sustainability standards in developing countries. We analyze multiple case studies of blockchain projects implemented in supply chains in developing countries to assess product quality, environmental accounting and social impact measurement. We have developed seven propositions, which describe how blockchain can help address a number of challenges various stakeholders face in promoting sustainable supply chains in developing countries. The challenges that the propositions deal with include those associated with an unfavorable institutional environment, high costs, technological limitations, unequal power distribution among supply chain partners and porosity and opacity of value delivery networks.     

Heritage education in the Primary School Standard Curriculum of Malaysia

Due to the importance of education for sustainable heritage preservation, it is imperative to pay attention to how heritage is taught in the education system. As a multicultural country with a rich cultural heritage, Malaysia is home to four world heritage sites. This paper investigates Malaysia's new primary school curriculum to determine to what extent the core curriculum cultivates an awareness of and sense of respect for heritage. The results reveal a focus on Malaysian intangible cultural heritage in some core subjects, such as history, Bahasa Malaysia, art, and music education.     

Socioeconomic segregation between and within curriculum tracking

Previous studies have documented social segregation for single types of tracking, but little previous research has compared levels of segregation across different institutional tracking arrangements. This paper uses extensive administrative data of the Chilean educational system to estimate the magnitude and evolution of socioeconomic segregation between- and within-school curriculum tracking. Results indicate that the unequal distribution of students by socioeconomic status between tracks narrows when tracking takes place within schools, mainly in the presence of market incentives that lead schools to focus on particular student populations.

The debate over the National Curriculum for history in England and Wales, 198990: the role of the press

The construction of a history curriculum for England and for Wales under the terms of the 1988 Education Reform Act occasioned more debate in the media than any other subject in the National Curriculum. The links between the content of a history syllabus and perceptions within both nations of the part this plays in moulding national spirit made this inevitable. The disparity of view between the two groups charged with devising the syllabus and the government, particularly the Prime Minister, heightened the tension. This article explores the way in which consequent political, professional and public discussion was covered in the whole range of national newspapers. It is argued that the failure of the London press to comprehend the situation in Wales reduced significantly its appreciation of the processes involved in the making of the history curriculum.
