This paper proposes a framework for exploring creative thinking in the early years of school. It explores creative thinking as characterised in two significant curriculum landmarks applicable to young children: Plowden from the 1960s and the Early Learning Goals from 2000. It proposes 'little c creativity' as a way of conceptu alising creativity, arguing that it represents the start of a 'third wave' of understanding the meaning and potential of creativity in the early years of education. Drawing on empirical observations from a number of nursery and early years classrooms in England, it raises some pedagogical and systemic issues around fostering 'little c creativity' in the early years of education. 相似文献

发展第三方物流对惠州市经济发展具有重大意义。通过对惠州市所属第三方物流企业进行调查, 研究发现: 惠州市具有发展第三方物流的有利条件, 现有的物流企业经营规模较小, 经营状况较好, 但人力资源缺乏; 针对惠州市第三方物流发展中资源分散、服务范围和功能窄、管理水平滞后、发展存在误区和认识水平低等现实问题, 建议从更新理念、加大政府的宏观调控力度、培养物流专业人才、成立物流行业协会、加强信息化建设和发展重点产业的第三方物流等五个方面来引导惠州第三方物流企业健康发展。 相似文献

Post‐compulsory education in the UK is growing in complexity. A little explored feature of this complexity is the development of collaborative arrangements between higher education institutions and providers of sixth form education under which students can study university modules whilst pursuing their sixth form studies. This article reports the findings of a recent project designed to explore the feasibility of such arrangements. A range of existing provision is identified focusing on both academic high achievers and students from socio‐economic groups that are currently under‐represented in higher education. The article reviews such arrangements in the context of government policy, the changing nature of sixth form and higher education, and the boundaries that have been drawn between what have traditionally been viewed as separate elements of the English and Welsh education systems. It considers the impact of such provision on the two main groups of students studied and highlights some of the issues arising out of these partnerships between higher education and sixth form institutions. 相似文献

Recent studies show that national control of K–12 curriculum yields important payoffs in terms of greater curricular coherence and, as a result, higher test performance on international tests such as those used in the Third International Mathematics and Science Study. This paper examines the connection between national control of curriculum and curricular consistency and coherence, a variable known to have a positive impact on student test‐score performance. The results of several analyses reveal that national control of curriculum, viewed apart from the most important ‘function’ associated with such control (i.e. enhanced credibility), makes no contribution to curricular consistency or coherence. 相似文献

国外毛泽东研究领域第三次论战主要是围绕心理分析方法,即从微观方面勾画毛泽东思想肖像而展开的"争论"。唯物史观只是提供了从总体上把握毛泽东的方法,只是构建了毛泽东的"整体骨架"。用心理分析方法"走进"毛泽东的内心世界,是对唯物史观的有效补充。但同时必须深刻认识到心理分析方法固有的弊端,否则只能是历史唯心主义的解释。在尝试走进毛泽东的内心世界的同时,我们还必须学会走出。 相似文献

In this paper, we present the design, development, implementation and evaluation of educational software “Newton-3”, aiming
at the learning of Newton’s Third Law by student-teachers who are not Physics majors. We describe the theoretical issues of
our teaching approach and the various software tasks that we designed in order to promote students’ understanding. Specifically,
the software is designed for the teaching of gravitational and electrostatic interactions between two distant bodies at rest.
It is a web-based application and runs on a simple web browser with Macromedia Flash plug-in installed. The development of
software and its integration into teaching–learning sequence is based on three main characteristics: the range of contexts
in which the concept of force interaction applies, in the specification of the concept, and in an appropriate teaching learning
environment (IDRF). We trialled the software on two groups of 8 primary school and 8 pre-school student-teachers, for 3 teaching
periods, in the School of Education of our University. The research results indicate that the implementation was effective
as the majority of the teacher-students improved their own knowledge concerning the existence and representation of gravitational
and electrostatic interactions. An interesting result reveals that student-teachers have difficulty in perceiving the equality
of magnitudes of action and reaction forces. This problem seems to be overcome after the teaching of the Inverse square law. 相似文献
