骨腱结合部损伤模型建立及伤后低强度循环载荷对愈合的影响

骨腱结合部过度使用性损伤常见于运动员。研究伤后48h进行低强度载荷训练对急性骨腱结合部损伤愈合的影响。研究对象和方法:12只雌性成年新西兰大白兔的后肢通过针刺建立急性损伤组(AI,n=6),伤后48h开始进行四周低强度训练建立伤后低强度训练组(PIERT,n=6)和对照组(CON,n=6)。第四周取样的标本结果提示,PIERT组的骨小梁厚度明显小于AI和CON组;和CON组相比,AI和PIERT组的胶原排列明显紊乱,瘢痕组织多,细胞密度低;PIERT组的纤维软骨带厚度明显厚于AI组。建立了一个定量、可重复骨腱结合部微细损伤动物模型,并发现伤后48h开始低强度训练没有延缓损伤愈合,并对结构重建具有一定促进作用。     

Latina/o Parent Organizing for Educational Justice: An Ethnographic Account of Community Building and Radical Healing

This article describes a parent organizing effort with Latina/o immigrant parents in a large, high-poverty, racially and linguistically diverse urban school district. Drawing from ethnographic research and the theoretical framework of mujerismo, it examines the relational processes of community building and radical healing that occurred in weekly community-based parent workshops. Findings suggest the need for more research that empirically examines the relational, embodied, and pedagogical dimensions of parent organizing work.     

Humor and Healing in College Counseling

Humor is an often neglected but potentially powerful tool in college counseling center interventions. In this article we review potential benefits and hazards of using humor in a college mental health setting along with perspectives on humor’s mechanism of action and distinctions between types of humor. Therapist and client-specific considerations, such as culture and identity, are discussed in relation to the judicious use of humor in individual therapy. Based on our experience employing these techniques at an urban, private university counseling center, we make specific recommendations for the application of humor in therapy, the counseling center environment, and outreach materials.     

Low-intensity pulsed ultrasound therapy: a potential strategy to stimulate tendon-bone junction healing

Incorporation of a tendon graft within the bone tunnel represents a challenging clinical problem. Successful anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction requires solid healing of the tendon graft in the bone tunnel. Enhancement of graft healing to bone is important to facilitate early aggressive rehabilitation and a rapid return to pre-injury activity levels. No convenient, effective or inexpensive procedures exist to enhance tendon-bone (T-B) healing after surgery. Low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) improves local blood perfusion and angiogenesis, stimulates cartilage maturation, enhances differentiation and proliferation of osteoblasts, and motivates osteogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), and therefore, appears to be a potential non-invasive tool for T-B healing in early stage of rehabilitation of ACL reconstruction. It is conceivable that LIPUS could be used to stimulate T-B tunnel healing in the home, with the aim of accelerating rehabilitation and an earlier return to normal activities in the near future. The purpose of this review is to demonstrate how LIPUS stimulates T-B healing at the cellular and molecular levels, describe studies in animal models, and provide a future direction for research.     

Healing trauma and spiritual growth: the relevance of religious education to emotionally and behaviourally disturbed children looked after by local authorities

In this article, Maria Poyser looks at the relevance of religious education (RE) to looked‐after young people who have been labelled emotionally and behaviourally disturbed (EBD). She begins by painting an overall picture of the education of looked‐after young people and examines the concept of what being ‘looked after’ means. The article highlights the problem of a disproportionate number of looked‐after young people ending up in special schools catering for EBD children and challenges schools to look at ways of preventing this. It poses the question: are these children emotionally and behaviourally disturbed or in fact the victims of post‐traumatic stress disorder (PSTD)? The writer goes on to examine the fact that trauma does not have to be a life sentence. It has the potential to be one of the most significant forces for psychological, social and spiritual awakening and evolution.

普外科术后伤口愈合不良的相关因素研究

目的:探讨普外科术后伤口愈合不良的相关因素,为术后伤口的护理提供依据。方法:对普外科150例手术患者的临床资料进行回顾性分析,记录可能与伤口愈合相关的因素以及伤口愈合的情况。结果:logistic回归分析结果显示:年龄、抗生素使用、基础疾病、手术时间、手术性质、手术切口分类与伤口愈合不良存在相关性(P0.05)。抗生素使用情况是影响术后伤口愈合的重要因素(OR:16.192)。结论:年龄小、联合使用抗生素、无基础疾病、手术时间越短、手术切口分类越小有助于伤口愈合。

Healing the Trauma of Sethe:A Psychological Study on Toni Morrison’s Beloved

Beloved is one of Toni Morrison’s most famous novels and attracts much attention from the public.This essay aims to ana?lyze the healing process of Sethe’s trauma from the perspective of psychological analysis. There are four parts. First, it introduces the plot of the story and the theory. The second part analyzes the forming of Sethe’s trauma and the third part discusses the healing process. The last part reaches the conclusion. By analyzing Sethe’s trauma from psychoanalysis, this paper aims to help these black people to reconstruct their identity and achieve renascence.     

Mindfulness in education at the intersection of science,religion, and healing

This paper investigates mindfulness as a case study of a ‘subjective turn’ in education reflecting a postsecular age. The practice of mindfulness originates in an ancient Buddhist teaching prescribed as part of the path to enlightenment. In spite of its origins, it is becoming widespread within diverse secularly conceived social and educational settings. The paper offers a historical review of this phenomenon and analyzes why and how mindfulness has become the spearhead within a burgeoning ‘contemplative turn’ in education. The thesis suggested is that ‘normal education’ follows ‘normal science’, yet science itself is now being shaken by its own venturing into the ‘dangerous’ waters of the religious experience. The paper reflects critically on the prices and merits of mindfulness in education as a practice shaped by its becoming measurable. It locates these processes as depicting the postsecular age’s blurring of boundaries between religiosity/secularity/education, subject/object, and science/healing/education.
