家长参与子女的学校教育日益得到社会的普遍重视。文章试图对美国在家长参与子女学校教育方面的研究进行综述，从而探讨美国在家长参与子女教育方面的研究轨迹，以期对我国有一定的借鉴。     

Examining how parent and teacher enthusiasm influences motivation and achievement in STEM

Abstract

Parents and teachers play an important role in stimulating student motivation. The aim of this study was to examine if both parent and teacher enthusiasm could predict intrinsic motivation toward STEM activities, and if motivation would be associated with improved STEM achievement over one year in a one-year prospective examination of 288 Swedish students in their final year of a Science High School program (143 females and 145 males). Surveys of parent and teacher enthusiasm were collected at baseline, and student intrinsic motivation and GPA in STEM were assessed at baseline and at the end of the year. Baseline GPA and intrinsic motivation as well as follow-up intrinsic motivation were significantly associated with later GPA. Finally, intrinsic motivation mediated the relation between teacher and parent enthusiasm and change in GPA. Findings show the importance of parent and teacher enthusiasm for adolescent’s intrinsic motivation and achievement in STEM.     

Interactive Homework: A Tool for Fostering Parent–Child Interactions and Improving Learning Outcomes for At-risk Young Children

The notion that parent involvement impacts student learning outcomes for children who are at risk for failing academically has been supported by prominent early childhood education experts. Recent attention has been given to specific ways parents can help increase student learning through their interactions with children as they complete home learning activities. It is important to note that the term parent is used interchangeably with the terms adult, guardian and family member. The term “at-risk reader” refers to readers who are at risk of failing school because of reading deficiencies. This report will examine whether parent training to increase parent–child interactions during the completion of second grade Interactive Homework Assignments (IHA) can facilitate increases in a student’s ability to draw inferences from reading selections, a skill closely aligned with proficiency in reading acquisition. The second grade level was chosen because these children were those whose teachers were concerned with preparing them to take the third grade SAT9. Third grade level was not selected because many of their professional development activities were prescribed due to their immediate concern with preparing students to take the SAT9. IHA, for the scope of this study, is homework designed to increase parent involvement and student achievement. The results indicate that specific parent training during a brief period of time, approximately four weeks, has the potential for improving academic performance for academically at-risk students.

Parental Experiences and Beliefs Regarding Inclusive Placements of their Special Needs Children

Parents of children with special needs face many challenges. One of the challenges is the placement of their children in inclusive early childhood education settings. This article explores these challenges and offers practical suggestions regarding the involvement and support of parents of children with special needs in the placement of their children in appropriate educational settings.

母公司通过资本支配而控制着子公司的经营管理权，如果故意利用自己的公司势力侵害公司、股东及债权人利益，即构成侵权行为责任。本在讨论母公司支配与子公司利益保护的基础上，系统地检计了母公司侵权行为所损害的对象、构成要件和法律救济的途径，提出在现行法构架下依照民法通则第7条规定，以违反社会公德为由追究母公司的侵权行为责任的观点。     

Moving Toward Family-Centered Early Care and Education: The Past, the Present, and a Glimpse of the Future

Over the past 4 decades, early care and education programs in the United States have struggled to overcome obstacles to active parent and family participation, especially in the wake of recent welfare reform guidelines requiring parents to work outside the home. This article highlights the vision and activities of four Wisconsin Early Childhood Centers for Excellence, which offer family-centered services along with services to young children. Using various strategies, these programs have empowered parents and strengthened bonds between parents and professionals. Their success suggests that new models based on family-centered goals can improve the overall quality of early care and education for young children.     

幼儿教育小学化倾向的表现、原因及解决对策

幼儿教育小学化倾向在我国仍然普遍存在,主要表现为:在教育内容上,重视智力教育,轻视德、体、美、劳教育;在教育方法上,重视知识传授,轻视幼儿自主学习;在教育评价上,重视结果评价,轻视过程评价.幼儿家长、教师以及行政主管部门的利益诉求是造成幼儿教育小学化倾向的直接原因.为改变这一现状,需要积极开展家园共建活动,形成幼儿教育合力;需要遵循幼儿成长规律,做好幼小衔接工作;需要加大教育主管部门的监管力度.
