学院化:美国知识密集型企业的组织趋势

随着企业之间对技术资本和对学术人才的竞争,也随着学术人才与其它学术力量进入到企业,美国知识密集型企业越来越多地采用传统上只属于学术型组织的学院式组织形式,采用学术型组织的制度化措施来提高他们在现代竞争环境中的地位。这一过程带来了企业的机构与制度的重大变化,使美国现代企业,尤其是现代知识密集型企业的发展,出现了组织功能、组织规范和组织结构上的学院化趋势。     

20世纪《史记》"太史公曰"述评

从20世纪80年代开始至本世纪初,《史记》"太史公曰"的研究已经有了20的历史了,它是《史记》研究的一个重要组成部分。就此问题,学人陆续发表了不少的文章,或宏观把握,或微观探析,综合论述了"太史公曰"的方方面面。但也有不足,如关于"太史公曰"的篇目、体例、文学性等问题,还有待作进一步的探讨。     

Many Voices: Building a Biblioblogosphere in Ireland

ABSTRACT

Blogging has been associated with the Library and Information Science (LIS) community for some time now. Libfocus.com is an online blog that was founded in 2011. Its goal was to create a communal communication space for LIS professionals in Ireland and beyond, to share and discuss issues and ideas. The content of the blog is curated by an editorial team and features guest bloggers from across all sectors and experience levels. Using a qualitative methodological approach, open-ended surveys were conducted with twelve previous guest bloggers, in order to explore how and why Irish-based LIS professionals choose to communicate through blogging. It is hoped that this evidence will provide a greater understanding of both the value and effectiveness of blogging as an outreach and communication tool within the profession, helping both libraries and librarians to be more strategic in their use of it as a medium.     

Developing Social Media to Engage and Connect at the University of Liverpool Library

ABSTRACT

This case study presents the Liverpool experience of using social media as an academic library to enhance audience engagement and create a community of users. It looks at the development of social media in the library, focusing on the concerted effort to grow followers and develop a meaningful use of these tools. It considers the value of taking a team approach, ensuring a diversity and breadth of output. Using social media effectively enables libraries to connect with users in a space they already occupy and bring added value to existing activities. A strong, well maintained social media presence enhances a library's national and international profile and ensures good on campus relationships with main stakeholders. This case study demonstrates the relevance of social media as a communication channel and the importance of selecting the correct platform depending on audience or aims. A literature review and recommendations based on experience are included.     

Communicating the Value of an Institutional Repository: Experiences at Ghana's University for Development Studies

ABSTRACT

The quality of research depends greatly on access to existing information. Institutional repositories (IRs) have the potential to enhance and promote the dissemination of knowledge and research. This may lead to discoveries and innovation alongside maximizing return on investment in research and development. Following some background information, this article briefly discusses the processes involved in the establishment of Ghana's University for Development Studies (UDS) IR (UDSspace). Marketing and advocacy strategies employed to engage Faculty to enable them to contribute meaningfully and effectively in the populating of the IR are outlined and benefits described. The study uses a quantitative method. A questionnaire was used to elicit data from faculty. This article describes the various communication methods used to promote the IR and evaluates their effectiveness in getting users to participate in populating the IR. The survey found that although as high as 80.3% of respondents were aware of the benefits of an IR and 66.2% were aware of the existence of the UDS IR, 86.8% of respondents had not submitted to the IR.     

Librarians as Advocates of Social Media for Researchers: A Social Media Project Initiated by Linköping University Library,Sweden

ABSTRACT

Librarians at Linköping University help researchers keep abreast of developments in their fields and to increase the visibility of their work. Strategic, professional use of social media ought to be an essential part of a researcher's communication strategy. This article investigates the level of awareness of the professional use of social media among LiU researchers. The investigation showed that use of social media was not significant; however, a small number saw potential. The purpose of this article is threefold. The first purpose was to evaluate the potential of using social media as a tool for communicating research outside LiU. Second, the article presents a study in which views of LiU researchers on social media were ascertained via seminar discussions, informal feedback, and interviews. The study has a case study approach involving eight researchers. Third, the article covers how LiU Library created a web-based information package to support researchers in social media use.

论构建宗教艺术学的学科基础

宗教艺术学的构建基于宗教与艺术密切的乃至至难分彼此的关系。这种关系，首先表现为宗教是艺术的重要起源，这可从宗教观念刺激神话、图腾艺术的生成，宗教思维奠定艺术思维的基础，宗教礼仪为艺术提供审美形式等方面加以证明，其次表现为艺术在其后的发展中受到宗教的强烈影响，呈现出宗教艺术，宗教题材的世俗化艺术和受宗教影响的世俗题材的艺术等形态。     

融于远程教育教与学的教育技术——专访国际知名远程教育专家特里·安德森教授

特里·安德森(Terry Anderson)博士是位国际知名远程教育专家。目前任职加拿大阿萨巴斯卡大学教授,同时任职设在该校的加拿大全国远程教育研究会的主席。安德森教授在远程教育和教育技术领域涉猎广泛,发表了大量的研究论文,并于近期与他人合著出版了两本新书:《电子研究:方法、问题和战略》(E-Research:Methods,Issues and Strategies),《21世纪的电子学习:研究与实践的框架》(E-Learning in the 21stCentury:A framework for research and practice)。 安德森博士是当地阿尔伯特省、加拿大乃至国际远程教育组织的积极参与者。他主要承担着远程教育硕士教学计划的教育技术课程,并具体负责主持着若干教育技术应用方面的研究课题。 安德森博士同时兼任《加拿大远程教育杂志》(Canadian Journal of Distance Education)、《教育中的互动媒介杂志》(Journal of Interactive Media in Education)、《国际远程教育研究评论》(International Review of Research in DistanceEducation)、《高等教育中的国际互联网》(Internet in Higher Education)、《加拿大学习与技术杂志》(The Canadian Jour-nal of Learning and Technology)等采用同行评审制度的多种学术杂志的编辑评审委员会成员。
