大学英语教师话语对大学生英语交际意愿的影响及作用分析

教师话语是二语习得研究中的一个新的方向,其重要性已经得到专家和学者的共识。大学英语教学的实质是交际,在当今的大学英语课堂中存在大学生英语交际意愿不强的状况。影响中国大学生英语交际意愿的因素很多,本文从课堂言语交际主体一教师话话入手,分析大学英语教师话语对我国大学生英语交际意愿的影响和作用。     

Willingness to communicate: Antecedents & consequences

Willingness to communicate (WTC) is examined at the trait and state levels, which are viewed as complementary. Measures of trait WTC, extraversion, emotional stability, self‐esteem, communication apprehension, and competence were administered to 226 male and female university students. A structural equation model examined the hypothesized antecedents to WTC and revealed a good fit to the data. Seventy of the participants also volunteered for a communication laboratory. Trait WTC was related to volunteering for the lab portion of the study and state WTC was related to initiating a difficult communication task. Also, state perceived competence predicted both time and number of ideas on an easy speaking task; state anxiety predicted time and number of ideas on a difficult speaking task.

运用文化语言学的观点,从新疆地区民族语言教学过程中的“文化”概念入手,确定了文化因素教学在民族语言教学中的重要地位;把民族语言教学中的文化因素教学内容界定在交际文化的范围内。在具体的教学过程中就产生了一个互动过程,从而培养学生学习和研究所学民族语言的兴趣,同时也使学生对自己本民族文化进行重新审视与研究。     

语言媒介与南朝诗风的演变

南朝诗歌在逐渐走向完美、精致的形成过程中其风格不断变化,不同时期的诗歌风格也呈现出各异的特点。究其原因,从传播学的角度去分析。元嘉体诗歌的媒介主要是以书写媒介为主;永明体诗歌是南朝诗歌传播以书写媒介为主到以口语媒介为主的过渡;宫体诗传播的媒介主要以口语媒介为主。因为媒介的不同,对诗歌风格的演变也产生了一定的催化作用。

Testing a Model of Intercultural Willingness to Communicate based on Ethnocentrism,Ambiguity Tolerance and Sensation Seeking: The Role of Learning English in Iran

The present study aimed at testing a model of intercultural willingness to communicate based on ethnocentrism, ambiguity tolerance and sensation seeking between English and non-English major university students in Iran. A significant difference was found between the two groups on ethnocentrism and the results showed that the model fit the data adequately. Ethnocentrism was the strongest predictor of intercultural willingness to communicate for both groups. Sensation seeking was a significant predictor of intercultural willingness to communicate only for the non-English major university students. Moreover, sensation seeking and ambiguity tolerance were significant predictors of ethnocentrism.     

大学生跨文化交际意愿的现状分析——以兰州城市学院为例

本文以兰州城市学院为例分析大学生跨文化交际意愿的现状,探究跨文化交际意愿的障碍要因,即:文化差异、思维模式、价值取向、语用迁移、社会规约、宗教信仰、文化定势、非语言行为等方面。     

关于大学英语教案设计的再思考

传统的教案设计以语言知识灌输为唯一目的。最新意义上的教案应遵循以下三个原则：“以学习者为中心”的教育原则，“以人为本”的教育理念，“培养学生跨文化交际能力为目的”的教学思想，从而使课堂真正成为培养学生自主性、体现个性发展、注重学生跨文化交际能力的场所。     

On Tibetan Students’ Willingness to Communicate in EFL Classroom

Set as the primary and ultimate goal of language teaching process by MacIntyre et al.(1998),willingness to communicate in second language(L2 WTC) has been put much attention in L2 acquisition field.This study examined quantitatively the willingness to communicate in English as a foreign language(EFL WTC) in Tibetan context with a questionnaire.Tibetan college students’ EFL WTC was found significantly lower than Han students.No significant difference was found between Tibetan male and female students in their EFL WTC.Causes were explored andsome pedagogical suggestions were made in this study.
