有效的课堂提问所应具备的技巧是 :提出更少的问题、提出更好的问题、提问要有深度、提问要有广度、使用等候时间、选择学生、给予有用的教师反馈。旨在表明有效的课堂提问就是有效的教 ,它不仅能引发学生讲出一些“清晰而生动”的观点 ,而且能激活学生的想象、唤醒学生的思考、鼓励学生的行动…… ,从而使每个学生都能体验到成功的感觉 ,使课堂变成学生主动进取、施展才华、走向成功学习之路的场所     

例谈“三闻三学”课堂教学模式

问题教学法是指以问题为中心进行发展性教学的方法,“三问三学”是问题教学法的一种校本化操作模式。“三问三学”即是将课堂教学过程分为“以问导学”、“自问促学”和“设问测学”三个环节,旨在以问题为栽体,以思维为核心,更好地整合课堂,提高学生参与度。     

Statistical Power for School-Based RCTs With Binary Outcomes

Abstract

This article develops a new approach for calculating appropriate sample sizes for school-based randomized control trials (RCTs) with binary outcomes using logit models with and without baseline covariates. The theoretical analysis develops sample size formulas for clustered designs where random assignment is at the school or teacher level using generalized estimating equation methods. The article focuses on the impact parameter pertaining to rates and proportions rather than to the log odds of response, which has been the focus of the previous literature. The article also compiles intraclass correlations (ICCs) for the clustered design for a range of binary outcomes using data from seven education RCTs. These ICCs and the power formulas are then used to conduct a power analysis using a provided SAS macro; the key finding is that sample sizes of 40 to 60 schools that are typically included in clustered RCTs for student test score or behavioral scale outcomes will often be insufficient for binary outcomes. A key reason is that the potential for precision gains from regression adjustment is likely to be smaller for binary outcomes.     

When Teachers Misspell

Multiple-choice exams are often the standard in large, introductory college courses. Although students sometimes report that multiple-choice exams are easier than essay exams, the multiple-choice format often proves to be more difficult. This may be true because multiple-choice exams in college are often composed predominantly of application questions. They ask students to grapple with scenarios and recognize concepts in context, which proves to be difficult for many students. The author details the changes she has made in her introductory sociology curriculum and discusses some of the indicators of success.     

E-Mail Reference

Summary

This article begins by summarizing national findings of e-mail reference services in academic and public libraries. It next describes types of e-mail reference services as well as commonalities, differences, appearance of the question form, audience, and turnaround time for selected Colorado libraries. The article then focuses on giving a detailed overview and analysis of two years of Colorado State University's e-mail reference experiences. The number, type of question, who/where the questions come from, and to whom the questions are sent are examined. The unexpected uses of the service are identified. Lastly, broader issues to do with e-mail reference services are discussed. This article is based on a presentation given at the Internet Librarian2000 conference.

Locating the most useful of these sites and organizing them into categories on library Web sites can be enormously beneficial both to patrons and libraries. After deciding to make their sites reference portals, librarians must make a number of important decisions.

在现代汉语中,“做”“干”“搞”是使用频率很高的三个动词,它们都具有表达动作和行为的意义,在汉译日的过程中,常常译为日语中的动词「する 」或「やる」.以中国作家莫言小说《蛙》中的例句为例,从中日语言对比的角度,考察现代汉语“做”“干”“搞”对应的日语表达方式,并讨论译为日语动词「する」和「やる」的两种情况,以期通过考察现代汉语“做”“干”“搞”的日语译法,更加准确地掌握日语动词「す为」「やる」的区别与用法.     

船舶造水机实训教学的探讨

分析了目前船舶造水机实训教学的现状,指出了教学中存在的问题和考试评估存在的缺陷,结合新公约下对造水机的实训教学要求,提出了改进造水机实训教学的几点措施,以期改变造水机实训教学不足的现状。通过改进后的教学效果,指出了学生的实操能力得到了提升。

本文以2012年高考数学题为例,说明如何用极限的方法解决不是极限问题的数学问题：（1）确定函数的图像;（2）探寻参数的取值范围;（3）探究函数的最值。
