司法系统运行的若干问题及对策思考

我国司法系统存在着司法的行政化，司法的主动性，合议庭审而不判、审委会判而不审，司法系统机构臃肿、效率低下，法官盼独立又怕独立等一系列问题。形成这些问题的原因在于法律观念的滞后、司法制度法治化理性不足、法官的法律理论素养和司法技能不足等方面。司法观念的法治化更新、符合司法内在要求的司法制度的建立和法官专业水平的提高则为解决这些问题的必须之策。     

Kindergarten Teachers’ Conceptual Framework on the Ozone Layer Depletion. Exploring the Associative Meanings of a Global Environmental Issue

This paper reports on a study conducted among Greek kindergarten teachers aiming to explore their conceptual frameworks on a major environmental issue of our times: the ozone layer depletion. The choice of this particular issue was premised on its novelty, complexity and abstractness which present teachers with difficulties in its teaching. A free word association task was employed to identify the associative meaning of the issue among the participant teachers. The study’s results revealed the existence of a simplistic, linear, cause-and-effect scheme in the teachers’ conceptual frameworks, the two poles of which are “solar radiation” and “its harmful results for human health”. Some of the well-known misconceptions and misunderstandings already emerged in previous research also arise in this study. Prominent among them are the deeply rooted confusion between the “ozone hole” and “greenhouse effect”, a general fusion of ideas concerning all environmental problems and an overemphasis on the harmful consequences of the ozone depletion on human health. Implications for kindergarten teacher education are also discussed.The present study is part of a research project that is co-funded by the European Social Fund and National Resources – (EPEAEK II) PYTHAGORAS II.     

Considering (auto)biography in teaching and learning about race and racism in a diverse university

The ‘sociological imagination’ – the recognition of the relationship between ‘private troubles’ and ‘public issues’ (Mills [1959] 2000 Mills, C. Wright. [1959] 2000. The Sociological Imagination. Oxford: Oxford University Press.[Crossref] , [Google Scholar]. The Sociological Imagination. Oxford: Oxford University Press: 8) – is central to the discipline of sociology. This article reports findings of a 2014 study which investigated students’ views on whether the development of the sociological imagination could be more explicitly embedded in a module on Race and Racisms through an (auto)biographical approach from teachers and the module’s racially diverse students. After reviewing benefits and challenges to an (auto)biographical approach, the article presents findings from a student focus group, concluding that students would welcome (auto)biographical approaches to the topic of race and racism, with the caveat that this is handled sensitively with steps taken to minimise the risk of emotional harm.     

Rethinking Taiwanese nationality and subjectivity: implications from language issues in colonial Taiwan in the 1920s

This historical study reflects on history curriculum debates over the last 20 years in Taiwan. To open up possibilities for contemporary Taiwanese to rethink themselves in terms of national culture and subjectivity, this paper explores the construction of Taiwanese subjectivity in the past. It focuses on the history of Taiwan under Japanese occupation as a key issue in history curriculum debates. Particularly, it examines language issues in the 1920s, an important theme in the histories of the formation of Taiwanese consciousness, ideology, and cultural nationalism during the Japanese colonial period. Rather than addressing issues of identity (national or cultural), identifying who Taiwanese really were, or looking for Chinese or Taiwanese consciousness, this study explores how meanings of “Taiwanese” in the 1920s under Japanese occupation were constructed in the discourse of language reform for civilisation. The analysis of the New Culture Movement discourse suggests that the classical Chinese language of Hànwén as a valuable cultural resource and flexible linguistic instrument played an essential role in constituting Taiwanese subjectivities that shaped Taiwanese practices of the self for distinctive civilisation.

实践教育学的探索

在《反思性教学》《实践教育学》《理解教育论》等著作中，我们能看出一种有特色的实践教育学。实践教育学探讨的根本问题是教师“如何发展”与“如何教”的问题。由根本问题衍生出了诸如有效教学的问题、有效学习的问题、增进理解消除误解的问题、反思性教学的问题等一系列下位性问题。实践教育学的探索有一系列前提性的信念。这些信念也是实践教育学的主要成分或者主要观点，其中主要关涉到教育教学、教师、师生关系诸方面。研讨自己设定的基本问题，开发相对稳定的解题模式，是实践教育学的志向之一。实践教育学开发的模式有“教师知能转化”和“创读反思，多重循环”两大教学模式。实践教育学秉持为教师指津的宏旨，在所关心的主要问题上，都有些颇见实效的策略。实践教育学是在深厚的理论基础上，结合对中国教师发展和基础教育实践中的若干主要问题的思考，建构起来的一个理论体系，有六大特色：情感先行、攻心为术、追求效率、追因溯源、操作指南、经验培育。

中关两国都是多民族、多族群的大国,处理好民族关系对于两国都十分重要。由于东西方的文明不同,两国的民族文化也存在差异。在处理民族关系上的政策各有差异,通过对这种差异的研究可以做到相互学习借鉴对方的长处补其不足。
