浅谈英语专业二外法语教学

Provision of quality education in the context of Syrian refugee children in the UK: opportunities and challenges

Abstract

While existing research has shown the importance of the three interrelated domains of the wider policy, the school and home/community environments in the development of quality education for learners, this literature does not fully capture the experiences of the refugee population. In this article we focus on a group of Syrian refugees who came as part of the first large cohort that was welcomed in the UK in December 2015. We adapt Tikly’s quality education frameworks and develop a model that highlights not only the importance of the three intersecting environments, but also the specific inputs/processes that are critical to achieving quality education for refugees. In so doing, we stress the critical role of English as a tool for refugee children’s inclusion and integration in schools. Consequently, the contribution of the paper is an understanding of the inputs/processes that are key to the development of quality education for migrant/refugee children.     

澳大利亚国家图书馆“带他们回家”口述史项目研究

1998-2002年,澳大利亚国家图书馆以该国历史上的土著儿童强制隔离政策为内容开展了一项名为“带他们回家”的大型口述史项目。该项目具有全民动员、实施先导项目、重视对采访人员的培训及对土著文化的研究四个特点,鼓励被隔离土著人倾诉自己的心声,找回自己的文化身份,同时让澳大利亚社会得以了解土著儿童隔离政策的真实面目。我国图书馆应吸取其中有益经验,以开放的态度对待口述史项目,重视对口述史项目工作方案的测试,尊重受访人的文化身份和文化敏感性,重视访谈资料的文字转录工作。     

浅论“和谐”在对外汉语教学中的教化

对外汉语教学是传播中国文化的一项重要事业。在中国推进和谐社会、和谐世界建设的背景下,对外汉语教学应承担起传播"和谐"的责任,并将"和谐"的教化作为改变对外汉语教学中"不和谐"的重要手段。通过对"和谐"的发掘和运用,改变对外汉语教学中语言的工具性倾向,用"和谐"充实汉语教学的文化精神,给学生的精神发展和自由理性以有益的启迪,增强汉语的向心力。     

努力打造一门具有本土特色的专业选修课程——“广西新时期文学作品选读”新课程建设

"广西新时期文学作品选读"是河池学院中国语言文学系汉语言文学专业新开设的一门专业选修课程,该教学改革项目2005年被批准为"新世纪广西高等教育教学改革工程‘十一五’第一批立项项目"。本文对"广西新时期文学作品选读‘新课程建设’"项目的立项背景、意义和建设情况进行扼要总结,并对下一步的建设进行思考。     

美国内战前的童工问题

内战前,童工劳动在美国是一个很普遍的社会现象。童工成为许多新建工厂的重要劳动力,人数一度占到工厂工人的1/3左右;整体雇佣多子女家庭是许多工厂主乐意采用的策略,1830年前后,这种做法在许多地方相当盛行。童工的大量使用与当时的劳动力缺乏、童工劳动力价格低廉以及清教徒劳动观念的影响等因素密切相关。童工的工作环境和生活状况非常恶劣,通常是日出而作,日落而息,而且人身自由还受到严格的限制。随着童工问题的日益严重,限制使用童工劳动的呼声也不断高涨。     

“如同”的语法化研究

＂如同＂的语法化经过了＂如……同＂→＂如同＂的发展过程,句法结构和语义的改变是＂如同＂语法化的主要因素,如同语法化的过程还是一个主观化的过程。此外,还有一些其他因素的影响,如双音化趋势、语言省力原则,等等。     

“顶岗实习生”实践性知识生成问题探析

促进师范生实践性知识的发展是“顶岗实习”最根本的出发点。“顶岗实习生”这个特殊群体实践性知识的缺失在某种程度上影响了“支教”农村薄弱学校和自身顶岗“实习”的效果。就“顶岗实习生”实践性知识生成的外部条件存在的问题,可从高等师范院校课程设置的调整、“顶岗实习”过程的指导与评价的加强等方面进行大胆探索。     

The Arts and Open‐Mindedness

Open‐mindedness is typically considered an intellectual virtue that brings humans into (closer) contact with reality and its complexities. In this essay, Susan Verducci expands the ways we typically think of cultivating open‐mindedness in classrooms to include the practice of engagement with the visual and performing arts. Working with the arts allows students and teachers to perceive and embody realities they would not normally experience. Specifically, the arts enable the drawing forth and exploration of multiple and subjective interpretations; the arts can therefore be uniquely productive in opening minds by helping one negotiate human perceptual constraints, by providing opportunities to enter standpoints other than one's own, and by encouraging the practice of living with uncertainty and ambiguity.
