跨国公司在华并购的动因及对策分析

20世纪80年代以来,随着经济全球化的发展,跨国并购已成为国际对外直接投资的重要方式和跨国公司进行全球化扩张的重要手段。随着我国加入世贸组织,中国的市场容量大且具有广阔的发展潜力,发达国家不仅将生产基地向中国转移,同时在金融服务领域也加大了投资。跨国公司并购是一种市场行为,同时也应该注意到跨国公司在华的大肆并购将对我国的经济产生一定的负面影响,本文正是基于此考虑,来浅析跨国公司在华并购的动因并提出相应的对策。     

Representing Islam in the Wake of September 11: A Comparison of US Television and CNN Online Messageboard Discourses

This paper contrasts the immediate representations of Islam on US television and CNN's online messageboard by focusing on the noun phrases for 'Islamic' used in both media fora from September 11 to 16. The study found some notable congruities and differences in the associations made with Islam in each context. It considers these findings in terms of previous research on the representation of Islam and terrorism in 'Western' media; the official insistence that 'we' are not at war with Islam; and media theories of 'framing' and 'reception'.     

西方化东方：西方的文化霸权主义——解读萨义德《东方学》

爱德华.萨义德的《东方学》是后殖民主义研究的一部巨作。自《东方学》出版至今有诸多解读,笔者拟从萨义德对＂东方学＂理解,他本人对东方主义的看法和价值判断以及西方视野下的东方这三个层面,并结合葛兰西的马克思主义和福柯的话语理论来对《东方学》做深一步的解读。在思考西方人眼中＂东方＂的同时也进行东方自身的反省。     

澳大利亚大学质量保障署的跨国高等教育质量审核初探

澳大利亚大学质量保障署是一个独立于政府之外的质量保障机构,对澳大利亚跨国高等教育质量的审核起着举足轻重的作用。澳大利亚大学质量保障署跨国教育质量保障框架的构建体现了不同于我国跨国教育评估的理念和策略,有可资斟酌和借鉴之处。本文尝试对此议题进行评析,并对我国的跨国高等教育评估体系的构建提出一些建议。     

多视角下的语篇与世界之关系

语篇与其所反映的世界是相互影响、不可分割的。Johnstone在其《话语分析》一书中,从批评话语分析、语篇的照应和语篇的理解、萨丕尔-沃尔夫假说以及新马克思主义等四个角度探讨了语篇与世界之间的关系。其中批评话语分析作为一种语言分析的方法,已为许多社会科学所用,并贯穿文章始终;语篇照应和理解是从认知的角度认识心理表征;萨丕尔-沃尔夫假说则从语言与思维的辩证关系着手;新马克思主义角度则把语篇的社会性理论与语篇分析方法相结合,从而比较全面地揭示了语篇与世界的关系。     

播客的社会文本意义解读

本文从符号学和传播学的视角,对国内外迅速兴起的“播客”现象进行较为深入的文本意义解读。笔者认为,作为社会文本的播客,其意义是:在播客特定的语境下,人们借助不同的符号系统,使“自我实现”得到最大的满足并正逐步融入社会。从编码者的角度看,这种“自我的实现”的特点是,话语权力的获得和“超符号”的自由交流。而译码者的“自我实现”的特点,则是通过解释权的回归,使可读的文本和可写的文本得以沟通。     

Narrative construction of teacher identity: positioning and negotiation

This study investigates the ways in which the disciplines of science and literature influence concepts related to thinking among teachers at colleges of education. Tools were developed to distinguish between what teachers declared to be important in the thinking skills necessary for their discipline and the skills the teachers actually used. A quantitative and qualitative analysis was carried out of the findings. Thinking skills unique to each discipline and common thinking skills were found. The study revealed the discrepancy between the declared views of thinking skills held by teachers and their active use. Results of this research can help build an environment that develops a culture of thinking among both teachers and future teachers in educational colleges.     

Premature closure and guided reinvention: a case study in a web‐based learning environment

Just as linguistic errors have provided insights into the nature of linguistic competence(s), detailed analyses of blind spots or marked trajectories in the reflection cycles of novice teachers may provide a window on their underlying beliefs, and thus on relevant zones of proximal development. In this paper we analyse a case study in an experimental web‐based learning environment in which a novice teacher demonstrably just reproduces the assumptions she started out with rather than re‐inspecting them. Having located a problem of motivation uniquely inside the learners’ heads, she pointedly ignores hints in the feedback that her own verbal and nonverbal behaviour in the classroom might be a relevant domain of enquiry. Our findings show the need for structural interventions within a priori hypothesized, linearly ordered, stages in reflection models. We report on two small‐scale experiments that implement suggested changes in the architecture of the web site which yield more context‐sensitive ways of scaffolding reflection. In conclusion we argue that detailed discursive accounts of successful and less successful reflection trajectories are needed to refine and further develop models in teacher thinking.
