研究生学术道德评价量表的编制及应用

结合研究生学术道德的内涵和所包含的具体内容,采用开放式问卷和专家评价相结合的方法获得问卷题目,编制了包含正确的学术道德认知、健康的学术道德情感、坚强的学术道德意志、端正的学术道德行为四个维度的量表。通过对185个样本进行因素分析,发现本量表具有良好的信度和效度,可以初步作为研究生学术道德评价的工具。     

Academic motivations of Yi youths in China: Classmate support and ethnic identity

To enhance the academic achievements of Yi ethnic minority youths in rural school settings, the authors examined the effect of classmate support and the meditating role of ethnic identity in promoting their academic motivation. Cross-sectional survey data were collected from Yi youths sponsored by a philanthropic organization to attend local schools in Liangshan, rural China (n?=?657; 7–12 years old; 52% boys). Results of structural equation modelling showed that classmate support positively affected ethnic identity-commitment and ethnic identity-exploration, which then had positive impacts on three academic motivation outcomes: intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation-external and identified regulation, and extrinsic motivation-introjected regulation. The mediating effects of ethnic identity-exploration and ethnic identity-commitment were statistically significant, except for the pathway from classmate support to extrinsic motivation-introjected regulation via ethnic identity-commitment. The authors found that ethnic identity can be facilitated through building supportive classroom environment for positive academic motivations in Yi youths. Cross-cultural significance of this study is also discussed.     

Self-assessment in the process of self-regulated learning and its relationship with academic achievement

Abstract

Despite the theoretical argument and empirical evidence regarding the impact of self- assessment on academic achievement and self-regulated learning (SRL), the mechanism for this impact is understudied. The present study aimed to investigate the characteristics of self-assessment practices at different SRL phases and its relationship with academic achievement. Using a course assignment as the learning task, sixty-three students enrolled in a one-year master programme in a teacher education institute responded to an instrument assessing their self-assessment practices (including four self-assessment actions) at the SRL Preparatory, Performance and Appraisal phases of the task. Their final scores of the assignment were also collected. The results showed that self-assessment is a fundamental skill for SRL and occurs at each SRL phase with different patterns. Autoregressive relationships were found for all self-assessment actions between different SRL phases. Self-reflection at Performance phase was found to influence feedback seeking at Appraisal phase. Self-directed feedback seeking through monitoring at Performance phase was the strongest and positive predictor of academic achievement; and achievement had negative impact on all self-assessment actions at Appraisal phase. This study may assist educators and researchers to better understand the complexity of self-assessment in relation to learning process.     

Community engagement is … : revisiting Boyer’s model of scholarship

ABSTRACT

Criticisms have been levelled at academics at a time when funding of universities is increasingly tied to private and corporate purposes and when academics are held accountable through a hierarchy of functions. Claims are also made that academics work within narrow specializations and are removed from real-world experience and problems. Boyer’s model of scholarship offers four categories of scholarship that remain relevant to understanding and guiding the work of academics, including how they engage with communities. To explore the nature of academics’ work, we draw on data provided by a group of academics who participated in a research project using both sociological elicitation and visual arts-based research methodologies. The participants were asked to explore what various aspects of current academic work mean for them by providing an image and text, akin to creating a postcard. In this article, we focus on responses they provided to the prompt ‘Community engagement is?…?’ The postcards show how community engagement can be interpreted in diverse ways and that, along with teaching and research, community engagement are all integrated, mutually reinforcing drivers and outcomes of academic work.

西方一流研究型大学是以其超强的办学实力而不是超大的办学规模享誉世界的，成熟的办学理念和健全的管理制度是其“强校”的品质基础和体制保证。中国研究型大学的建设应首先着眼于“做强”而不是“做大”。     

论职教研究机构的组织文化创新

当前,我国职业教育研究工作已引起社会广泛关注,形成了一定的人员优势、成果优势与管理经验,但在研究取向与管理模式上还存在一定问题,其关键在于未能形成特有的组织文化。职教研究机构特色组织文化构建的核心元素是学术创新,包括创新学术管理的观念与模式,建立学术秩序,培养学术忠诚。     

高职院校单招学生学业情绪的干预研究

为改善高职院校单招学生学业情绪状况,以自我效能感理论及情绪ABC理论为基础制订团体辅导方案。随机招募单招学生组成实验组和对照组,运用干预方案对实验组进行干预。结果显示:团体辅导后,实验组在积极学业情绪两个维度上都得到了显著的提高,消极高唤醒学业情绪显著减少;实验组的积极学业情绪体验要显著高于对照组,消极学业情绪体验要显著低于对照组。可见,团体辅导对改善单招学生的学业情绪具有较好的效果。     

论教师的语言境界

根据教师工作的环境、范围和特点，提出教师应当达到语言的三个优化：一是交往语言的优化，主要是与学生、家长、同事们的轻松对话；二是交际语言的优化，主要是从社会实际出发的课题研究和对外交流；三是学术语言的优化，主要是阅读积累和教学思考所要达到的科研境界。     

学术职业的解读--哲学王的理想与现实

早先被柏拉图称为哲学王的那些智者冒着被世人鄙视的危险引领并指导世人走向光明。随着人类的进步,19世纪初的现代大学制度的建立促进了职业学者阶层的形成,学科制度以及学科规训制度使学科内的学者沿着一条学术职业化的路径发展。从学术职业的框架出发来讨论大学教师甚为重要,以学术职业的概念定位他们才能确定其社会地位,推动学术研究的发展。如何建立一种强有力的机制来真正做到学术自主研究和适应社会两者有机结合互动,是当前亟待解决的问题。
