对图书馆志愿服务活动的再认识

现今图书馆越来越多地引入了志愿者服务,给工作带来了不少帮助。然而,笔者认为,我们对图书馆志愿服务活动的认识还有所局限。要使志愿服务活动长久开展下去,我们可以拓宽思路,加深认识,以使志愿者这一资源得以更好的利用。     

Acceptance of public cloud storage services in South Korea: A multi-group analysis

As cloud computing has spread from the enterprise sector to individuals, there has been a growing need for research on the adoption of cloud computing at the individual level. However, relatively little research has investigated the differences and similarities between users and nonusers regarding the individual-level technology acceptance. To fill this gap, this study explored the differences and similarities between users and nonusers in the context of public cloud storage services of South Korea. Data (users = 210; nonusers = 187) were analyzed using structural equation modeling. For social influence, there was a significant difference between users and nonusers. For users, social influence was not a determinant for positive intention to use PCSS, whereas it was a determinant for nonusers. For other factors, there were no significant differences between the two groups, but each showed meaningful similarities: habit was the strongest predictor of the intention to use for both users and nonusers, whereas hedonic motivation was not an important concern for both; performance expectancy was a determinant for positive intention to use PCSS for both groups. Effort expectancy was a determinant for positive intention to use PCSS for users, whereas it was not a determinant for nonusers. These results can provide academic researchers and businesses with insights into individual-level adoption of cloud computing.     

高校图书馆义务馆员管理探讨

高校图书馆吸收义务馆员参与图书馆的管理和服务工作,为学生提高综合素质提供了实践平台,架起了图书馆与读者的桥梁,培养了图书馆的得力助手,使图书馆能为读者提供更好的服务,提高图书馆在读者心中的地位,扩大图书馆的影响力,提升图书馆的服务形象。     

《三国志》中的投降礼仪

三国时代征战频繁,军事行动失败一方的人员多有选择投降自保的,执行者有皇帝、刺史、州牧、军阀、家将、幕僚等。其中蜀国刘禅和吴国孙⑦在面对敌军来临,己方的军事行动失败之时,均选择投降自保。刘禅和孙⑦均执行了《左传》记载的面缚和舆榇的投降礼仪,且在出降之前遣使奉降书于对方统帅。奉降书是先秦两汉投降礼仪中没有记载的新形式。《三国志》的作者陈寿是蜀、吴两国灭亡的见证者,他对于投降礼仪的记载拥有极高的可信度。     

Voluntary organizations and the contribution to social justice in schools: learning from a case study

Partnerships are seen as vital to the functioning of many social institutions and the contribution that the private and voluntary not‐for‐profit sector organizations can make to the provision of statutory services is particularly valued. The Church of England Children’s Society Genesis project worked for nearly 5 years in one urban, secondary school with a remit to promote inclusion. Despite much recorded good work, Genesis was not continued after its contract ended. The school had a series of head teachers and was in special measures for part of the period, but key problems centred around the extent of the project’s contribution to the school’s core business and the absence of a positive management of the multi‐professional project by the school. The evaluation examines ways of proceeding which are of relevance to more complex projects. The paper also reviews the place of voluntary and non‐profit making organizations in meeting current challenges to collaborative, multi‐agency working and proposes a more robust, directive, and managerialist approach to make the most efficient and effective use of the resources and expertise of voluntary and statutory agencies (Inter‐agency Czar and Stalinist environment!). Genesis has gone on to work more successfully in six further schools having absorbed the messages of the evaluation of this first enterprise.

文章以中山大学博雅班与广州图书馆合作开展的系列公益活动为例,从志愿者招募、志愿者管理机制、活动策划、实施情况切入,分析了公共图书馆和高校合作开展公益活动的方式及有益之处,试图建立一种公共图书馆和高校合作开展志愿服务的长效机制。     

Environmental management systems and technological environmental innovations: Exploring the causal relationship

Within the discussion of voluntary proactive approaches to environmental protection, former micro-econometric studies analyze the causal effect of the adoption of environmental management systems (EMS) on technological environmental innovations and find some positive impacts. Based on empirical studies which consider the effect of general innovativeness on the adoption of voluntary environmental programs (VEP) as well as based on insights from the resource-based view of the firm, we contrarily hypothesize in this paper that EMS could also reversely be affected by environmental product or process innovations. This hypothesis is empirically examined with a unique firm-level data set from the German manufacturing sector. Our econometric analyses with uni- and multivariate probit models imply a significantly positive effect of environmental process innovations on certified EMS. According to this, the causal relationship between EMS and technological environmental innovations is obviously not clear.     

尚可喜之降与毛文龙之死

尚可喜降金与毛文龙之死是密切相关的,毛文龙被杀后,东江镇的形势发生了巨大变化,内部相互攻杀兼并,在这种兼并斗争中,尚可喜与沈世魁结下了不解之怨,沈世魁日后"寅缘得岛帅",便欲置尚可喜于死地,尚可喜走投无路,被迫走上了降金的道路.可以说,尚可喜的降金是毛文龙死后东江镇形势变化的结果,毛文龙之死是构成尚可喜降金的间接原因.     

从芷江“和平节”展馆翻译问题对地方外宣翻译的思考

"和平节"的定期举行,使地处湘西一隅的偏远小县芷江在国内外的知名度和影响力不断扩大。然而,与之极不协调的是,笔者发现,举办"和平节"纪念活动的两个最重要的场所"受降坊"和"飞虎馆"展馆里的文字翻译存在不少显而易见的问题。就此进行分析和探讨,并提出相应的措施,以期抛砖引玉,引发同行对地方外宣翻译的思考,也希望能引起相关部门的关注和重视,并最终作出相应的改进,从而达到理想的宣传效果。     

The Perpetual Education Fund: Providing higher education loans in the voluntary sector

Although many strategies are proposed to reduce the opportunity gap in higher education between and within countries, student loans with cost recovery measures are often preferred during times of fiscal constraint. This study briefly reviews the benefits and challenges of student loans over other forms of financial aid and presents the case for voluntary sector involvement in contexts where government and market failures constrain effective solutions. It describes an innovative program that has emerged to meet this challenge—the Perpetual Education Fund. This program utilizes public–private partnerships, a large financial corpus, pre-existing administrative structures, personal relationships, local vocational schooling, and intergroup solidarity to administer loans and recover costs. Because voluntary sector participation in loan financing and administration is relatively new, the experiences and innovative survival strategies of this program have valuable implications for other emerging programs.
