真正教学的意味——基于赫尔巴特“教育性教学”思想的延展性思考

长期以来,不少教育实践工作者对于真正的教学仍缺乏深刻全面的领会。本文通过回溯教育"善"的内涵衍化,揭示了自古代以来评判教学的视角位移,总体上呈现出从教学的目的论取向到实践伦理立场的变换,并进而考察了近代以来被视为教学理想范型的"教育性教学"命题的本意与价值,及其后来在跨文化传译与诠释过程中发生的价值悖离。进而,从教学的"教育性"延展至"道德性"的讨论,指出当代探求真正教学意味的重点应在关注实践伦理,而其评判标准应坚持"以善致善"即目的与手段的统整性思考。     

基于图画书特质的幼儿园图画书阅读教学策略

图画书是一种把语言与图画两种艺术表现手段很好融合在一起进行故事叙述的艺术形式.教师如果不能很好地把握图画书的这一特质,就会很容易在有关图画书的阅读教学中把文字与图画分割开来,或者把图画书当作传统看图讲述的对象,或者把图画书当作开展综合活动的引子,而忽略图画书自身独特而丰富的价值.为激发幼儿阅读图画书的兴趣,促进其自主阅读能力的发展,深化其阅读体验,教师在利用图画书开展阅读教学时,应善于利用其经过艺术处理的"图像文字",进行声音和空间的再现,使幼儿产生身临其境的阅读感受;应善于抓住其中隐形的关键人物,再造有关人物形象;应能灵活运用多种翻页技巧,把握文本节奏;应关注画面细节,深度挖掘故事内涵.     

美国《开端计划执行标准》评介

美国开端计划是由美国联邦政府制订并推行的一项主要针对处境不利学前儿童及其家庭的国家行动计划,作为扩大教育机会、保障教育公平的重要手段,为保证并促进其实施与质量,联邦政府自计划实施之初就为它制订了一套执行标准,并不断根据现实发展的需要对其进行修订.开端计划执行标准对开端计划涵盖的七种服务都作了详细具体的规定,其文本由标准概要、服务规划、社会服务标准、儿童健康和发展服务标准、个人教育项目服务标准、营养服务标准、家长参与服务标准、合作服务项目标准八大部分组成,并提供了多种运作方式供地方获权机构与授权办事处根据自身情况灵活选择与运用.此外,执行标准还强调组成包括政策理事会、政策委员会和家长委员会在内的开端计划治理机构,以加强对开端计划执行过程的监督与对其实施效果的监测和反馈,从而保证为处境不利儿童及其家庭提供高质量的多方面服务.     

植物组织培养虚拟实验室的构建

文章运用Flash技术构建了多场景式实时交互的植物组织培养虚拟实验室。所开发的网络虚拟实验,可以对实验过程进行完整展现,使学生熟悉实验仪器、环境,掌握实验步骤,起到良好的辅助实验教学的目的。     

非师范专业《现代教育技术》通识选修课教学设计与开发探究

教学设计是开发课程和指导教学活动实施的一种系统方法。运用ADDIE模型,融合多种学习理论,对非师范专业《现代教育技术》通识选修课进行系统的教学设计与开发研究,采用主题式教学内容和团队式教学模式,设计与教学目标和内容相匹配的教学方法和教学手段。经过三年的教学实践与评估优化,课程的教学体系日臻完善,其教学质量和教学效果被广大学生认可。     

开放教育《Dreamweaver网页设计》课程改革实践

根据电大开放教育的特点,结合学生的实际情况,以"建构主义学习理论"为指导,探索实用、有效、可行的教学方法,对《Dreamweaver网页设计》课程的教学过程进行了改革实践。     

Rationalising public support for private early childhood education and care: the case of Finland

ABSTRACT

In Finland, early childhood education and care (ECEC) is traditionally publicly provided. However, private ECEC provision has increased during the past decade, largely as a result of financial support from the public sector. Drawing on qualitative interviews with municipal decision-makers, this article identifies three frames within which publicly subsidised private ECEC provision and marketisation are rationalised: the pragmatic frame, the government frame and the choice frame. The results show that even though market logics and tendencies seem to have gained a strong foothold in local policies, there is a keen interest in universalism and maintaining public control over local ECEC provision.     

Reading Rescue: A follow-up on effectiveness of an intervention for struggling readers

The authors examined whether Reading Rescue continues to be an effective literacy intervention and factors that impact its effectiveness. Data were collected on 143 first-grade students, tutored by 104 tutors at 38 schools. There was significant growth on all foundational skills (ps?ps?d?=?1.62 sight words, d?=?1.68 oral reading/comprehension). Student-level factors of Individualized Education Program status, program completion, number of session, and invented spelling; tutor-level factors of sessions delivered and years of experience; school level factors of school size and percentage of language minority students all predicted grade-level passage or word reading (all ps?2007 Ehri, L. Efforts should focus on ensuring program completion and increasing program exposure in neediest schools.     

Art and Design Education in the Ecology of Care

In the light of challenges arising from contemporary issues such as inclusivity, sustainability and justice, the connections between art, design and caring appears to be pertinent. What role can artists and designers play in the ecology of care? How can we lead art and design students to connect and lend their creative skills to care needs? Drawing on the ethics of care and a relational view on health this article highlights the various teaching approaches and initiatives introduced at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, to support and guide students to realise various art and design for health and wellbeing projects that provide opportunities for students to part take in ecology of care using their creative skills. Although creative explorations at the intersection of art, design and caring is still at an early stage, outcomes from this ongoing effort have been encouraging in response to the shifting social needs to create a more inclusive and flourishing society in Singapore.     

Science diaries: a brief writing intervention to improve motivation to learn science

This study investigated the hypothesis that prompting students to self-assess their interest and understanding of science concepts and activities would increase their motivation in science classes. Students were randomly assigned to an experimental condition that wrote self-assessments of their competence and interest in science lessons or a control condition that wrote summaries of those same lessons. Writing activities were 10?min long and were given approximately once a week for eighteen weeks. Student motivation was assessed via self-report surveys for achievement goals and interest in science before and after the intervention. Students in the experimental condition showed higher endorsement of mastery goals and reported greater situational interest in science topics after the intervention compared to students who summarised the lessons. Increases in situational interest predicted higher individual interest in the domain. Results indicate an instructional practice requiring just 3?hours out of a semester of instruction was sufficient to achieve these effects on motivation in science classes.
