文学性坚守:翻译由意义传达到诗意探索——以张爱玲自译小说The Golden Cangue为例

论文尝试用西方现代翻译理论，解读张爱玲改写和翻译《金锁记》的第4个译本The Golden Cangue，以期考察她如何在客观求真的文本表象下，由翻译传达词语的信息与意义上升到翻译是诗意的探索，并在实践上参与了西方现代翻译理论的建构。     

‘It's The Catcher in the Rye… He said it was the kind of book you made your own': Finding Holden in Contemporary YA Literature

Published in 1951,The Catcher in the Rye encapsulated teenage angst. Some time ago David Belbin mused about the influence of Catcher on the proliferation and popularity of YA literature. Salinger's recent death has sparked a renewed interest in his work and more attention on Holden and his inheritors. This article discusses how five recent adolescent novels, with male protagonists, mirror Holden's adolescent paralysis. They exist in a liminal state between childhood and adulthood, attempting to understand the phonies around them. These protagonists help define the nature of the ‘lost’ adolescent in the current golden age of YA literature.     

《紫色》:一部黑人女性的成长小说

采用题材批评法,运用成长小说理论分析美国著名黑人女作家艾丽斯.沃克的代表作《紫色》中所具有的成长小说特征,探索这部小说的成长主题,以期证明《紫色》是一部典型的成长小说,从而为读者欣赏这部小说提供一个新的角度,同时为国内外学者对成长小说的研究特别是黑人女性成长小说的研究起到抛砖引玉的作用。     

民国军官短剑考释

民国军官短剑在中国历史上匆匆而过,加之政治原因,使本来很平常的物件变得扑朔迷离。据文献与实物考证,民国军官短剑实际发源于庐山军官训练团时期的＂庐山剑＂,陆军军官学校中的＂中正剑＂只是对＂庐山剑＂的改进与发扬,后来才衍生出形形色色的军官短剑,1936年把短剑列入陆军服制。短剑的名目繁多,每种说法都有其来源,实际其真实的名字就是短剑。它的产生是在特殊背景下,各种因素促成的结果。     

浅析当前我国经济体制下如何增加居民收入

党的十七届五中全会,审议通过了《中共中央关于制定国民经济和社会发展第十二个五年规划的建议》。《建议》明确提出,要保障和改善民生,促进社会公平正义。这是十分正确的,也是十分必要的。文章将从以下几个方面进行简单的阐述:一、我国经济持续快速增长,但是,我国居民的个人收入却没有跟上经济的增长,以至于出现了"国进民退"、"国富民弱"的矛盾;二、我国要实现由投资、出口拉动型向消费型经济增长方式转变,增加居民收入是必然要求;三、如何使人民群众从经济增长中受益。

School context and instructional capacity: A comparative study of professional learning communities in rural and urban schools in China

This study examines the teaching gap between rural and urban schools in China from the perspective of teacher professional learning communities (PLCs). Drawing on in-depth interviews with 36 primary school teachers, the study finds striking disparities between rural and urban schools in the working of Teaching and Research Groups (TRGs). These disparities in TRGs result in divergent patterns of instructional capacity building in rural and urban schools. The evidence shows that teaching and teachers are strongly shaped by the school organizational context. It suggests that strengthening school-wide PLCs is an important way of narrowing the rural-urban teaching and learning gaps.     

Bad boys,good girls? Implicit and explicit attitudes toward ethnic minority students among elementary and secondary school teachers

Teachers’ attitudes toward ethnic minority students might differ by students’ gender and the type of school teachers are working in because of different motivations for teaching and different school practices. Hence, the aim of the current research was to investigate elementary (n = 82) and secondary school (n = 82) teachers’ implicit and explicit attitudes toward male and female ethnic minority students. Teachers worked on either a male or a female Implicit Association Test and filled out a gender-specific questionnaire for measuring explicit attitudes. The results showed that elementary and secondary school teachers had negative implicit attitudes toward ethnic minority students, independent of students’ gender. Whereas secondary school teachers were implicitly more positive toward boys, elementary school teachers were implicitly more positive toward girls. Elementary school teachers were more enthusiastic about teaching ethnic minority boys than girls. The findings provide the first insights into differences in attitudes between elementary and secondary school teachers.     

The effects of school-based physical activity interventions on students' health-related fitness knowledge: A systematic review

This systematic review includes 34 studies examining the effects of school-based physical activity interventions on students' health-related fitness knowledge. The study design, methodological quality, and effectiveness of interventions on students' health-related fitness knowledge were analysed. The majority of the studies (79.4%) revealed significant positive intervention effects on students' health-related fitness knowledge. Studies examining adolescents were more frequently in a position to influence students' health-related fitness knowledge (87.5%) than studies examining children (75%), and studies with low methodological quality (88.8%) had more frequent positive effects than studies with moderate quality (75%). The effects on students' health-related fitness knowledge were independent of moderator variables such as the intervention content, duration and frequency. Only few studies were able to simultaneously positively influence students' health-related fitness knowledge and students' physical activity and/or fitness levels. These programmes can positively influence students' health-related fitness knowledge, but it remains unclear what the practical significance of these changes is. Further research is needed to clarify the influence of students' health-related fitness knowledge on reflection, understanding, physical activity behaviour, and overall physical literacy levels.
