基于Web2.0的高校图书馆学科知识服务模式研究

学科建设是构筑高等学校核心竞争能力的必由之路。学科建设需要高校多个部门之间的合作。应用Web2.0技术构建学科知识服务模式,是网络环境下高校图书馆学科知识服务的一种主要形式。在简述Web2.含义的基础上,探讨了基于Web2.0的高校图书馆学科知识服务平台的架构,并以QQ和博客为例,阐述了学科知识服务的实现途径。     

生命的设计——基于人类2.0

哲学人类学从传统上无需辩驳是致力于"人类1.0"的,人类1.0符合人类自身体出生就存在的默认的规范性期望。然而,这一关于存在的存在轨迹总是被引向两个不同的方向,一个使我们更深地嵌入自然,另一个则让我们超越自然[1]第二章。本文将从"人类2.0"的"后-"和"超人类"的视角之间的一个新兴分支的角度来考察这两种景象——首先从概念上考察,然后就他们具体的生存条件和教育需求的各自含义来进行。同时,这两种情形清楚表明"人类2.0"是关于功能对形式的符合或信息对媒介的符合。最后,文章将转入考察"人类2.0"的神学基础,并与将科学看做人成为神的顶点这一认识联系起来,通过人成为神这一过程,经由一种世界和自我转化的持续进程,进而意识到我们这一存在的神性的潜在。     

Online undergraduate students’ perceptions of the impact of Web 2.0 on higher education / Percepciones de estudiantes de licenciatura en línea sobre el impacto de la Web 2.0 en educación superior

Abstract

Although Web 2.0 has changed students’ roles, placing them at the centre of the teaching-learning process, attitudes towards Web 2.0 have been observed to have a relation with its use in a formal academic context. An instrument was applied to higher education students in Mexico to explore their perceptions by collecting information on students’ attitudes, training and use of Web 2.0, and its impact on higher education. The findings showed that training in Web 2.0 determines use of it, as well as the attitudes towards it and the possible impact these can have on teaching-learning processes. No differences were found regarding participants’ gender in relation to their perceptions of the use of Web 2.0 as a learning environment.     

Use of social web technologies by international and domestic undergraduate students: implications for internationalising learning and teaching in Australian universities

Much research into the use of online information and communication technologies for the internationalisation of learning and teaching has focused on established web technologies. This paper considers the possible internationalisation implications of existing uses of social software, also known as Web 2.0 technologies, which are now widely available inside and outside of formal education settings. The paper reports on two studies: the first, conducted at a large Australian university, investigated differences between international and domestic undergraduate students’ (n = 1973) use of web‐based technologies and tools; the second investigation reports on interviews with eight Australian and eight Singaporean university students about their use and perceptions of blogs and blogging. The findings from two studies provide new evidence of both cultural similarities and cultural differences in aspects of young university students’ use of social software for communication and content creation. Discussion and conclusions draw out factors to be considered in planning to implement new uses of social software among culturally and linguistically diverse students of the Net Generation, in Australia and more generally.     

Information Technology Courses in Teacher Education: the need for integration

ABSTRACT

Although computers have become common features of schools worldwide, their impact on education and learning has been far less than what could be expected from such a versatile and powerful technology. A significant deterrent has been teachers’ lack of skills and expertise with the new technologies but although computer education is increasingly becoming a significant component within teacher education programmes, this paper will argue that the direction and nature of the teaching and learning in many of these courses is counter‐productive and unable to provide the skills and expertise required from new teaching graduates. The paper posits that these skills can best be developed and achieved through instructional programmes in teacher education that mirror the models that student teachers will be required to embrace in their own classrooms. In order to achieve this, the IT component within teacher education must become an integral part of the programme.     

Solo Librarian and Outreach to Hospital Staff Using Web 2.0 Technologies

The part-time librarian at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC) serves physicians, staff, and students. Challenged by time constraints and the need for a physical presence in the library, the librarian sought methods requiring limited manpower and maintenance to reach out to users. The librarian utilized two Web 2.0 technologies, Delicious and Bloglines, to extend library services beyond the confines of the hospital intranet. This article details the process to implement these two technologies in the hospital setting. Informational resources about Web 2.0 technologies are included in the article.     

Isolated to Integrated: An Evolving Medical Informatics Curriculum

ABSTRACT

A library-led introductory informatics theme has been part of the Albany Medical College undergraduate medical school curriculum as a concurrent theme since 1993. Initially, classes were limited to large group sessions focusing on general searching skills. Over the past several years, course content has been expanded and increasingly integrated into other themes and clerkships. Web-based self-paced tutorials have replaced many classroom sessions, and Web 2.0 technologies have been introduced. Collaborations with clinical and basic science faculty in other themes supplement and strengthen the theme.     

Collaboration at the Troy University Libraries

With relatively new staff in all the Troy University campus libraries technical services departments, it was critical to collaborate on policies and procedures for consistency. Developing an online manual housed on a wiki that could be used and contributed to by staff on all three campuses was essential to this goal. Multi-campus meetings and online discussions are additional methods we use to promote collaboration. This article will include a literature review of collaboration and wikis along with methods the Troy University Libraries Technical Services departments are using to establish communication across the campuses.     

Library 2.0: A Review of the Literature

In recent years the professional literature has seen an increase in articles written about Library 2.0 implementation in academic reference departments. These articles have focused on the integration and introduction of services such as blogs, wikis, social networking Websites, RSS, and podcasting. This article reviews the content of this literature to see which articles demonstrate a qualitative or quantitative benefit to the libraries where they are used.

目前,利用Web技术搭建在线信息素养教育平台,通过平台对学生进行信息素养教育已成为世界各国高校在信息素养教育教学方面所采用的主流教学方式。与国外高校相比,我国高校在在线信息素养教育教学方面存在不少问题,在分析目前我国高校图书馆在在线信息素养教育方面存在的相关问题的基础上,论述了基于Web2.0高校图书馆在线信息素养教育平台的构建。
